Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3470  A Path Back To Their World

After traversing the space a few times through spatial tunnels that drastically shortened the distance, Davis appeared above the Blazing Thunderlight Sect.

It was even more dazzling than the last time he looked at it since a few powers, including the Bloodcloud Family, seemed to have joined her, although he knew that she had the Bloodcloud Family practically dangling under her fingers like she was a puppeteer.

ʼSome scary woman she is…ʼ

Davisʼs lips curled into one of derision as he looked down on this place.

It wasnʼt like he didnʼt have good memories there as he saw who the woman known as Yilla Zyrus was for the first time, allowing him to accept her.

However, he still hated this place as he had unfinished business with Fairy Thunderblaze. He was about to kick her at least one time after their debts had been cleared, but now, it seems like he would owe her more for how she managed to find the entrance or a path to the Grand Beginnings Continent.

But it canʼt be helped. He wasnʼt everywhere and couldnʼt do everything, so he had to rely on someone else for the things he needed, whether it be requesting help to do something or plundering from his enemies to make a killing.

”Welcome, Emperor of Death~”

Her seductive voice echoed in his mind even before he descended, causing his brows to twitch. She was extremely cautious even if he arrived unannounced.

He descended all the way to a platform as the sectʼs barrier came undone lightly to allow him to enter. N0v3lTr0ve served as the original host for this chapterʼs release on N0v3l--B1n.

Landing on the platform, he saw a woman traverse the skies alone as she appeared before him. This beautyʼs buxom frame was draped by the resplendent crimson-purple robes, making her appear regal. The luxurious ornaments that graced her garments glittered from the daylight, making her appear quite dazzling.

”Fairy Thunderblaze, I hope you have been up to no good.”

”That… depends on peopleʼs perspective.”

Fairy Thunderblazeʼs voice was melodious as she tapped on the empty air before her. Her mood seemed to be good.

”I guess so.” Davis lightly sighed, ”Fine, letʼs get on with it.”

Fairy Thunderblaze inclined her head as though she was confused, ”Which one are you talking about?”

”If I had your annihilative heavenly flames, I would first drop it off at your doorstep before it could even become dawn.”

”Donʼt be so cold.” Fairy Thunderblaze giggled lightly as she waved her hand, ”I said three people, including me, so whereʼs the other one?”

”Yeah, I came to see if all is good with your path. Even if you havenʼt planned anything strange, the path might not be safe, and you did ask for my help.”

”Well, I did say that it was unstable and could not be entered easily, so I needed your help in trying to open it, but that changed quite recently.”

”What do you mean?” Davis raised his brows.

”Youʼll see it when you go see there, and youʼll certainly be surprised, to say the least, perhaps even-”

Fairy Thunderblaze hesitated but didnʼt say it in the end, causing Davis to be intrigued.

”Then letʼs go.”

Davis didnʼt care any longer and headed towards the barrier of the Grand Beginning Continent. It was called the Fifty-Two Territories for a while until it was renamed.

He traversed the skies along with Fairy Thunderblaze before they appeared at an Ascendance Monument. It was the Western Ascendance Monument.

Right now, the Central Primesky Allianceʼs forces stayed here, so his people could not be harmed if they were to suddenly appear here, and Mingzhi was also paying close watch to this area, daily listening to updates about who was ascending and whatnot.

She truly worked hard, and he felt like he must acquire some personnel for her, but she declined, wanting to oversee everything as that was better as the head of an intelligence network since getting information wouldnʼt be delayed, and she could respond faster.

Therefore, there was not much he could do other than respond to her wishes, which was being more affectionate to her.

Soon enough, they traversed the monument and headed further, finally arriving at the giant fog that didnʼt let anyone near it.

Even Immortal Emperors were unable to do anything about it.

It was so huge that finding a path in it would be like searching for a particular pearl in an ocean. It could never be found unless they knew its general area at the very least, but Fairy Thunderblaze managed to find such a path, making him admire her senses inwardly.

”Didnʼt you say that you found this path through Karma Laws? How did you do it?”

He was unable to stop his curiosity and asked, causing Fairy Thunderblazeʼs lips to curl.

She didnʼt say anything and eventually led him to the path. With their incredible speed, it didnʼt take much time for them to arrive at the location. She took him further into the fog, where everything became restricted, even their cultivations.

However, it was only suppressed a bit to the level where they wouldnʼt be able to use their full strength properly.

”There…”

After they made their way for a few kilometers through the fog, Fairy Thunderblaze raised her hand and pointed straight.

However, Davis still found it difficult to see anything.

But two seconds later, he finally saw a spherical ripple that reverberated in the air. It seemed like a spatial vortex, but also not as strange iridescent colors rippled across the vortex.

”…!”

However, Davisʼs pupils dilated at this moment.

Above that iridescent vortex was a man. He seemed to be stuck in a triangular soul formation of some kind, seemingly in stasis. The very sight of it was so shocking that Davis abruptly turned around and reached out his hand towards Fairy Thunderblaze, his hand shaped like a claw as it caught her throat in a split second.

”I told you not to touch my family, didnʼt I?”

Davisʼs voice was frigid, his gaze brewing with killing intent.

The man in the triangular spirit formation was none other than Founder Alstreim Windstorm, his life and death unknown.

There has been a bit of trouble in rl. I wasnʼt able to write 5 chaps and only did 3.5 chaps, so posting 2 chaps now and see if I could make it today or tomorrow.

I apologize for the inconvenience.
