Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3457 Naming The First Son And Fifth Daughter

”…”

Everyone waited for Evelynnʼs words as it was her call to make.

”Isabella, Iʼm sorry that I canʼt accept Hexander. I really canʼt afford endangering my son with such a name.”

”Forget it. If you donʼt like it, then I wonʼt force you. I really liked the name Celestia, so Iʼll take it as me naming it. This way, you donʼt have to worry about our promise.”

To Isabella, Evelynn may have named her child Celestia, but since she had also thought of the same name, she was overjoyed. She only lamented that she hadnʼt thought anything other than Hexander, which made her feel a bit forlorn.

”Bella…”

Evelynn called softly, but Isabella didnʼt turn to look at her, appearing to have taken offense. It made Evelynn sigh lightly.

”Fine, you can name all the children I will have in the future, and I wonʼt nitpick about the relation it has towards negative connotations.”

”Then youʼre naming your second son Hexander no matter what.”

Isabella quickly pounced on the chance and pointed at Evelynn, ”I donʼt need to name the others, but I thought of this for a long time because Xander is the name I thought of for my son.”

”Bella…” Evelynn appeared moved. She smiled as she nodded, ”Then, no matter who says, my second sonʼs name will be Hexander.”

Isabella quickly dropped her act, smiling brightly, ”Thatʼs my big sister.”

Evelynn appeared content, turning to look at her love.

”I accept Viridia for my first daughter, so Davis, please name our son.”

”Thatʼs right…” Isabella smashed her palm lightly before she stared at Davis, ”As a father, youʼre not naming any of your children here. You should name your first son by all means.”

”Haha…”

Davis chuckled lightly, ”I think naming should be a right for women since youʼre the one carrying the babies for nine months or more.”

”No, if a mother nurtures the child, then the father protects them.” Isabella waved her hand, ”A family is a group effort, so both father and mother have the right to name the child. You will name the first son, or Iʼm going to be pissed if anyone else named him.”

”Ahaha~”

Mingzhi and the others laughed at Isabellaʼs murderous expression.

”…”

Davis could only smile. Of course, he would like to name his sons and daughters, but he would rather see his women smile and allow them to feel an extra sense of belonging by naming their children or even each otherʼs children like Evelynn and Isabella did.

Evelynn was now even calling Isabella ʼBellaʼ, which even he didnʼt call her.

Clearly, they were chummy with each other by a large margin, so he naming each otherʼs children would help strengthen their bonds. But since they asked him, he could only comply.

”Then…”

Davis descended into contemplation.

He spent an entire minute thinking before he arrived at a few names, but there was one that intrigued him.

”How about Azariel Davis?”

”Doesnʼt that mean Angel of Death?” Mingzhiʼs gaze flashed.

”An Angel…?” Evelynn inclined her head, narrowing her brows, ”What is that? But it also has the meaning of death in it? Davis, didnʼt I tell everyone that we need to choose a name that doesnʼt sound malicious?”

”Well,” Mingzhi explained, ”Itʼs not malicious. You could interpret an angel to be a fairy or a saint.”

Mingzhi knew the cultivation world thought of fiends and saints the same way they thought of gods and devils or heroes and demons. There was no angel to be spoken of or seen anywhere, so the closest she could relate them to were fairies and saints.

”A Saint of Death sounds good, doesnʼt it?” Davis raised his brows, smiling lightly, ”It doesnʼt have the name hex or death in it for you to be worried over it.”

Evelynn pouted, looking at him with some suspicion.

However, she agreed that Azariel didnʼt sound as ominous as Hexander did.

”Azariel sounds like a boss character. Iʼd love to call the first son with the title of Saint of Death in the future~” Mingzhi smirked, ”It has my stupid vote on it.”

”If it is what my Emperor chose, then it obviously has my vote in it too.”

Isabella supported Davis, and then the others chimed in as well, agreeing that the name didnʼt sound lackluster.

Evelynn pursed her lips. She once again realized how much of an influence Davis held over his harem, causing her to giggle.

”Alright, then, this good son of mine will be named Azariel Davis, and this good flower will be named Viridia Davis.”

She returned her gaze to the babies she held and kissed their foreheads, her expression overflowing with love and affection.

”Great!”

Isabella shook her fist, suppressing the urge to decimate the building in front of her out of excitement. She had been sad only for a few seconds until she made a new deal with Evelynn while Davis naming the first son made her more than happy.

She pushed Davis to the side and leaned towards the first son, kissing him on the cheek softly.

”Azariel, youʼre also my son from now on.”

”Not giving~”

Evelynn giggled, causing the two of them to fight playfully.

Davis wished he could pet them, but he stood up and headed towards Shea, softly taking Sheria from her grasp and caressing her. Despite the commotion they made, Sheria was sound asleep.

It made him feel like she would be the silent type like her mother despite having the Golden Crowʼs Blood.

Shea made a content expression.

Even if Davis didnʼt come to spend time with her, she was fine as long as he came to look at their manifestation of love.

”Do you find it challenging here, Shea?”

”Ah? No…”

Feeling his touch on her cheek, Shea melted, shaking her head, ”Everyone takes good care of me. Particularly, Niera has been extremely good to me since we were on the same page.”

”Thatʼs good to hear.”

Davis nodded. He was about to say that he would come to visit her this week but changed his mind as he couldnʼt make the others jealous. Instead, he turned to look at Everlight with a curious expression, asking her if she updated the soul essences for the others.

”Yes. Everybody in this room except Evelynn has renewed their soul essences in me, so Iʼm waiting.”

Everlight said, causing Davis to pan his gaze at Isabella, Shirley, Mingzhi, Fiora, Niera, Lea, Nadia, Zestria, and Shea. They were all now protected by an Emperor-Tier Nine Lives Gracious Foxʼs blessing, so it wouldnʼt be possible for them to die unless Everlight died.

He was extremely content knowing that they could be saved even if they were to have their souls shattered.
