New Age Of Summoners

”Esmund after the benefits did you set for clearing the level 1?”

While watching the fights in the mirror screens, the guild master asked Esmund about the rewards for clearing the battle tower.

The battle tower in front of them had five levels and clearing each level would reward the participant with something which was already prepared by the owner of the battle tower.

”The rewards for the first three levels is very common; however, for level 4 and level 5, it is good,”

Esmund revealed a slight smile as he answered the guild master’s question.

”...”

Everyone was speechless when they heard those words; however, they revealed smiles on their faces.

The true motive of this battle tower was to train them through the battle and the rewards they gain from clearing the levels are secondary.

”According to my guess, they might barely reach level 4 and as for level 5, even if they reach, they can’t win it,”

Esmund was very confident that no one would reach level 5.

”So, who is guarding the halls in level 5 then?”

After seeing the confident look on Esmund’s face, the guild master asked with a curious look on his face.

”For that, you need to wait. Unless someone reaches level 5, you will not get to know beforehand,” Esmund chuckled as he continued saying, ”However, I can say one thing for sure that you will be surprised.”

When he said his last sentence, Esmund revealed a mysterious smile making the other vagrant cultivators even more curious.

After Esmund’s words, no one continued to ask him about the guardians of the halls in the last level.

…..

After 8 minutes,

’Swoosh’

’Puchi’

Ajax threw his bloodlust spear at an armoured minotaur and killed it in a single attack.

’Level 3 spear dao along with a heaven grade spear could easily pierce through the armour of rank 5 spirit beast like a tofu,’

Ajax walked towards the corpse of the armoured minotaur which started disappearing to pick his weapon.

”Congratulations to the participant for killing the armoured minotaur.”

”The participant has successfully cleared all the 10 halls in the first level.”

”The reward box is available along with a special reward box for being the first participant to clear level 1.”

Just as he stored his weapon back into his inventory, the female voice resounded in the hall making Ajax reveal a satisfied smile.

That’s right!

Ajax cleared all the ten halls in the first level of the battle tower. He cleared each and every hall with a single attack.

So, within 10 minutes, he completed all the 10 halls in the first level including the one he cleared earlier.

Moreover, he didn’t have any fear that the vagrant cultivators would become greedy to covet his weapons or things and used everything openly.

He used only a single skill in each and every hall like Spatial blades, Demon claw, Shadow clone.

Overall, except for summoning the elemental spirits, he used almost all of his trump cards without any fear.

”I wonder what is the reward and special reward,”

Ajax was not surprised that there were rewards for clearing the level because it serves as the motivation to perform even better for the rewards from the next level.

…..

”As expected of the personal disciple of the powerful cultivators. Not only he got two peak heaven grade weapons but powerful skills,”

Elder Ramon was the one who was keeping an eye on Ajax from the beginning. Every time, he used a single strike to clear the hall, it would raise a commotion outside the battle tower.

”Stop bothering about Ajax and focus on your own personal disciples,”

When Elder Ramon said about Ajax, the guild master shook his head and asked them to concentrate on their own personal disciples.

From the guild master’s perspective, when a master watches the battles of his students, they could guide them better and moreover, they could also notice all the weaknesses and strengths of that disciple.

”Look Levi is second in clearing the first level,”

Elder Seward, who was watching the battles of his disciples announced when Levi finished the first level,

Paulin was the third one to finish level 1 and after him, all the participants were able to clear the first level within no time.

Actually, level 1 is too easy for all the young cultivators, who were in the general realm. So, they were able to finish just after Ajax finished the halls in level 1 of the battle tower.

....

’1000 low-level spirit crystals?’

When Ajax opened the normal rewards, he was shocked to see 1000 low-level spirit stones in the box.

’Is it even called a reward?’

Ajax scoffed at the spirit stones before tossing them into the inventory before opening the special reward for the first participant to clear level 1.

’At least give an item that has some value to it,’

Ajax prayed to his favourite holy heavens and opened it.

’Huh?’

It was an old scroll with a spear symbol on it. Seeing that Ajax raised his brows as he picked the scroll from the box.

’Ding,

Detected a new heaven grade weapon technique. Do you want to learn it?

Soon, a system notification appeared in his head that made him excited.

Because weapon technique is so rare that even Edmond and Udo only have one or two weapon techniques.

So, he was excited; however, he didn’t learn it directly because he wanted to know what type of weapon technique it was.

”System, what type of weapon technique is it?”

With that thought in his mind, Ajax asked the system.

’Ding,

The scroll has a special seal that is preventing me from learning its name.

’Sigh...I think it was intentionally sealed that way from giving the scroll to others,’

Finally, Ajax understood that reward was for him to use on himself.

As long as someone is a cultivator, they would definitely use a weapon and So, they need to use it on themselves before knowing whether it was useful for them or not.

It will make the cultivator stop from being selling it away because what if it was a weapon technique that he could use for himself?

’System, I want to learn it,’

Since he needed some powerful weapon techniques, he decided to learn the technique because he uses two weapons. So, he had higher chances of getting a useful weapon technique.

’Ding,

The host needs to pay 1000 units of the essence of nature to learn it.

’Ding,

Do you still want to learn it? Yes / No?

’Such an essence grubber,’

Ajax shook his head and accepted it.

’Ding,

Deducted 1000  units of the essence of nature from the host’s spirit consciousness.

’Aargh’

As soon as he got the system notification, Ajax felt a sharp pain in his head that made him collapse to the ground and started groaning in pain.

...…

’Damn it...only 10 spirit stones,’

’This is the worst reward I have ever got,’

.

.

.

’Looks like the Elder Esmund is the most stingy one among all the vagrant cultivators

Soon, every participant in the battle tower checked their rewards and they were shocked at the rewards and bitterly shook their heads.
