Divine Emperor of Death

And just like that, the bluish poison wriggling around the blue-armored skeletal spirit fey was rendered useless.

Natalyaʼs black eyes narrowed as she stared at her frozen opponent. After the dark-blue-robed man with a shining blue skeletal head became encased in cerulean ice, she didnʼt dally. She hurriedly began casting the technique she used again.

She only released a small portion of her essence, martial and soul energies, and even then, she hadnʼt used the full amount, somewhat retaining them still in the palm of her hands as she summoned a group of tiny cerulean lotuses again, intending to finish off her opponent.

However, before she could do anything else, the blue-armored skeletal spirit fey abruptly seeped out from the cerulean ice like an illusion and had already rushed towards her, his movements becoming faster than ever. And when he came into contact with her, his blue-armored form shattered, leaving him completely stripped while his bones turned into a mass of poisonous armor.

”How amazing! He broke out of the cerulean cold ice before I could even finish my technique!”

Natalyaʼs eyes widened at the sight as she once again brought her hands together, releasing the cerulean lotus technique that had been gradually gathering.

However, it was different from what she had shown earlier.

This time, the cerulean lotuses were much larger than how she first used them, and they wrapped themselves around his body, forming a cocoon-like barrier between them.

The lotuses were over three meters long and almost three meters wide, creating a large wave that enveloped the entire area and pushed back the bluish poisonous mass back into the barrier, their power overflowing as they crushed everything within its range.

The poisonous mass was constantly retreating.

However, once the waves of lotuses had already ended, the bluish poisonous mass came rushing straight toward Natalya.

A smile flashed across her face when suddenly the bluish poisonous mass froze like a glacier as it almost reached her. One of its edges froze over like a sword, pointing at Natalya, and her opponentʼs skeletal head manifested from beneath the sword, looking at her upside down.

”You... how can you even freeze my poisonous spirit body?

His hoarse voice echoed out with disbelief.

”...”

On the other hand, Natalya was pretty shaken.

She had never seen a being able to imitate the appearance of the ghost and skeletal specters from her imagination. Although she felt like she had everything in her control, she was reminded once more of how powerful this half-spirit really was.

Not wanting to drag this out that would lead to her failure, she rubbed her wrist to her palm, manifesting an icy dagger that she stabbed through his skeletal head.

With Ieshaʼs might still overlapping hers, the icy dagger pierced through, causing most to be shocked.

Natalya won!

Just as everyone thought so, Natalya quickly retreated again.

The bluish poisonous mass exploded into a noxious gas in the air, the force of the explosion pushing her away further and sending her falling to the ground. Her icy dagger fell from her hand, but it abruptly shook as though someone was controlling through its strings when a hand appeared to have grasped it before a bluish gas converged and turned back into the dark blue-robed man again, his poisonous armor having disappeared.

Natalyaʼs expression changed as she saw the real body of her opponent appear below her. Her undulations abruptly surged, causing her to recover her balance and dodge to the side.

*Puchi!~*

Blood splashed from her arm.

Natalya clenched her teeth as she felt a blue poison invade her body. Ignoring the searing pain of the cold after her icy dagger slashed at her, she quickly tried to stop the poison. However, would her opponent give her a chance?

Just like before, most of the bluish poisonous mass was repelled by her icy dagger, but this time, the blue-armored skeletal spirit fey wasnʼt in her gaze any more.

”Give up. Once you get invaded by my mephitic poison, it is difficult not to want to vomit blood till you drop dead.”

Natalya raised her head and saw her opponent tower above her in the skies, his cold, gleaming eyes of a skeleton staring down at her with indifference.

”Well, then... letʼs end things here.”

Despite her solemn words, Natalya gave herself another shot with the same technique she used against him as she stood up. But this time, instead of using all of her martial and soul energies, she released a little bit.

Her opponent looked at her strangely.

”What are you trying to do? Donʼt tell me youʼre afraid and want to drag things out a bit before surrendering?”

Natalya blinked as she saw the blue-armored skeletal spirit fey mock her. However, a massive amount of essence energy gathered between her frail palms. Yin and ice energy intermixed and kept condensing into a cerulean lotus, its size turning bigger and bigger as she stretched her arms.

Before long, it covered her entire figure and turned ten meters long, practically thrumming with an incredible amount of energy that was being rapidly condensed again as it became smaller and smaller.

”...”

Her opponentʼs expression fell for the first time!

His body flickered as he disappeared, appearing to no longer want to give her the time or leave her poisoned until she coughed out a large amount of blood and retired.

However, Natalya had already finished casting her technique. Even though her opponent was incredibly skilled, she felt that it was over without a doubt.

As the cerulean lotus neared the one-meter mark, it abruptly sprouted an icy dagger from the center. Grabbing the lotus with her frail fingers, she forcefully pierced the cerulean lotus through her opponentʼs blue-armored skeletal spirit body.

Even though a cloud of blue poison was cushioning the lotus daggerʼs advance, it pressed on and caused him to come to a sudden stop, his entire being, including the circulation of his energies, slowing down to his shock.

What kind of realm was this, her energy affecting him without even entering his body!?

*Boom!~*

That instant, both of them vanished in an explosion of cerulean light, the entire area becoming sealed in ice.

”...!”

Ellia and Shirley had their mouths agape in shock. They stood there staring at the frozen area where the two enemies fought each other.

”Did we manage to win...?” Ellia asked, her voice trembling.

Shirley nodded slightly, ”Yes, we managed to win.”

However, both their question and answer sounded absentminded, as though they werenʼt really sure what had taken place amidst the clash. Their eyes became worried for Natalyaʼs safety.

They believed her, and Iesha was also with her, but if anything happened to them, how were they going to answer Davis?

*Fzzz~*

But at this moment, Natalyaʼs figure could be seen on the huge glacier ice. Like duplicating her image, she appeared outside the ice as her figure flashed. Perhaps because she was inside the ice, her dark-blue robe was drenched, sexily outlining her curves. Her wet black hair was shimmering amidst the moonlight, giving her a serene yet amorous look.

*Snap~*

She raised her hand, and with a snap of her finger, not only everyone came out of their reverie, but the huge glacier exploded into millions of tiny icy shards, and within it was an unmoving opponent who crashed to the ground.

His body quickly twitched, and he began shivering crazily as he stood up. However, he faltered and went down on one of his knees and used his fist to prop himself. Raising his human head, he glared at Natalya with humiliation present in his eyes before his lips curved.

”I admit defeat.”

Crushing something in his hand the next second, he disappeared from the battle stage.
