Beating Instances through Words Left by the Dead

Chapter 191: Chapter 151: Falling Moon_4

The followers watched Erin slowly kneeling down, chanting the prayers of the Soul Light Church aloud.

The good deeds he did were rewarded by that Evil God Leman; Wu Chang would never engage in such a losing deal.

Erin slowly spoke, with a voice that carried its own reverb: ”I am not from the Soul Light Sect.”

As soon as these words were spoken, the followers were instantly dumbfounded. What to do if they’ve been worshipping incorrectly and have incurred the wrath of the God? Waiting online, very urgent.

The followers looked at each other, but none of the churches came forward to claim this wild deity, and without verifying her identity, they didn’t know which sect’s prayers to use.

The priests had never taught them how to handle such a situation, leaving the followers frozen in place.

Erin, however, seemed unaware of their predicament, and flapped her wings, flying to the observation deck, floating behind Wu Chang.

Not revealing the God’s name was a deliberate act by Wu Chang.

What God would willingly announce themselves? That would seem so low-class.

Is a God establishing a sect expected to say to ordinary people, ”I am the newly-promoted deity XXX, currently striving for achievements and seizing faith, support me by hitting the follow button, a like, comment, and share, and join the fan club to become an old fan of the deity, supporting the growth of a new deity”?

Clearly not.

Want to know the God’s true name, the sect they represent?

Go ahead and guess, no, go and perceive!

There are hundreds of various religions in Sirena, and each can receive divine inspiration towards a fabricated deity, this is the perfect time to test their business prowess.

The God’s name, the religion’s name, all the prayers and scriptures can all be made up by them, as long as the Power of Faith is later delivered to Erin.

Wu Chang took out the Loud Horn and blew it hard, and the enormous horn sound instantly brought the entire congregation back to reality, leaving them no time to ponder Erin’s identity, as their gazes turned simultaneously toward Wu Chang.

Wu Chang nodded in satisfaction, put away the Loud Horn, and shouted to those below:

”Fellow followers, the goddess and I come from a distant foreign land, passing through here, we happened upon the calamity occurring tonight. The goddess, in her mercy for the people, has brought forth a miracle to help Sirena overcome the crisis of the Bloody Moon.”

”Now, please join me in wishing for everything relating to the Blood Moon to come to an end and for Sirena to return to peace!”

With the goddess’s endorsement, even though people didn’t know which scion Wu Chang was on the observation deck, they obediently followed Wu Chang in reciting their wishes.

Being of the same Miracle Walker race, the mechanism of the Miracle Moon operates the same way as the Great Miracle. As the chanting grew louder and their beliefs more devout, the Wish Power in the air gradually took on the shape of Wu Chang.

Feeling the enormous Wish Power above the crowd, Wu Chang felt a moment of regret.

He had indeed considered whether to use the name of a miracle to claim this mass of Wish Power as his own.

The Sirena folk, capable of pursuing even an apparition with misguided fervor, would probably commit their souls without hesitation upon witnessing Erin reveal her True Divine Body.

Using their faith to casually wish for Erin’s Divine Power to increase dramatically, to level up again, or to enhance Wu Chang’s Attribute and Item, would be incredibly easy.

Under the cover of a Wish Power sufficient to trigger a miracle, it might become reality.

The idea was appealing, but executing it would be too risky.

Wu Chang had seen the grievances of the Miracle Moon before and knew its consciousness had died along with Mikhail I’s plan; what was left was merely an ill-intentioned instinct towards humanity.

Wishing upon the Miracle Moon in such a Status would lead the wish to become distorted, like those transformed into monsters in the Blood Moon Eternal Life, which was a bloody example.

Using such Energy to transform him or Erin would be no different than soaking in nuclear waste, hoping to mutate into a Superhero.

Another possibility was that through the nurturement and care of a Fire Master, by leveraging the Tree of Miracles and a miracle, the Miracle Moon could be revived, its consciousness awakened.

In that case, wishing might even become more dangerous, as draining Yifu City with a Grand Miracle is an example.

Unless a Miracle Walker’s Relic, namely the Stone of Miracles, emerges after death, Wu Chang did not want much contact with such Power.

Rather than getting entangled with such bizarre ability, bringing endless trouble, it’s better to grant this fortune to the present followers.

This is their lifelong pursuit of a miracle, and since the miracle is also intended to resolve the crisis of their Plane, they should have no dissatisfaction.

As followers repeatedly chanted their wishes, the miracle responded to their requests.

In the sky, the red Blood Moon began receding visibly, scattering, the deathly and ominous blood-red moonlight retracted into the moon as if in reverse motion.

Within a few breaths, Sirena restored its usual appearance.

The disappearance of the Blood Moon caused the living corpses to lose their Spring of Power, reverting to decayed corpses, scattering on the ground.

The life-threatening crisis moments ago was dissolved instantly under the Power of the Miracle.

People gazed at the serene, bright full moon, feeling a surreal sense as if everything that happened tonight was just a dream.

Wait a second.

Everyone widened their eyes and looked toward the sky; how was the moon getting bigger?

Soon, people realized it wasn’t the moon that was growing bigger; it was plummeting toward the ground!
