Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3326 Tricky Situation

ʼFuck… I forgot to check up on Clara and ask when she would wake up…ʼ

Once Davis was outside, he remembered. However, seeing that Tia didnʼt panic and didnʼt say anything, he guessed that it would be soon.

Nonetheless, he dwelled upon this retreat, feeling like he had been defeated as he wasnʼt the one to retreat from something like that. After all, he would stand his ground and either tell them to forget it or back off or outright kill if someone tried to charm him.

However, who was it? It was his little aunt, Tia.

It was obvious to him what kind of feelings she had for him, and she made it too obvious nowadays, not bothering to conceal it at all, giving him a headache.

Before, he felt that it was only a crush that his little aunt had on him.

It was fine.

Everyone would have one or more crushes in their life. Most of them would eventually be forgotten with time, and they would only be looked at as fond or amusing memories. He imagined Tia would also think of him like that as she grew up, but it seemed to have only worsened with time and, after the recent episode, has matured to a point where she was no longer holding back and making flirtatious comments to him.

ʼTia, your father and mother would be disappointed, and even my mother is going to kill me if you keep this up and do something that cannot be taken back, regretting it later on…ʼ

He wanted to say this line but imagined that her expression would wither and couldnʼt bring himself to say it as he exited.

However, considering the mental state of the current Tia, he felt like she wouldnʼt mind most discomforting words, making him feel confused as to what he should do with her.

On one hand, that time event made him feel distressed, so he was double careful with her as he didnʼt want to lose her again. On the other, he was worried that this situation would end somewhere where he would look down on himself and possibly ruin the dynamic of his own harem.

Choosing a blood relative to be intimate was a slippery slope that he didnʼt want to walk on.

After all, he had already heard of numerous cases of incest.

For cultivators, there was no need to be bound by the morals and values of mortals, but that was their roots, and they couldnʼt easily abandon it. However, even if they searched for that forbidden fruit and wanted to relish the taste, it wasnʼt quite forbidden since there was no harm in it as cultivators, making it a double-edged sword where the ones who partook in it wouldnʼt even leave their descendants or even ancestors alone, wanting to taste more.

Mothers with sons, fathers with daughters, and even siblings with siblings; anything goes, and all one had to do was break the taboo.

ʼLike Alexi Ethren did…ʼ

Davis remembered his friend and couldnʼt help but inwardly laugh, wondering what his relationship with his mother, Arianna Woller, was like.

They already had a child, and even when they were in the Mortal Realm, their child was still in good health, so there was no need to say anything about mortal cultivators.

Heck, even Myriaʼs vague memories indicated that her father, an immortal, lusted after her, perhaps for her eternal life aspect.

Either way, he didnʼt want to entertain these thoughts, but he couldnʼt dismiss Tia either as she appeared to be serious, and she wasnʼt exactly closely related to him like direct siblings were, so-

ʼNo, no… I shouldnʼt be thinking like that…ʼ

Davis cut off his thought process and walked away from the door to Tiaʼs room.

While walking away, he couldnʼt help but ponder over the new technique she created.

ʼOr would it be better to say that she remembered…?ʼ

Davis wondered. He imagined that her subconscious mind was also no longer the same as she seemed to have transformed into a different person after that incident.

However, he couldnʼt tell anything apart, even with Fallen Heaven, which also made him believe that she was the same Tia and not some old monster. He did see those four souls being blasted by the divine punishment, after all, so there was no doubt over that.

In truth, Tia didnʼt have any memories that would allow her to recall grand karmic techniques.

All she had was her Karmic Guardian Physique that had leveled up and had techniques sealed in it, which she could sense, perceive, and comprehend after pondering on it or growing in cultivation.

Davis had no way of knowing this, and only Tia was vaguely sure of what was going on, even though she was also just trying to do her best not to let chaos ensue.

Nonetheless, Davis shook this matter off and headed towards Tina and Dalila, wanting to see Epsila, the Soulforge Elevation Resonance Pillʼs improvement.

He saw that Epsila was on the verge of breaking through to Exalted Tier with all the similar types of pill essences fed to her, which left him delighted as he couldnʼt wait to use it on himself and increase his soul prowess.

Having nothing to do other than go satisfy his women, he thought for a moment before beginning to refine the soul essences of the Fire Phoenixes. After finishing them, he had their comprehension clouds stored on the side for Shirley and continued to refine the Immortal Emperor Soul Essences to improve his soul prowess.

With successive refinements that brought it to the peak, and he continued to refine the thousands of Immortal King Soul Essences he possessed, he wondered what kind of peak it would bring him to in addition to using Epsila, the Soulforge Elevation Resonance Pillʼs Pill Essence when Epsila reaches Exalted Tier!

Half a day later, he finally sensed Shirley coming out of seclusion as her King-Tier aura blared, causing the entire island to come to a stop. The Reaper Soul Legion froze, and the ladies also shivered in this strange hot and cold aura that shook their souls.

”Mother!”

Eterna was the first one to jump in joy as she hopped towards Shirley from the garden, jumping into her embrace.

”Hehehe~”

Shirley caught Eterna and gave her a smooch on the cheek as she hugged her closely, the both of them laughing together. In a few seconds, everyone who could exit seclusion gathered in front of Shirley, congratulating her for entering King Tier successfully.

”Come to me.”

Shirley suddenly heard a soul transmission in her head, causing her to smile gleefully at the others.

”Our Emperor has summoned me.”

”You lucky woman~” Isabella struck Shirleyʼs back with a pat, causing the latter to giggle.

”Bring Flamerose and Frostrose as well.”

”Agh~”

However, another soul transmission fell in Shirleyʼs mind, causing her excitement to fall.

”You look like you received an arrow to the heart.”

Isabella smiled while Shirley shook her head and turned to look behind.

”Mistress Zahara and Mistress Yeyin. We three have been summoned.”

The twin phoenixes looked solemn. They nodded and left together with Shirley.

Eterna and Celestia watched Shirley leave along with the two other beauties and couldnʼt help but have their mouths shaped ʼOʼ as they figured their father commanded immense respect even from some people their mothers respected and told them not to be ever disrespectful to them.
