New Age Of Summoners

To put it in simpler words, it was a test for Ajax whether he was an alchemy master or not.

As long as he was even a rank 1 alchemy master, he could tell the uses of a rank 2 herbs.

”Sure,”

When it comes to the information of pants below rank, Ajax could say them as long as he knew the plant’s name. So, he looked at the rank 2 plant behind the green sprite.

”Plant name, Knum. Rank 2 medicinal herb,”

With a glance, Ajax was able to tell the plant name and closed his eyes to search for the uses of that particular plant.

Ajax’s alchemy knowledge came from three things.

First one, he assimilated the alchemy king’s basic handbook which contained all the data of plants and herbs of rank 4 and below.

The second one, he also used Mason’s family pill book which contained all the techniques and other plant-related stuff in it.

Lastly, the system sent the knowledge of all the plants of rank 4 and below into his head.

So, as long as he calms his mind and searches through his memories, he could say almost anything about any plant.

”One, it can be used in the mind-calming pills,”

”Favourite food of rank 3 spirit beast, Tiger devils, which help them control their insanity to some extent,”

..

..

..

..

”Last and the most important use of this rank 2 Knum, is the direct consumption which will clear all the thoughts and at the same time help the cultivators to focus on one single thing,”

Soon, Ajax opened his eyes and in a single breath, he gave said all 10 uses of the plant.

”Correct...in fact, even I only know half of them”

The green sprite replied with a surprised tone in its voice before saying, ”You can take the plant.”

After finishing its words, the green sprite disappeared into thin air.

’Phew...it is easier than I thought,’

Seeing that, Ajax heaved a sigh of relief as he picked the plant from the ground and stored it in a special box to prevent the plant from dying.

Ajax had many of those special boxes in which the lightning hawk tribe had delivered him the various plants.

As long as the pants were stored in those boxes, they would be alive for a month.

Currently, Ajax wanted to store plants in them and after completion of trial, he could transfer the collected plants into his inner world.

’Getting a rank 2 plant is easy. I will look for a rank 3 and rank 4 plants,’

With each increment in the grade of the plants, the value of the plants also increased by a huge margin. So, Ajax decided to go for rank 3 and rank 4.

”Looks like he has a great talent in alchemy. I will take him as my personal disciple and make him a rank 5 alchemy master within 10 years,”

Even though Ajax thought the vagrant cultivators were unable to hear him from such a larger distance, he was wrong. They were able to hear his words very clearly.

So, after hearing his words and seeing his actions, Elder Ramon was excited as he hurriedly said to other vagrant cultivators.

”Haha...stop joking Ramon. Earlier, he clearly showed the talent in forging. So, why didn’t you agree to me back then?”

Elder Esmund was the first one to retort back to Elder Ramon as he brought the earlier words of Elder Ramon.

”He also has an affinity with my soul related techniques. So, how about I take him as my personal disciple?”

Soon, Elder Elek joined the words war among the vagrant cultivators.

”...”

Elder Sandra looked at them wanting to say something; however, she shook her head and looked at the guild master, the leader of the vagrant cultivators.

”Can you guys stop this child’s fight for a while and be serious?” The guild master was already feeling quite a headache because of their constant whispers and murmuring.

After seeing that Elder Sandra was also supportive of him, he shouted at them and asked them to stop fighting.

Hearing the guild master’s words, all of them became silent and looked at the guild master with embarrassed looks on their faces.

”As we discussed earlier, Ajax will be given a chance to choose any one of us as his master. So, please wait until then or just pick other participants as your person disciples,”

After they became silent, the guild master reminded them about their earlier discussion before looking back at the distant herb garden.

As for the other vagrant cultivators, they did the same thing and Elder Eagor didn’t bother about Ajax anymore as he searched for other participants to take them as his personal disciples.

’Sigh’

However, his luck was very bad that he was unable to find anyone that had talent in plant knowledge which made him sigh.

Nevertheless, he didn’t give up yet and continued to see the participants.

In the herb garden,

”Damn it, why are these green sprites asking us such tough questions?”

”I barely knew about this plant; however, the dark sprite guarding it asking me to give 10 uses of that plant,”

”At least, it is asking you its uses; however, for me, it is asking me into which plant it will evolve after rank 4,”

Unlike Ajax, they didn’t have much knowledge of plants which made them helpless in this trial.

Moreover, they could not use force to pick the plant because the green sprite would destroy the plant.

And if three rank 2 or two rank 3 or one rank 4 herb is destroyed, then they would be disqualified from the trial.

So, they didn’t take any risk and continued to move from one plant to another hoping one of the dark sprites might ask them a simple question.

”Yes...finally, I did it,”

Finally, after an hour or so, a female participant was able to gain a rank 2 herb and as soon as she did that she was unable to control her excitement and shouted out loud attracting the attention of everyone.

”Snow storm used to study about plants whenever she was tired of training,”

”Yes, finally, that thing helped her in this trial,”

It was none other than Snow storm, who had developed feelings for Ajax just a while ago.

However, her eight brothers and sister were not surprised by much because she had some knowledge about plants and herbs.

So, they congratulated her first before going back to their futile attempts of convincing the dark sprites to get plants or herbs from the herb garden.

”She is not bad...if she picks another two herbs, I will take her as my personal disciple,”

After seeing Snow storm pick a rank 2 herb from the ground, Elder Ramon informed other vagrant cultivators.

Even though Elder Ramon wanted to take some personal disciples, that doesn’t mean he could take anyone.

In his view, picking one rank 2 herb didn’t mean the participant had talent in alchemy. So, he wanted to see whether she could pick another two rank 2 herbs or not.

”Sure,”

When others heard Elder Ramon’s words, everyone nodded their heads and agreed.
