New Age Of Summoners

It’s been a while since he last got a special reward box. So, how could he leave it in the middle just like that?

So, he wanted to open it before going out to meet the vagrant cultivators.

’System, open the special reward box,’

After closing the door, he didn’t waste any time before ordering the system to open the special reward box.

’Ding,

A special reward box is opened.

’Ding,

A special item ’Summon crystal’ is found in the special reward box.

’Ding,

The special item will be sent to the host’s inventory within a few moments.

All of a sudden, three system notifications rang in his head.

’Huh? A Summon crystal?’

This was the first time Ajax was hearing about such an item. So, he waited for the item to be sent to his inventory. So that he could see what it was.

’Come fast...come fast,’

Ajax was in a hurry because he was making Levi wait outside his room. So, he repeated the same words again and again.

’Phew’

It didn’t take much time. Within a couple of seconds, the item was in his inventory as he took it out from the inventory before appraising it.

’Ding,

  Item name:- Summon crystal (Consumable)

Effect:- Can form an unofficial contract with an elemental spirit.

Note:- 1) Can’t be used by a summoner.

  2) Can only form a contract with one elemental spirit.

  3) If the user fails in forming a contract, then the crystal will be destroyed.

Item details:- An item usually found in greater worlds and can be used by a non-summoner to form an unofficial contract with an elemental spirit.

More details:- When used, the crystal will be integrated into the body of the user and at the same time, his spirit consciousness will be entered into the elemental spirit world to form a contract with an elemental spirit. Later, a small space will be formed similar to spirit consciousness inside the user’s body; however, it is only used for storing the elemental spirit they had formed a contract with.

’Woah’

Soon, the complete details of the ’Summon crystal’ appeared in front of Ajax that made him reveal a surprised look.

’This is really a valuable thing in this province,’

Ajax silently muttered in his head.

With the help of this summon crystal, one could own an elemental spirit and have a powerful ally on his side.

Moreover, compared to other provinces, the Zrochester province had the least number of summoners. So, it would be a huge help for non-summoner cultivators.

’But, I wonder, why can this thing be only found in a greater world?’

Currently, Ajax was living in a lesser world and except for the name, no one knows about the greater world.

However, there were some stories that from time to time, someone would ascend to a greater world.

’I wonder, where they would be going and what a greater world looks like?’

Ajax didn’t have the slightest clue about the greater worlds.

Even Elder Boron said he didn’t know anything about it. So, he could not do anything about it.

’Knock knock’

’Ajax, hurry up. We need to go now,’

While Ajax was thinking about the greater world and other stuff, Levi tapped on the door as he asked Ajax to hurry up.

”Coming,”

Ajax had completed what he wanted to do. So, without wasting any time, he directly went out and along with Levi, they both went to meet the vagrant cultivators.

Outside the mercenary guild, it was very crowded as it was filled with various mercenaries and cultivators.

Not only the regular cultivators, but the disciples of the top three sects along with the members of the five great families also attended the event to see the faces of the personal disciples of the six vagrant cultivators.

Soon, the vagrant cultivators along with their personal disciples showed up and climbed the stage before sitting on the chairs that were already arranged.

In the front row six vagrant cultivators and behind them, their disciples were all seated.

’Let’s announce then,’

In the next second, Rulf became the host of the event as he started the event.

”We all know who these six cultivators are; however,  most of them thought they were dead because of their sudden disappearance,”

Rulf looked at the crown below the stage as he continued, ”But they were busy on some mission regarding their cultivation.”

”Anyway, let me introduce them once again as there were many young cultivators and mercenaries gathered here to see them.”

”Elder Elek is also known as ’The Soul handler’,”

”The Veiled Matriarch, Madam Sandra,”

.

.

..

Soon, Rulf started introducing the six vagrant cultivators while pointing his hand at them.

…...

”Finally, I was able to see the legendary characters of the Zrochester province,”

”One day, I should become like that. Without any help from others, I will rise to the top of the Zrochester province with my own hard work,”

”Slap”

”Idiot. Only hard work is not enough to reach a peak. There should be luck too; otherwise, no matter how much you work hard, you will be trampled by others,”

...

”I wonder, can I become their personal disciple like them?”

”Dream on. With your habit of chasing after every beautiful woman you see, you will never become a good cultivator much less a peak level powerhouse,”

…..

”I should defeat those personal disciples in the champions contest,”

”Me too. I will defeat them and prove them that they were nothing,”

...

Just like that many types of conversations started happening in front of the stage.

The reason the vagrant cultivators were famous was that they reached their current level of cultivation on their own without the support and any powerful sect or family.

In fact, they were even hunted down by some of the powers of the Zrochester province for rejecting the recruitment into their sect or family.

Despite all of that, with their hard work along with the little amount of luck, they were able to grow to the stage where the powers that hunted them back then, were no longer acting haughty in front of them.

”So, our Elder Elek had chosen Lewis and Jeff as his personal disciples,”

”As for Madam Sandra, she picked Moon shadow and Bright shadow,”

.

.

..

….

”Finally, as for our legendary guild master, he had chosen three disciples named Justice, Paulin and Heavenly raven,”

Rulf introduced one disciple after another according to the vagrant cultivator.

Soon, he introduced everyone except for Ajax, who was not even present on the stage.

”Congratulations”

As soon as Rulf finished his speech, everyone congratulated the young cultivator behind the vagrant cultivators.

…...

In the depths of the cursed wilderness,

’This is it,’

The forest fairy king looked at the incoming bald old man and closed his eyes as though he finally wanted to have some rest.

’Swoosh’

”Boom”

Just when the old man was about to slash his nails through Geron’s neck, that old man felt a bad premonition in his heart as he directly jumped backwards without attacking Geron.

’Who?’

The old man felt a great sense of danger in his heart just a few seconds ago and hurriedly looked in the direction from which the attack came from.

However, just as he glanced in that direction, he was shocked.
