Beating Instances through Words Left by the Dead

Chapter 407: Chapter 220: Department Manager Sean

Currently, the Iron Armor Corps holds an absolute advantage in the replica. Whatever mainline missions or replica clearings are not important; leaving alive is most important.

If the wounds are not healed and they act rashly, once discovered by the other side, it will surely be a disaster.

Just as the three of them were each preoccupied, trying hard to adjust their status, someone suddenly crawled out from under the bridge hole.

”You seem to need help.”

The three of them looked at the guy who suddenly appeared. They remembered this guy; he was the stealthiest. Before the Iron Armor Corps members could speak, he hid himself as soon as they entered the replica.

When breaking through later, this guy also slipped away quietly while they attracted attention.

They had no good impression of this kind of stealth player.

Starting a fight with one teammate short is pointless.

Booker said sarcastically with a cold face, ”Yo, isn’t this our invisible man? You hid so thoroughly, I thought you didn’t need anyone else.”

Wu Chang shrugged and said, ”I can find a way to help you become Hymn Company employees, maybe even help heal your wounds.”

Booker’s expression changed quickly like someone skilled in face-changing, ”Welcome to join us, my friend. What I said just now was not malicious, believe me, when I was in high school, watching Sakura Island movies, the superpower I wanted most was invisibility.”

Wu Chang said, ”Then I guess your dream profession must have been plumbing repairman.”

After contacting Booker and the others, Wu Chang shifted most of his attention back to the main point.

When he said he could get Booker and the others a Hymn Company employee identity, it wasn’t an empty promise.

He glanced at the nameplate on the desk.

”Automatic Defense Systems Department Manager—Sean.”

Coincidentally, the identity obtained through True Walker was also named Sean, and he was a department manager.

The employee ranking in Hymn Company, from low to high, ranges from Level One to Level Nine.

Levels One to Three are regular employees, the positions where players join Hymn Company.

Levels Four to Six are bronze, silver, and gold medal employees, respectively. Employees of this level are the backbone of the company.

Levels Seven and Eight are management, responsible for sales and operations of various departments.

All employees from Levels One to Eight, from the moment they join Hymn Company, share a common dream.

That is to reach Level Nine and enter the board as a partner.

This is not an unrealistic dream; the only assessment criterion in Hymn Company is performance.

As long as your performance is good enough, you can continue to get promoted.

If the performance is good enough, you can possess all the power the position holds, and you can do as you please.

Hymn Company is a high-tech arms company, not high-tech and arms, purely an arms company.

Automatic Defense Systems are Hymn Company’s key business, and as the department manager, Wu Chang starts as a Level Eight employee.

Under normal circumstances, hiring a few employees is just a matter of a few words to him.

However, there is indeed an exception now, that being this department manager; his current performance ranks lowest among all Level Eight employees.

If there’s no improvement soon, he will face a demotion notice.

His current status at Hymn Company is referred to as an observation period, during which he can work normally but cannot randomly place staff.

Whether for his Level Eight employee status or for those three useful tools in Booker, what he needs to do now is to improve performance and safeguard his status.

Just as he was contemplating his course of action, his secretary knocked on the door and came in, informing him that the chairman asked him to come to the office.
