Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3327 Throwing A Favor

Davis opened his eyes as he heard the creaking sound of the huge door to his chamber open, allowing him to see three beauties step inside.

The first sight he saw was naturally the stacked peaches of his fourth wife, but his eyes fell on the hair color that seemed to have undergone a change, not to mention the change in her aura that was regal and even divine in his eyes set his heart ablaze with her fiery figure.

She appeared before him, standing at a height of five feet eight inches tall, emanating an aura that commands authority. Her crimson eyes gleamed with an otherworldly intensity, capturing attention like glowing embers in the night. Cascading down to her waist, her fiery-red hair intertwined with icy-blue strands in similar amounts, creating a mesmerizing blend of warmth and coolness.

Her hair color was no longer disproportional. It was equal, perhaps also signifying that she reached a state of ultimate balance between ice and fire.

Davis stood up and closed in on her. Standing in front of her, he reached out his hand as though he couldnʼt wait to be intimate with her as he admired her beauty.

She was adorned in a fiery crimson robe like always. It accentuated her curves perfectly, but with her aura completely different, she radiated a true regal allure. The playfulness in her expression was also somewhat missing, replaced with a poised gracefulness. At least, that was what he could see from her current bearing as a woman with noble blood.

”My Icefire Fairy, youʼve blossomed into a much more gorgeous woman than I could ever wish for…”

Davis cupped Shirleyʼs cheeks, intending to kiss her, while Shirley was also mesmerized by his praise and gentle hold. His words were like fine wine, but there was nothing more quenching than his lips to her.

”Hehem~”

However, a sound of interruption echoed, causing them to stop.

”Canʼt the Emperor of Death see weʼre also here?” Mistress Zahara had a straight face.

Davis let go of Shirley and looked at them.

Mistress Zahara didnʼt match his gaze at all, seemingly having mustered the courage to say what she had said now.

”My apologies. I didnʼt think you two would mind as youʼve already seen us be intimate with each other naked.”

”Wha-”

Mistress Zaharaʼs cheeks went red as she was no longer able to maintain her straight face, although Davis could only see her beautiful eyes, which seemed to tremble.

Even Mistress Yeyin froze after hearing this piece of inappropriate information, wondering what exactly their souls were doing when they were inheritance masters.

”Worry not, as you just helped Shirley better fuse the two of your blood just like you two helped her now. Many thanks.”

Davis cupped his hands before he returned his gaze at Shirley again.

”Whatʼs your prowess like?”

”I havenʼt tested it yet.”

Shirley blinked with her mesmerizing eyes, causing Davis to retreat, ”Then use me as target practice.”

”Iʼll take up on your offer then~”

Shirley giggled before she raised her hand and blew a kiss across her palm.

However, her mere kiss lit a spark between the space between her palm and her lips as a strange scarlet-white wisp emerged and flew towards Davis. It radiated an illusory silence that dawned and tried to overwhelm Davis, although his sapphire pupils just kept track of its trajectory.

His eyes widened with surprise. However, he simply reached out a hand that was covered in chaotic energy and grasped the scarlet-white icefire wisp, causing it to be snuffed out.

”Woah~ So cool!~”

Shirleyʼs crimson eyes sparkled as the nirvanic flame mark on her forehead flashed ever so lightly.

*Sizzle!~*

As though the snuffed-out icefire wisp was brought into existence again, a deadly glow erupted within Davisʼs palms and exploded.

A muffled sound echoed, and Davisʼs hands were now covered in a crystalline substance. It was crimson-blue in color and could be made up of flesh. However, he merely shook his hand, causing the crystalline particles to fall like they were never a part of his arm in the first place.

”Amazing. Your prowess is nine levels higher, Shirley…”

Davis was thoroughly stumped over Shirleyʼs improvement.

She just wisped an icefire wisp into existence when she would usually focus a lot and expend more energy to create icefire energy through fusion. Therefore, this was a tremendous improvement alone, but her prowess from that little wisp also exceeded his expectations, which meant if she used her energy with full force, then it could near peak at nine levels or even reach ten levels higher.

If she used a powerful technique, then it could even step into low or mid-ten levels higher, although there were literally no techniques for Icefire Laws, and Shirley would have to create one for herself.

However, Davis also knew the terrifying aspect of icefire lay not in its prowess but in its destructive aspect that neared Destruction Laws in strength. The wounds created from it could not be healed easily, and it was very difficult to defend against, even if one had a stronger defensive prowess.
Thatʼs why he clad himself in chaotic energy so as not to get harmed. He could never be extra careful around the fusion of Ice Laws and Fire Laws.

Nevertheless, Mistress Zahara and Mistress Yeyin also looked proud as Shirley surpassed their own fusion at this moment. It also made them feel a sense of defeat as magical beasts would eventually lose to humans when it comes to comprehension ability.

However, they were also young, so they didnʼt feel a profound sense of defeat and knew they would catch up as long as they worked together.

”Do you two want to become Emperor-Tier Beasts?”

But suddenly, Davis asked them, causing their thoughts to come to a stop.

”No… way…”

”Youʼre kidding, right?”

Mistress Yeyin and Mistress Zahara responded with unamused expressions as the Emperor of Death was making claims as though it was possible for beasts to just leap through their fates as normal beasts into kings and kings to emperors, leaving them flabbergasted.

”Not at all.”

Davis shook his head with an amused smile, ”However, donʼt mistake my intentions as I only care about Shirley and want her to have Emperor-Tier Blood. As long as you two promise to give me your blood essences like this time, I will promise to help you become Empresses. Otherwise, feel free to decline. I wonʼt do anything other than search for other worthy phoenixes to aid my valiant Shirley.”

Davis patted Shirleyʼs head as she appeared by his side and accepted his caress as though she was a bird.

His words were like lightning to the twins, but he remained calm as though he was just going about a business deal.

However, who was he kidding?

Shirleyʼs phoenix blood essence, which contained the essence of ice and fire, was only at an optimal balance because she had the blood of twins that didnʼt reject each other.

If Shirley decided to imbue the blood of any other phoenixes, there was a high chance that balance could break and would cause her to end up in the infirmary for an eternity or worse unless she could obtain blood essence from an Icefire Phoenix itself, although he didnʼt know if such an existence was even present in the universe.

Therefore, the only sources of massive improvement for Shirley were these twin phoenixes before him.

If they declined, then he didnʼt know what he could do to improve Shirleyʼs bloodline tier.

However, he acted like he didnʼt care, hoping that they would bite the hook.

”I think you already helped us enough.”

”Indeed. Any more, and weʼll feel overburdened by the debt we already have towards you…”

Mistress Zahara and Mistress Yeyinʼs voices were sincere, causing Davis to be inwardly alarmed.

ʼAh! These… stuck-up… righteous sisters…!ʼ

He forced a smile, ”We may have cleared our debts for the most part, but weʼre still bound by the invisible threads of karma that connect us from the very beginning. Iʼll give you two a final chance to reconsider, as no one would decline an offer to soar in power.”

Davis walked closer and gestured them the way out, ”This is why I called you two, and whether you want to take advantage of the opportunity or not when the time comes is your call.”

”…”
