Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 270: Chapter 269: Good Reminder—Time to Silence You

”As you command.”

With the order received, Shaina appeared before Tesoro in an instant, delivering a sweeping kick that sent the two suppressors of Tesoro flying aside. Without the need for fire or skills, even pure leg strength was unbearable for them.

Shaina kicked directly at their heads, and the tremendous impact exceeded the limits of their necks’ endurance. In mid-air, their necks twisted into a pretzel, making it apparent they were beyond saving.

At the same time, she grabbed the boss of the human trafficking market. Though she was only over three meters tall, appearing petite compared to King, she was still a giant to this ordinary boss.

”What... what are you going to do!”

Shaina didn’t speak, simply took a bunch of keys from his waist, and then threw him out as well. Tesoro still had an explosive collar around his neck, so things must be dealt with thoroughly, not just following orders.

Since Arceus’s order was to bring Tesoro back, handling matters such as the keys was necessary.

Afterwards, she lifted Tesoro and placed him back on the ground. He had been beaten so badly that he seemed incapable of unlocking it himself, while Yamato held the keys, trying them one by one.

”Stella... please, help me get Stella out too....”

Speaking tugged at the wound on his face; those people hadn’t held back. He was just an ordinary man, so such things naturally didn’t warrant concern.

”I’m begging you, I’ll do anything....”

He raised his hand with great effort to grab Yamato’s wrist. The recent ordeal had taught him one thing—money alone is useless. Without the power to protect that wealth, he was just a lamb waiting to be slaughtered in others’ hands.

Power, strength, money—only by embodying all these can one do what they want in this world.

”Alright, I promise you, but you’ll have to work for us in the future.”

This was Yamato’s nature; unlike Kaidou, whose actions were filled with recklessness yet mindful of interests, Yamato believed doing this was right. She agreed to Tesoro’s request simply by following her heart, without considering her own interests.

She had no idea about Tesoro’s life trajectory; from her perspective, she would at most gain the gratitude of two ordinary people.

The last remark was a result of Arceus’s teachings. There’s too much unfairness in this world; wanting to meddle in everything is impossible, so she’d been taught to consider other aspects.

”Godfather, is this okay?”

”Of course, but you’ll need to gradually increase your training intensity. Not to mention reaching your father’s level, at least aim for Mandfeish’s level, so you won’t always rely on others.”

Shaina overheard this conversation and immediately headed towards Stella. She was imprisoned in an ordinary iron cage, sufficient to confine a normal person but useless against someone like Shaina.

She bent a wrist-thick bar, and the human trafficking market boss’s frightened voice emerged.

”Stop! That woman is goods reserved for the Heavenly Celestial Dragon. Are you courting death?”

His subordinates were sent flying with a kick, and he was thrown out; this happening to him made him extremely angry, but he soon calmed down.

He knew exactly how hated his business was, so his two bodyguards were very skilled—even pirates with bounties of tens of millions couldn’t defeat them. Whoever could send them flying with a kick must not be simple.

The most important thing in his line of work was understanding who could be messed with and who couldn’t.

The Great Pirate Era had given rise to more and more powerful individuals, yet there were only so many with bounties exceeding a billion, each with distinctive features, like Arceus’s appearance.

He hadn’t noticed at first, but once thrown out, he immediately recalled their identities. The billion-bounty cadres Shaina and Olga’s identities surfaced in his mind.

He could never have imagined that Tesoro had connections with such people—these were individuals he couldn’t afford to offend.

”You can do as you please with the man; I’ll pay you back double, but the woman is off-limits!”

If the Heavenly Celestial Dragons arrived and found their goods missing, his fate would be dire—likely turned into a slave himself.

His obstruction was naturally ineffective. Shaina was merely carrying out Arceus’s orders, not to be swayed by such interference.

”Aren’t you afraid of inciting the Heavenly Celestial Dragons’ retaliation?”

This did make Shaina pause momentarily, then she cut through the bars with her hand, holding a rod-like spear.

”You talk a lot, but you got one thing right—those pests, the Heavenly Celestial Dragons, bring lots of trouble.”

”P-pests?! How dare you say that!”

”Why wouldn’t I? Sooner or later, I’ll crush those scum.” The Lunarians Race once lived on the Red Earth Continent, and the Heavenly Celestial Dragons were their enemies. She certainly held no reverence for them.

At this point, the human trafficking market boss suddenly realized something. These people found the Heavenly Celestial Dragons troublesome yet loathed them while doing things to provoke them.

If they wished to avoid bringing trouble upon themselves, the best way was that no one knew about this, and besides them, only he knew.

”Wai— ”

”Whoosh!”

Before he could say anything, Shaina weighed the bar in her hand and threw it towards him. With flames attached, the pointed ”spearhead” impaled him directly.

”If all of you here die, no one will know what really happened, right?”

This was a lawless area; deaths here were commonplace.

Even if the ordinary members wore the Hundred Beasts Pirates’ mark, they still encountered plenty of minor troubles on their way here. There were always newcomers eager to challenge the powers in the New World.

”Lord Sacred Beast, please proceed to the auction; we’ll handle things here.”

After releasing Stella, Shaina showed no intention of leaving. Finishing up didn’t just mean silencing people. Eliminating witnesses wasn’t enough, as the connections behind this human trafficking market were complex.

Clearing traces, creating chaos—there was much left to handle. Olga was also left behind, as her illusion abilities would be beneficial.

Soon after Arceus and the others left, the human trafficking market was set ablaze with roaring flames....
