Beating Instances through Words Left by the Dead

Chapter 446: Chapter 233: Can’t Beat It? Time to Call for Backup (Part 3)

The Divine Strength Farrell possessed was in no way inferior to the Sea God Cui Chengze of the Silent Route.

Cui Chengze existed for a long time, with deep foundations, but Farrell’s abilities were more bizarre and had greater lethality.

If the two fought, it was hard to say who would prevail.

Not counting Leman and Kristen summoned by the Earthly Divine Kingdom, Cui Chengze was already the top combat force in the Silent Route, but in the Hymn Company Plane, Farrell was at most considered a minor BOSS, perhaps even just an elite monster.

Something’s wrong! The difficulty of the Hymn Company dungeon is definitely off!

He previously mentioned why the administrator was so kind to arrange for him a not-so-difficult dungeon. Was it an attempt at reconciliation?

It seemed he was overthinking it.

What the administrator did for him, as expected, was only to increase the pressure.

Before long, all things shrouded in gray mist were completely plunged into ”death,” including the land.

The ground, under the corrosion of the gray mist, turned into fine dust, scattering with the wind.

As the dust cleared, it revealed a massive crater in the ground; from it, the flesh-and-blood Fly transformed from Farrell flew out.

At the top of his large deformed head, three sharp lumps stood, resembling a crown from afar.

The code name for Farrell’s Disqualified Monster transformation had to be the Fly King.

As the Fly King fully transformed and flew out from underground, Fei Guang, Yomist, and Chiba arrived at the scene right in time.

They used all their might to barely pass through the domain of deadly gray mist and reach the center of the mist.

Yet, what appeared before them was not Booker and his group, but a grotesque Fly King.

Fei Guang and the others froze on the spot, what’s going on, is the dungeon’s final boss randomly refreshed on the map?

The three of them looked at the Fly King, chuckled dryly, ”Sorry, we’ve got the wrong guy.”

After saying it, they started to retreat, wanting to leave.

Easy to come in, not so easy to leave.

To pass through the gray mist, the three had exerted a large amount of energy to counteract it, and the massive energy reaction had already caught the Fly King’s attention.

With the Fly King newly born, and no specialized transport box to absorb from, it found itself in a state of hunger; suddenly appearing were three high-energy humans, a gourmet feast it couldn’t possibly miss.

The Fly King flapped its wings directly, appearing in front of the three almost instantaneously, its speed so fast that it left Yomist and Chiba unable to react.

Luckily, Fei Guang was an Agility-specialized player; after activating his profession skills, he moved faster than the Fly King, managed to kick it away right before it could snatch Chiba with its emaciated limbs.

Fei Guang did not have the habit of holding back; he always made a deadly move. Last time, just one move severely injured Veronica; against an ordinary Level 30 player, one hit would be enough to kill them on the spot.

However, such a powerful attack seemed harmless against the Fly King.

The Fly King was only knocked back seven or eight meters when it flapped its wings to stop mid-air, without even leaving a mark where it was hit.

Seeing this, Chiba hurriedly scattered a handful of seeds, colorful poisonous plants forming an arc-shaped wall to shield in front of the three.

The plants summoned by Chiba had extreme toxicity in each blossom, with various negative statuses; more importantly, the toxins on these plants were akin to Soul Poison, ignoring the target’s form to inflict poisonous harm.

In usual circumstances, even if an instance BOSS attacked this wall, it would lose a layer of skin under hundreds of toxins.

Yet the Fly King was indifferent, seeing only numerous life force-rich living creatures in its eyes.

It leapt forward, heedless of the toxins, tearing at the plant wall with its large jaws.

Where the plants were bitten off, purple, black, and yellow poison oozed out; when it dripped on the ground, a hissing corrosive sound was heard, yet the Fly King showed no discomfort in consuming it.

As it gnawed and corroded with gray mist, the plant wall was devoured in the blink of an eye.

However, the time gained by the plant barrier was enough for Yomist to infiltrate behind the Fly King, stabbing fiercely at its body with the Foggy Dagger in hand.

It was with this move that he repeatedly pierced through Booker and Colton’s kidneys.

The body that Fei Guang couldn’t penetrate was easily pierced by the Foggy Dagger; just as Yomist flashed a ”got it” expression, ready to inject energy along the dagger to enlarge the wound.

He saw a surge of dark gray pus gushing from the wound he made, sensing danger, Yomist blinked and retreated, but still got much of it sprayed on him.

This pus was gray mist concentrated to an extreme, with divinity; it directly ignored Yomist’s misty form that could evade attacks, splashing onto his body.

”Ah! My eyes!”

Being splashed by the gray pus was like having a bucket of concentrated sulfuric acid poured on, but the gray pus was far from being as mild as sulfuric acid; it would corrode flesh and continuously sap the vitality of the contactor.

Within merely a few seconds, Yomist’s face covered in the gray pus aged at least thirty years; it was a good thing Fei Guang arrived in time, making him drink a special potion, temporarily suppressing the gray pus’s damage.

Looking at the Fly King flying above, Fei Guang and the others knew this BOSS before them, they couldn’t defeat.

Even if they used all their trump cards, they couldn’t win.

Fei Guang took out a contract from his personal space; in that case, he had no choice but to call for backup.
