New Age Of Summoners

As for the trial, the remaining twelve participants were trying their best to get that good reward that Elder Seward had mentioned.

Currently, almost all the participants had reached the top of the huge tree and stood on a flat branch.

The end of the branch was connected to the peak of a mountain with green vines like a bridge.

’Can that vine carry me?’

’I think, even a small mistake will cost our life,’

’I think, the six vagrant cultivators will save us but we can never be sure,’

Even though they could see the vines, all the participants were hesitating to use them to reach the bridge.

When they saw those vines before climbing the huge tree, they thought they were strong enough to carry them; however, now, they were feeling they would not withstand their weight.

’I will try it,’

Soon, Moon shadow came forward to use the vine to reach the mountain that made all other male cultivators awkward.

Because they felt a female is trying without any fear and they were still hesitating whether to cross or not.

’I will do it,’

’Yes,’

’Vagrant cultivators will not let us die as simple as that, right?’

After seeing Moon shadow’s courage, all the other participants decided to continue the trial.

’Huh?’

This vine is stronger than I thought,

Once they held the vine, they were shocked at the vine’s stiffness and soon, they felt excited and started increasing the speed.

With a wooden statue in their hands, they continued to move forward.

’I need to get the reward,’

’I am ahead of others. So, I will be definitely getting that reward,’

All the young cultivators thought the same that they were ahead of others.

”Huh? Why are they just hanging on the vine instead of moving forward?”

However, from Ajax’s perspective, all the young cultivators were just at the starting of the vine without moving forward which made him ask Edmond.

’Yes, why are they not moving?’

Even Edmond also frowned at the actions of the young cultivators as he carefully observed what was happening to them.

”Illusion inducing green snakes”

All of a sudden, Edmond muttered with a shocked expression.

’Huh?’

Ajax focused and searched for the snake on them and soon he found small green coloured snakes on the wooden statues which were slithering at the participants.

”Huh? Where are they?”

However, Snow storm was unable to see the snakes as her senses were not powerful enough to see such a small snake from such a distance.

”You need at least a general realm cultivator’s senses to that snake,”

Edmond replied to her as he continued to explain, ”It is a rare species that had gone extinct in the Zrochester province in the last 100 years. I didn’t expect Elder Ramon had them in his secret realm.”

Illusion inducing snakes as the name suggests they release some poison that makes others fall into a deep illusion.

’System, show me the full information on this illusion inducing snake,’

While Edmond was saying something to Snow storm, Ajax tried to know more about those snakes with that intention, he asked the system to help him.

’Ding,

Need to pay 1000 units of the essence of energy to know about it. Do you want to know about it?

”Yes”

Ajax was not surprised that the system asked for his essence of energy because he was very far away from the system to know more about it. So, he had to use the ’Pay to Know’ system feature.

And 1000 units of the essence of nature was not much for him these days. So, he nodded his head to know about the snake.

’Ding,

1000 units of the essence of nature are deducted.

’Ding,

Spirit beast name:- Illusion inducing snake

 Strength:- Rank 4

Speciality:- can induce an illusion to anyone when they are not focused on it. Depending on the strength of the cultivators, they will stay in those illusions.

”So, what will happen to them? Will the vagrant cultivators continue to watch them become crazy?”

While Ajax was using the system to know more about it, Snow storm slowly asked Edmond.

”Actually, compared to strength, as long as their will is strong enough, they could come out of the illusion soon,”

Edmond was not worried much as he knew some information about those snakes which he said to his adopted daughter.

”Oh”

Snow storm nodded her head and continued to observe them and from time to time she glanced at Ajax.

’Ramon, your illusion inducing snakes are very nice. Why don’t you give me one or two? I will take good care of it,’

’Yes, Ramon. Even though it doesn’t have much battle prowess, once it reached the rank 6 realm, it could even induce illusion to a peak elite general realm cultivator,’

Except for the guild master and Sandra, the remaining vagrant cultivators asked Ramon to gift them an illusion inducing snake.

’In your dreams? I have to use half of my resources for their growth and according to me only one of them will reach rank 6 and I don’t know which one from all the 100 snakes I currently have in my secret realm,’

After hearing their words, Elder Ramon revealed a bitter look on his face as he replied to them.

Ramon is titled with the Eternal Nurturer for a reason. He had various techniques to nurture any plant or spirit beasts.

In his secret realm, he had a variety of plants, trees, herbs and spirit beasts.

Moreover, back in the days, in the entire Zrochester province, Ramon was known as the most knowledgable person about plants and spirit beasts.

So, among all the six vagrant cultivator’s secret realms, Ramon’s secret realm, the Eternal garden was the most valuable one.

’Fine; however after you get one rank 6 illusion inducing snake, give each of us a snake. Don’t worry, in return, we will give you something,’

Seward, Elek and Esmund, all know about Ramon’s way of thinking. So, they decided to give something in return for the snake and even that only after one of the snakes reached rank 6.

’Of course,’

Ramon nodded his head with a hearty smile on his face and looked at the participants.

’Look, some came out of the illusion,’

All of a sudden, Ramon looked at the participant that came out of the illusion and asked others to see it.

”What is this short cultivator’s name?”

Except for Ajax, Levi, Paulin, Lewis and Jeff, they didn’t know the names of other cultivators. So, Elder Seward asked about his name.

”His name is Dark flame,”

Edmond replied to Elder Seward with a smile on his face.

”Not bad, not bad,”

Elder Seward nodded his head and didn’t say anything more while continuing to watch the participants.

Soon, one cultivator after another came out of the illusion which made Elder Seward and others shocked as they didn’t expect these young cultivators to have such strong will power.

’Looks like we will going to take all of them as our disciples,’

Nevertheless, Elder Seward and others soon recovered from their shock and Elder Seward jokingly said that his inner thoughts about the young cultivators to the other vagrant cultivators.
