Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 268: Chapter 267: Let the Bullets Fly

It’s not that Galvantula is ugly, but all Spider-Spider Fruit users look this way. She’s still a pretty girl, though in the Navy, when Onigumo uses his Fruit Ability, his appearance becomes even more grotesque.

He uses Life Return to manipulate his hair into six hands, which is closely related to his Fruit Ability, as it’s his habitual fighting posture.

Queen’s potion still hasn’t taken effect, but now when she transforms, her face doesn’t change anymore, making her barely able to accept this form.

”That girl is a Fruit Ability user!”

There aren’t any strong individuals among the human traffickers. The Fruit Ability already poses a lethal threat to them. After being hit by electrified webs and fluff, the human traffickers fell one after another, screaming in agony.

However, Maria is still not familiar enough with her ability. Her Galvantula’s level is very low, so the electric current she releases isn’t strong enough. Although the people became paralyzed, they hadn’t lost consciousness.

But that’s not a good thing — the electrified web keeps discharging electricity constantly. Those trapped inside the web have no way to resist; they can only sit and take a beating.

”Maria’s Electric Fist!”

With electricity flickering around her fist, mixed with her resentment, she unleashed her attack, once again adopting this form.

At the same time, a human trafficker rushed towards Robin. He wasn’t hit over the head, wasn’t caught by the electric web, and wasn’t dragged into the water, but he did get a faceful of cream.

The cream released from the palms of the Alcremie can be sprayed out like whipped cream. The trafficker never expected the doll-like Alcremie could do that, and then, a sharp pain struck him from below.

Two hands grew from beneath his legs, wildly pounding his crotch.

The cream splashing into his eyes caused them to sting sharply, and with his crotch also taking a heavy hit, he was confused about whether to cover up or down. He ended up rolling around in pain in front of Robin and eventually passed out.

Tesoro, who finally defeated his opponent, just got up and looked at the scene before him, questioning his life. He felt like his nineteen years were almost wasted.

”So strong...”

The leader of the slave traders was very shocked by the scene before him. More than ten strong adults were defeated by a few kids, and there were two Fruit Ability users among them as well, which was a big surprise to him, but not enough to scare him.

Because he had a backup plan. These dozen people were just part of their group; he thought they were enough to catch a few kids. Most people were on the lookout for other threats.

In his eyes, this was a fat piece of meat. To prevent other traffickers from eyeing them, his people who excel at fighting were posted at crucial points on guard.

”Great, great, two Fruit Ability users. Now, they can be sold for a higher price. Everyone, get out here! Capture them at all costs! It’s okay if they’re hurt!”

These people were either unarmed or holding ropes and such, while those on guard had deadly weapons.

If they were just ordinary children, his goal would be to capture them intact, but Yamato and the others had demonstrated that this was simply impossible.

He thought once he gave the order, his subordinates would step out, but the surroundings remained silent as if nothing had happened.

”What’s going on? Is there anybody left? Hurry and call them out.”

”....”

The leader of the human traffickers didn’t know what to say; he wasn’t joking with his subordinates. While he was puzzled, several people were thrown at his feet.

From the shadows, a lizard emerged; it was Elizabeth, who had been following Yamato and the others. Even just a humanoid lizard was fine, but on Elizabeth’s long tail, skewered like candied fruits, hung three people.

In the dark of night, her blood-stained face was like an alien, and the long tail dragging heavy objects made a rustling sound on the ground, like a death knell for the leader of the traffickers.

Those people, seeing the situation here wasn’t right earlier, had wanted to attack, but Elizabeth had been there to prevent this from happening.

The traffickers could still fight back against Yamato and the others, but against Elizabeth, it was a one-sided massacre.

Then Elizabeth swung her long tail, and those people were thrown in front of the traffickers’ leader.

”Miss Yamato, Lord Arceus said you should head back and wash up for bed; I’ll take care of things here.”

A few human traffickers were hardly more important than Yamato and the others sticking to their bedtime schedule for Arceus. What needed to be done was done, so there was no need to waste any more time.

So, Elizabeth directly stepped up after receiving the order and even took the opportunity to fish Jack out of the water. Though pushing the enemy into the water was a good tactic, he hadn’t considered the terrain.

So after dealing with his enemy, he still couldn’t get back up.

”Come on, godfather was still watching from the sidelines all along, huh. Hey, big brother, remember to redeem Sister Stella, okay, and remember to pay back the money. See you later.”

Hearing Elizabeth say this, Yamato didn’t insist on continuing the fight and, along with Maria and the others, walked towards the Origin, reminding Tesoro of a few things before leaving.

The experience today was somewhat surreal for Tesoro, and he didn’t react until Elizabeth called him.

”You should leave; I won’t be responsible for your safety.”

”That guy ran away; won’t there be trouble?” Tesoro stood up and tidied his clothes. His guitar was broken, but that didn’t really matter.

As long as he worked his last day tomorrow, plus the 300,000 Belly Yamato lent him, he’d have enough money to buy Stella.

However, he was curious why they let the leader of the human traffickers go. Just when Elizabeth turned to talk to Yamato, the trafficker’s leader had started running away.

”Don’t worry; he won’t get away.”

Elizabeth made a gun gesture with her left hand, aiming in the direction of the trafficker leader, and then with a swoosh, a water bullet shot from her fingertip, piercing the man’s head.

After the leader’s head was pierced by Elizabeth’s sniper shot, his remaining consciousness finally heard the sound of the water bullet...

...

”Godfather, godfather, did you see? I did a great job, didn’t I?”

Yamato, returning to the Origin, boastfully flaunted her combat skills since it was their first time fighting an enemy.

”Very impressive, but don’t get cocky; you still have a long way to go.”

These few human traffickers were relatively easy tests for them. Their combat power wasn’t particularly strong, but it was moderate.

Some human traffickers even capture pirates, and quite a few people purchase powerful pirates. For example, the Heavenly Celestial Dragons love to buy those pirates to use as their steeds.

And the explosive collars around slaves’ necks serve as a safeguard. With them, slaves can’t escape or rebel, and even death becomes a luxury.
