Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3318 Fulfillment

Davis returned to the Aurora Cloud Gate with his top speed.

He was a bit worried about what would happen to Mistress Zahara and the others as they were extremely defenseless right now, but with his buddies there, Patriarch Fenren Jadelight and Patriarch Soaren Jadelight, he sent them a message to look after them, protect them from harm as much as they could but also told them to do with the Fire Phoenix Clan as they pleased.

After all, the war the coalition waged to find him caused so many causalities to the Starlight Jade Wolf Clan and the Central Primesky Alliance as a whole.

And who were the ones who led that coalition? It was none other than the Fire Phoenix Clan.

Therefore, he didnʼt restrain them from getting their due revenge.

However, he didnʼt know it was just the opposite of the others.

The Emperor of Death has spared the Fire Phoenix Clan… so who were they to go overturn his decision by looting and destroying the Fire Phoenix Clan? Besides, they didnʼt know what he had in store for the Fire Phoenix Clan, so they stayed their hands, watching his moves from a distance.

They didnʼt want to incur his wrath, one that was capable of erasing Late Stage Immortal Emperors from the world within a few seconds.

This was why the Fire Phoenix Clan wasnʼt still besieged by any other factions.

But this could only last for a few days at best, so time was of the essence for the Fire Phoenix Clan to mend as many diplomatic relationships as possible, and Great Ancestor Zenflame understood this more than anyone else.

Davis flew to his island, but he was blocked midway by Elder Aradiel Furiose.

”Brat, Iʼm surprised you were able to take down the Fire Phoenix Clan. However, itʼs over for you. You cannot engage in war while staying in the Aurora Cloud Gate as an ex-disciple, so Iʼm going to ask you to leave.”

ʼFuck…ʼ

Davis knew this was going to happen, but he didnʼt regret it. He cupped his hands, bid farewell, and turned around to leave without making a scene.

”Wait.”

However, Elder Aradiel Furiose called out, causing Davis to stop in his tracks.

”Iʼm proud of your decision to spare the ignorant citizens and control yourself from your anarchic impulses. The war ended when the Fire Phoenix Clanʼs upper echelon disappeared, and its structure is in disarray, so I guess you can come back for the remainder of your time.”

”Haha. Sorry for causing trouble.”

Davis didnʼt stand on ceremony and rushed past Elder Aradiel Furiose, causing him to turn dumbfounded.

Could it be that he was predicted that he was going to say such a thing and have him come back?

He only shook his head before he disappeared from the scene.

Davis finally reached his island.

The Reaper Soul Legion welcomed him with a fanatic expression as they went on their knees, including Yotan, but he had her stand up and told her to locate the Cyan Soul Rat Clan in tandem with Mingzhiʼs Black Claymore intelligence network.

”Yes, Legion Master. Weʼre already looking into it, but the rats are sneaky as expected. Even their envoys who were sent to search for you to form a peace treaty have committed suicide.”

”…”

Davis blinked, unable to tell if the Cyan Soul Rat Clan was ruthless or smart.

Nonetheless, their moves did allow them to stay clear of him. If not, he wouldʼve gone after them first instead of the Fire Phoenix Clan, as he had Shirley and Mistress Zaharaʼs mental health to worry about, but as for the Cyan Soul Rat Clan, they were free game.

Everyone hated them as they were sneaky and would rarely uphold their words.

Davis patted Yotanʼs head and even held her cheek for an entire second, causing her to freeze and turn red in front of the Reaper Soul Legion before he smiled lightly and left.

The Captains grinned as they kept their heads lowered but didnʼt make any comments about it as they knew they would be worked to death by the Legion Commander.

Davis arrived before his mansion. On the way, he did see the burn marks of apocalyptic flames on the smaller mansions and couldnʼt help but chuckle over the workload Esvele would have in repairing them.

Quickly, he made his way past the garden and entered the mansion, but seeing that no one was there, he made his way to the master room and saw them still present, which made his lips twitch as the urge to laugh filled him.

After all, only an hour or two had passed since he left.

To him, it was funny that he destroyed the Fire Phoenix Clanʼs upper echelon in such a short time before he got back to the place where he left them.

However, to his women, it was just the opposite.

There was a strange glint in their eyes as they saw him as though he was a piece of meat to devour. Right now, he was too magnificent for them not to savor him.

”I guess you all already know what happened, but yeah, itʼs over for the Fire Phoenix Clanʼs atrocities. I killed their mastermind, Ancestor Reselius Zen-”

*Whoosh~*

Abruptly, Shirleyʼs lithe figure flickered and fell into his embrace, holding him dear as she rested her head on his chest, her lips curling into a moved smile.

He got revenge for her... for the humiliation she suffered at the hands of the Fire Phoenix Clan that she wanted to repay. And he did it in a way that she could stand proud of without feeling the slightest guilt, causing her to feel extreme fulfillment at this moment.

Davis couldnʼt help but smile as he raised his hand and caressed her head, brushing her crimson hair with a bit of icy white strands.

”You wonʼt have to feel that youʼre ungrateful as the Fire Phoenix Clan is now in good hands.”

”Mhm~”

She hummed and held him closer for a few more seconds before finally letting go as she placed a kiss on his lips.

”Glad youʼre safe.”

”It was just as Myria said. He didnʼt need any help at all.” Isabella grinned as she shook her head.

Everyone else couldnʼt help but steal a glance at Myria, who seemed reserved over the praise.

To Myria, staying here and listening to all her new sisters speak and continuously praise her was a new experience, a strange one that she didnʼt feel comfortable with as she had time with her side to learn so many things but also liked it as it reminded of her time where she was innocent and spoke with her maids or patients without any stuck up expression whatsoever.

She wanted to feel more of these emotions but was anxious that she might make a mistake as she long lost her refreshing attitude and became stern after all the things she suffered. She was afraid that she could hurt their emotions.

Suddenly, she saw Davis standing in front of her while she was thinking.

She saw that his eyes were muddled before he leaned towards her and fell on her.

”Ah~”

Ellia and the others placed their hands on their mouths, thinking he was making a move on Myria.

Myria also felt the same as her cheeks turned red. From his breath to his enforcing weight, everything made her feel strange.

However, she sensed that he was unmoving and instantly realized that he was exhausted beyond compare.

”Take me to bed…”

But the next words he said caused her thoughts to collapse and made her blush reach to her ears and neck.

Was he exhausted, or was he taking advantage of her? The others also realized this and couldnʼt help but laugh as they knew this was both.

Regardless, Myria brought him to the bed and laid him down, allowing him to sleep, but before she could say anything, about two or three serpents slipped past her and slithered over him, causing her lips to part as she saw Fiora, Shirley, and Ellia pine on him.

”Sorry about that, elder sister.” Ellia displayed her tongue, ”You must learn to share or have us disappear through your wits.”

”Hmph. You can have him all you want.”

Myria turned around, but suddenly, Davis grabbed her wrist, causing her heart to pound.

”Donʼt go.”

”…”

Those two words were enough to cause her to melt inside as her feet didnʼt allow her to move from this place.

Two seconds later, she sat on the edge of the bed and listened to him tell all of them about Ancestor Reselius Zenflame, the Fire Phoenix Blood Essence Orb, and the Heavenly Water Tribulation, which made her eyes widen as she recalled the memories she had forgotten.
