Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

Chapter 439: The Event is Resolved

“Sorry, sorry, I just left not long ago and am already bothering you again.”

Following the use of the Reverse Summoning Spell, I appeared again in Sofili’s Plantation, but seeing her still here was also a surprise to me; she was truly dedicated.

“It’s nothing, no need to apologize to me like that. But what did you mean about the thing you couldn’t explain clearly on the phone just now? Your tone seemed quite urgent.”

Sofili quickly waved her hand, but soon changed the subject and asked me about the previous matter.

“It’s still trouble related to the Fool’s Dream Drink… sigh…”

I summarized my thoughts and said, followed by another sigh.

After all, I didn’t want something like this to happen to the Fool’s Dream.

I had originally thought that after the Monthly Exam finished today and the Fool’s Dream Drink matter was settled, I would have free time to do what I wanted, but unexpectedly, this happened.

Fortunately, it wasn’t too difficult to resolve.

“Trouble related to the Fool’s Dream Drink? What happened? Did the promotion at the Witch Cat Cafe encounter obstacles?”

“Sigh… if it were just simple obstacles to promotion, it would be easier to solve. The problem now is that the Fool’s Dream Drink has become a critically needed item. You haven’t been to the Witch Cat Cafe recently, have you?”

“Mhm, I haven’t been, indeed. Mainly because I haven’t had much time. To be honest, the social atmosphere there is a bit unsuitable for me, but the cats there are really cute, and so are the Fool’s Dream. I like sitting there petting cats by myself, although since going there, I’ve only held those cute Fool’s Dream once.”

“Oh, only held them once? That’s a shame… But now a more serious problem has appeared: the Fool’s Dream are sick, and only the Fool’s Dream Drink can save them.”

After I said this, I felt the sentence sounded strange.

After all, to her, the Fool’s Dream Drink was probably like a mixed fruit juice… could this thing cure illness?

But the actual situation was indeed like that, even though the condition of the Fool’s Dream wasn’t exactly an illness, and the Fool’s Dream Drink wasn’t medicine.

“What? They’re sick?!”

At this moment, Sofili’s reaction upon hearing this was even more intense than mine.

“My only fantasy about the Witch Cat Cafe involves those cute Fool’s Dream! Is the cat cafe exploiting the cat girls?”

“Calm down, calm down. That’s not what’s happening. It’s a problem with the Fool’s Dream themselves. Did you forget that I told you the Fool’s Dream came from a Witch’s Secret Realm?”

I quickly reached out to keep her from getting too agitated and started to explain to her, “If they want to continue living properly, they need the Fool’s Dream Drink to sustain them, roughly similar to the relationship humans have with food for survival—that’s essentially it.”

“Is that so? Then the situation must be very bad! I don’t know when the next batch of fruits here will ripen, and the batch undergoing seed cultivation hasn’t fully condensed yet… I don’t know how to speed up the growth acceleration process either…”

After hearing my explanation, Sofili quickly grasped the crux of the problem and immediately realized the key issue.

“It’s fine, it’s fine. I didn’t come to tell you this to make you anxious. I know the Witch Cat Cafe’s Store Manager. She’s also one of the Witch Academy’s teachers, Teacher Dana. She’ll help figure something out. I heard her say she would find a teacher to come over and help with plant growth acceleration.”

“So a teacher is already covering the bottom line?”

After hearing what I said, Sofili instantly understood and was somewhat relieved.

She immediately realized, “How about you tell Teacher Dana not to call anyone else? Since this matter already involves a Transcendent teacher, I can try begging my own teacher. She’s quite nice, it’s just that… she doesn’t usually pay much attention to me… but if I beg her, she probably won’t just ignore me.”

“Oh! I almost forgot.”

I quickly reacted.

I had been a bit too hasty earlier and almost forgot that Sofili’s teacher had directly given Sofili an entire Plantation!

That witch, whom I hadn’t met much, must be a teacher with some expertise in plants, right?

“How about we don’t? Wouldn’t it be a bit much to suddenly call in two Transcendent teachers for this matter?”

“This isn’t a small matter! Do you have any idea how popular the Fool’s Dream are…”

“Wait, you haven’t been there in a long time, right? How are you so familiar with the Fool’s Dream?”

I interrupted and asked.

“Uh… I watch short videos. The academy phone’s short video big data push has been entirely recommending this to me. I was originally thinking that after your Monthly Exam and once the Fool’s Dream Drink was prepared… I would take advantage of the gap, bring it over, and see if I could catch… no, I mean feed some of the Fool’s Dream. After all, you told me the Fool’s Dream drink it too…”

“Fine…”

I slapped one hand on my forehead and didn’t stop Sofili from calling her teacher.

I had finished what I could do now.

My visit was merely to inform Sofili so she could actively cooperate.

Afterwards, whether it was the so-called seed cultivation or growth acceleration, those were things I couldn’t do.

At most, I’d be useful during the final preparation of the Fool’s Dream Drink.

Besides, maybe Teacher Dana would master this kind of thing just by looking at it, as the formidable nature of a Transcendent Witch always exceeded my imagination.

Therefore, I was uncharacteristically relaxed at the moment.

Just as I took out my phone, ready to idly pass the time, I noticed a wave of wailing in my dorm group chat.

“Hmm… was it their turn?”

I opened the dorm group chat and began to lurk.

They should be discussing the Monthly Exam now.

They had originally thought it would be the same pattern as the previous Monthly Exam, but unexpectedly, this time it had become my ’gatekeeping special.’

They had been quite smug before, thinking they wouldn’t run into me, but now they were face-to-face with an ultimate move and suffered a big loss.

The most vociferous one in the group now was Hong Chenyi.

After all, she was one of the only two in our dorm to be assessed in the morning.

As for the other, that was naturally me.

Perhaps Hong Chenyi might have even been beaten into self-isolation.

However, seeing her so active in the group, happily jumping between the dorm group chat and the class group chat, she should be fine.

Just as I was happily chatting idly in the group chat, a sudden wave of energy fluctuation came from Sofili’s Plantation, which made me keenly aware of an anomaly.

When I looked up, I saw two figures appear inside the Plantation.

“Teacher!” With Sofili’s cry of ‘Teacher,’ I understood that one of them was the big shot Sofili had called over.

But when I put away my phone and our eyes met, I was stunned on the spot.

This person… shouldn’t she be in that Small World?

At this moment, my thoughts returned to when I was still in the Small World.

This person was among the Void Witch Exploration Team led by Academy Head Bev Ailana.

At the time, I didn’t inquire about any news from her, because she often wasn’t at the guesthouse.

She seemed to be the type who liked on-site inspections, and I rarely saw her.

But that wasn’t the point.

Although I was familiar with her, what did it mean that Dana was following behind her?

Could the teacher Dana was looking for be Sofili’s teacher…

What kind of coincidence was this?

No, perhaps it wasn’t a coincidence.

After all, the capable work more… when a person is outstanding in a certain field, they are the first person thought of when a problem in that field arises.

Sofili thought of her teacher when she encountered a problem, Dana thought of this witch when she encountered a problem, and Academy Head Bev Ailana would bring her along when exploring a new Small World.

She was probably there to inspect the plant domain in the new world.

However, that Small World seemed to be primarily focused on Plant Technology… so it should be right up her alley.

She should have been very busy, so why did she return?

And she could be summoned back by a single phone call from Sofili now!

However, the return of this teacher indicated a signal: that a channel had been artificially opened between that Small World and the Main World.

Otherwise, she couldn’t have returned so easily.

If that was the case… if I wanted to go there, perhaps I wouldn’t need to use the Reverse Summoning Spell anymore.

“Oh? Little Han is already here?”

Dana was not surprised to see me at the moment, but instead greeted me with great enthusiasm.

At this moment, both witches looked my way.

Even the one Sofili called ’Teacher’ just glanced at the student she brought.

“Hello, both teachers.”

I quickly greeted them politely.

“I already told you, call me Big Sis Dana, and this one is Big Sis Afura.”

“Uh… okay, hello Big Sis Dana, hello Big Sis Afura.”

“Don’t joke around with this Dana person. Just call me Teacher Afura normally. Sofili mentioned you to me. I didn’t realize you were the Little Han. I was wondering why I heard so many students called Little Han recently.”

“That means Little Han is amazing! She’ll be a very formidable witch in the future.”

Dana said with a smile from the side.

“Looking at you two… it seems like your relationship is more familiar than just having heard names? Where did you meet?”

“Yes, we’ve met a few times.”

I said.

I was then ready to quickly turn the conversation back to the main topic.

This was not the time for small talk.

“Um… Teacher, regarding the matter of the Fool’s Dream Drink and those fruit plants…”

“I know. Originally, I didn’t want to come. This person was annoyingly persistent, and then there’s my good student…”

Afura turned her head to look at Sofili, who had her head down and dared not look up, wearing an expression of disappointment in her student.

Sofili currently had none of the confidence she had when calling for help earlier.

It seemed she was also the type to be afraid of her teacher.

However, Sofili seemed to be this personality type naturally, though she was quite cheerful with people she was familiar with.

“You’re going to save the Fool’s Dream at the cat cafe, right? Only for the sake of the Fool’s Dream…”

Afura’s tone sounded reluctant, as if the Fool’s Dream held more importance than everyone and every witch present.

It was at this moment that I truly understood the importance of the Fool’s Dream that Sofili had mentioned earlier… she had been conservative in her estimation.

And just as I was thinking this, Afura had already led Sofili to the place where seed cultivation was being done.

I followed along, wanting to witness the techniques of a Transcendent Witch.

“Is this all there is?”

Afura was led by Sofili to her seed cultivation area.

Looking at the seeds currently mid-cultivation, her frown deepened the more she looked.

“Sofili, come here. Is this how I taught you seed cultivation?”

“Ah? Ah! Teacher, please show mercy!”

Sofili said this, but she didn’t dare to dodge at all, just closed her eyes and allowed Afura to tug at her ear.

But in my opinion, the force was still too light.

If it were Betty’s teacher, she might have gotten serious.

Watching Afura’s reprimand, Teacher Dana and I enjoyed the spectacle from the side.

After she finished educating Sofili, she directly took over the section of the nursery dedicated to Sofili’s seed cultivation.

Looking at the tearful Sofili by the side, I thought to myself that I must comfort her well later.

She was willing to endure such grievance for the sake of the Fool’s Dream.

She really suffered…

And at this moment, with Afura’s intervention, the seed condensation, which Sofili couldn’t quickly achieve, was already completed at a visible speed.

This speed was somewhat beyond my expectation; I thought it would take a long time.

“These seeds are not Transcendent Plants, they are just plants adapted to Transcendent Energy. Have you still not mastered the Seed condensation technique for this kind of plant?”

Afura said, casually flicking Sofili’s forehead.

“I understand… I’ll go back and review now…”

“Oh, right, do you have any projects recently? If not, use these plants as research samples. Don’t always be idle. This entire Plantation hasn’t been fully utilized yet—all my painstaking efforts wasted.”

“Mmm… yes…”

“I’ll leave the matter of cultivation to Sofili.”

“Hey! Wait a minute, Afura, I personally invited you here. Can’t you get me the goods today?”

At this moment, Dana quickly grabbed Afura and asked.

“Give them to you today? What do you think plants are? If it were ordinary grass, I could make it grow on your head right now. But these are plants related to Transcendent power. It will take at least a few days, right? Do you really want me to use growth acceleration on these fruits that aren’t even Transcendent Plants?”

“Haven’t you accelerated the growth of enough things already? This one won’t hurt either. Just help all the way?”

“No.”

“Then how about I give you a Custom Cat Card for the cat cafe? The Custom Fool’s Dream Card Back Edition? I’ve been planning that recently, you know?”

“Deal.”

At this moment, I stood by blankly, listening to the two witches’ conversation, feeling that something wasn’t quite right…

Custom Cat Card?

Fool’s Dream Card Back?

What kind of operation was this?

“What’s wrong? If you want one, I can get you one—the limited edition kind.”

Dana, who had just settled the deal with the other person, walked up to me and said with a smile.

“Th-thank you.”

I ultimately accepted it.

After all, no one could refuse a “limited edition.”

“That’s the spirit, Little Han. Just now, I saw you and Afura seemed to know each other? How did you meet?”

“Mmm… do I have to say?”

After all, the matter involved a Small World, and I didn’t want too many witches to know I had been there before the exploration team.

That would be too flashy.

“You don’t have to say it, but… could you teach me the preparation technique for the Fool’s Dream Drink? I see shadows of Elixir preparation in it, and I think it might give me some inspiration regarding elixirs.”

“Mhm, I had originally planned to pass on the Fool’s Dream Drink technique to the Fool’s Dream themselves, since this technique originally belongs to the Fool’s Dream. Big Sis Dana can certainly learn it.”

“What a good child. Then I’ll thank you in advance.”

“Oh, right, Big Sis Dana.”

Seeing that the timing was perfect, I quickly called out to Dana, intending to bring up the matter of promoting the Fool’s Dream Drink at the Witch Cat Cafe.

“Is there anything else? Hmm… let me guess. You want to promote the Fool’s Dream Drink at the Witch Cat Cafe?”

Seeing my expression, combined with my previous actions and hints, Dana had actually already guessed.

Or rather, Dana knew that even if I didn’t bring it up, she was going to mention it.

The Fool’s Dream Drink was now an extremely important item for the Fool’s Dream, so it was essentially giving the Fool’s Dream a benefit.

“Big Sis Dana already knew everything…”

I subtly shifted my body, intentionally showing an embarrassed expression as I spoke.

“Of course. This matter is certainly fine. Or rather, even if you didn’t want to do this, I would persuade you to do so.”

“I see… then let’s just follow Big Sis Dana’s ideas for everything. I don’t know much about these things…”

I said, scratching my head.

“Aren’t you afraid I’ll take advantage of you? Just hand everything over to me completely?”

“Uh… I believe Big Sis Dana wouldn’t trick me, right?”

“That’s not necessarily true, you know? Hehe… I’m joking. You met me this time, but in the future, you have to be careful. Being this naive, someone might sell you out.”

“Alright that’s all I have to say. Someone will come to you later to sign a contract regarding this. You’re a newcomer, right? If you’re short on money, you can tell your sister, you know? Though I don’t think you’ll be short on money after this.”

“Money is enough for me as long as it’s sufficient… Um, if there’s nothing else, I’ll head back first. I want to see how the Fool’s Dream are doing. Leaving them there, I’m a little worried.”

“Go quickly. Say hello to the Fool’s Dream for me. At the latest, tomorrow. There should be enough ingredients tomorrow.”
