New Age Of Summoners

In the cursed abyss,

”When was the last we felt this excited, Edmond?”

Udo gasped for breath as he asked Edmond while taking out his huge axe from the body of the abyss devil.

”I think when we are still in the elite commander realm and just entered the middle-section of the cursed wilderness,”

Edmond placed his crystal sword on the ground and replied to Udo.

’Kacha’

As for Darbaudr, he crushed the heart of the last abyss devil.

The barbarian’s body was completely covered in the black blood of the abyss devils and on his face there was a mix of both tired and excited looks.

Just like Udo and Edmond, the fight was so satisfying for Darbaudr that he wished there were a few more abyss devils.

Around them, there were many corpses of the abyss devils lying on the ground.

”Anyway, let’s bring back these bodies with us as they could fetch us some good cultivation resources,”

Soon, Edmond stood up and asked others to collect the bodies while he did the same.

After more than 30 minutes, they were able to store all abyss devils’ bodies into their space rings before leaving that place.

One could understand how many abyss devils they have killed for the past six hours that even collecting all the bodies took them more than 30 minutes.

.....

”Damn it...didn’t Holor said there will be only one elite general realm cultivator and a general realm cultivator? Why did three elite general realm cultivators come here?”

In the distance, a red-coloured abscess devil looked at the departing silhouettes of Edmond and others and asked the black coloured abyss devil beside him.

Generally, all the abyss devils are black in colour except for some special abyss devils.

”My lord, we got the wrong information that cost us the lives of nearly a thousand general and elite general realm devils,”

The black coloured abyss devil clenched its fists when he saw the death of their devils.

”Ask Holor to come here. I want to discuss something with him,”

The red abyss devil sighed as he gave an order to the black abyss devil before disappearing into the mist of the cursed abyss.

”Sure, my dear king,”

The black abyss devil revealed a devilish smile as he acknowledged the order before disappearing into the mist.

...

In the Obsidian secret realm,

”Everyone, enter the battle tower at the same time,”

They entered Esmund’s secret realm without any problem and as soon as they entered it, they were taken to a tower-like building that had exactly five floors including the ground floor.

It was the battle tower that Esmund had mentioned earlier.

Moreover, they were not given any time before they were asked to enter the battle tower.

Without saying anything, they followed Esmund’s words and entered the battle tower.

”Welcome to Obsidian battle tower,”

The moment Ajax went into the tower, a female voice resounded in the room which welcomed him.

Ajax was not surprised because he knew it was the voice that would guide the participants in the battle tower.

”Hello”

Nevertheless, Ajax waved his hand and greeted back.

”The participant has to kill 1 rank 5 spirit beast, Raging steel bear to enter the next hall,”

The female voice directly said what he had to do before going silent.

’Roar’

Just as the female voice became silent, Ajax heard a loud roar and hurriedly turned back to see a huge brown coloured bear which was covered in armour that looked like silver.

”Come,”

Ajax revealed a slight smile before asking the raging bear to come at him.

’Roar’

’Thud’

’Thud’

When it saw Ajax’s attitude, the raging steel bear was angered and roared at him before rushing at him.

Even though the bear was huge, its speed was not bad and within a few moments, it reached him before slamming its huge bear paw at him.

”Absolute darkness,”

Ajax didn’t even move from his place as he used his most powerful skill.

From the moment his soul became stronger in the astral mountain, Ajax wanted to test this skill and after using it, Ajax was shocked by what he had seen.

’Roar’

’Swoosh’

As soon as he used the skill, the raging steel bear froze for a second and painfully roared before dispersing into black smoke.

”Powerful”

It was the only word to describe the skill because the rank 5 spirit beast is equal to the general realm and Ajax killed it with a single thought in a second.

Earlier, he killed the general realm demons with ’Absolute darkness’; however, they were not killed instantly and took a much longer time.

Moreover, he would feel tired and his thoughts would be in mess after using the skill.

’I am perfectly alright and there is not a single negative thought in my mind,’

Ajax felt excited after seeing how powerful his absolute darkness had become.

Until now, there was a small fear in him that he would become crazy if he used the skill more than 3 times in a row; however, after his soul became stronger, he was confident to use the absolute darkness food 5 times in a row without the fear of being turned into a crazy cultivator.

”Participant can go to next hall,”

Soon, the female voice resounded in the hall before a door appeared to his left side.

”Let’s see what kind of guardians were there in the other halls,”

Ajax relaxedly entered the next hall through the door.

”Kill three coloured python,”

As soon as he entered the next hall, the familiar female voice resounded in the hall and soon a  ’hiss’ sound could be heard by Ajax.

”Three coloured python? Elder Esmund has some good collections of the spirit beasts,”

Although the raging steel bear is a very common spirit beast, it was rare for the bear to have the strength of rank 5. As for the three coloured python, it was a rare beast; however, if searched in the cursed wilderness, cultivators could find it.

”Mountain splitting sword technique,”

He wanted to save the absolute darkness to the next levels. Since he was still in level 1 of the battle tower, he wanted to test his other techniques which consume almost no essence of nature.

’Swoosh’

After seeing the three coloured python, Ajax took out his inheritance sword before using the only sword technique he learned.

A 2 meters long sword wave was created in the mid-air and rushed towards the three-coloured python into two before it dispersed into a three coloured smoke just like the raging steel bear.

’Too easy’

Ajax waited for the female voice to announce the result and the door to the next hall too appeared.

”Participant is allowed to enter the next hall,”

He didn’t wait for much longer before a door appeared in the wall in front of him.

….

”They were faster,”

Outside the battle tower, all the vagrant cultivators were watching the fighting happening inside the battle tower in the various mirror screens and muttered to themselves.

Not only Ajax, but there were also others who were able to clear the hall in a single move before proceeding to move to the next hall.

Seeing that, they were very satisfied and continued to watch the fights in the mirror screens.
