New Age Of Summoners

Outside the battle tower,

”Esmund, you are very generous with the special reward. Didn’t you say there is no good reward in the starting levels?”

”Right right...you casually rewarded with a heaven grade weapon technique just for the first level,”

”Tsk tsk...when did you become these generous, Stingy Esmund?”

All the vagrant cultivators asked Esmund when they saw Ajax’s special reward.

”Youngsters needs those types of rewards from time to time,”

Esmund revealed a slight smile as replied to them; however, inside his heart, he was cursing his own bad luck.

’How did I forget about it?’

He didn’t feel well when he thought about it because he thought he removed all the special rewards from the battle tower.

However, unexpectedly, he forgot to remove it.

’Let it be...I need to use this opportunity to make others fight their best,’

Without wasting any time pondering about the reward, Esmund took out a talisman from out of nowhere before saying, ”Ajax got a heaven grade weapon technique for being the first one to clear the level 1. So, try your best in the second level and get a special reward for yourselves.”

All the other vagrant cultivators felt something was not right when they heard Esmund word but they didn’t say anything.

….

In the battle tower,

”Ajax got a heaven grade weapon technique...…..”

Soon the female voice resounded in the various halls of the first level repeating the exact same words that Esmund had spoken into the talisman.

’What? He got a heaven grade weapon technique?’

’I got the measly 10 spirit stones,’

’I need to try my best in completing the second level,’

All the participants were shocked for a moment before becoming more competitive all of a sudden and thought to give their best in the second level.

...

’Aargh’

As for Ajax, his pain just came to an end before he got a system notification.

’Ding,

Learned a Heaven grade spear technique ’Mighty puncturing thrust’

’Phew...finally it’s over,’

Ajax heaved a sigh of relief as he looked at the complete information on the technique he had just learned.

’Ding,

Weapon technique name:- Mighty puncturing thrust

          Grade:- Heaven

Effect:- With a good spear, the attacking power of the user increases by three times.

’Good’

Ajax nodded his head and waited for the female voice to guide him to the next level.

’Looks like I am lucky,’

Ajax could not help but glance at the spear in his hands.

Earlier, he finished the armoured minotaur with the bloodlust spear. So, it was still in his hands and the technique he just learned is related to the spear. So, of course, he felt like he was lucky.

’Swoosh’

All of a sudden, some stairs appeared in front of him that was leading to the above floor.

’Let’s see what is the second level of the battle tower looks like,’

Ajax was curious about the second level because he also has a battle tower; however, he was still in the first level. So, he was wondering about the second level.

’As long as I see the guardians in the second level here, I might get a rough approximation of my own battle tower’s second level.’

While thinking that, he climbed to the second level of the battle tower.

”Kill all the raging steel bears”

As soon as he entered the second level, the familiar female voice resounded in the hall and just as she finished speaking, three raging steel bears were rushing at him.

’Let’s test my new spear technique,’

Since he had just learned a new spear technique, he wanted to test it on the three raging steel bears that were coming at him.

”Die”

’Swoosh’

With a loud shout, he used the knowledge he gained about the spear technique while keeping his left leg one step forward and thrust it at the first raging steel bear.

’Puchi’

’Boom’

Unlike the sword which would release a sword wave, the spear didn’t release any wave; instead, it directly pierced into the first raging steel bear and blasted into small pieces before disappearing into a cloud of black smoke.

’What? Puncturing means blasting away the body?’

Ajax was shocked when he saw it; however, he soon became even more excited.

”This technique is so cool,”

The more interesting thing about the skill is he didn’t even use his full strength. Just half of his full strength and the rank 5 beast blasted into pieces.

….

’What? He already learned the spear technique?’

’How is that possible?’

’Isn’t that a heaven grade weapon technique? How can he learn it within a few moments,’

All the vagrant cultivators were shocked when they saw Ajax kill the raging steel bear with a single strike by using the technique which he found a few moments ago.

No matter how much they wanted to refrain from watching the mirror screen that is showing Ajax’s battle, they were keeping an eye on him from time to time.

”Did you notice something? Earlier, after touching the scroll, he fell to the ground with his hands on the head. Maybe that powerful cultivator injected the knowledge about the technique into his head?”

All of a sudden, Esmund recalled something and said it to other vagrant cultivators.

”What? Forcefully injecting knowledge about a weapon technique? If it was like that Ajax would die for that,”

The guild master shook his head as he rejected that option instantly; however, after thinking for some time, he felt that might be too true.

When a cultivator becomes too powerful like reaching the king realm or above that realm, their comprehension speed would be very high.  Moreover, they could also inject their knowledge about the particular technique into others with some side effects.

However, other than side effects on the powerful cultivator, the one who was receiving the knowledge would die because they could not handle that much knowledge about some powerful techniques or other things.

”What if the powerful cultivator has something to reduce that death probability?”

Elder Esmund replied once more making all the vagrant cultivators into a dilemma.

”Let’s just stop thinking about it and help him. Since he is a good youngster, he would not forget our help and will definitely repay us,”

Soon, the guild master asked others to pry into Ajax’s secret and suggested that they would help him in his cultivation and later they asked for what they needed.

Even though it might look like they were selfish, it was a cultivation world. No one is kind enough to give things for free to others.

’Yes’

Everyone agreed with the guild master’s words.

…..

Inside the battle tower,

After killing the first raging steel bear, Ajax killed the other two steel bears using less than 50 percent.

’Looks like I need just 30 percent of my full-powered thrust to kill an early rank 5 spirit beast’

For the second beast, he used 40 percent and for the last bear, he only used 30 percent but still, he was able to kill the bear.

So, he finally came to the conclusion that he only needed 30 percent to kill an early rank 5 spirit beast before proceeding to the next hall through the door on his left.
