Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

Chapter 425: Communication with the Academy Head

The arrival of the Witch Academy’s Void Exploration Team was more sudden than I had expected.

It was a good thing that I had booked the entire homestay this time.

Otherwise, the rooms here might not have been enough for these witch mentors to stay in.

Although according to these mentors, they didn’t need to sleep, it was still best to have a little private space for themselves at night.

After a simple contact with this Bev Ailana Academy Head, I also roughly understood the general situation of the exploration team that had arrived this time.

The leader of the team was naturally Bev Ailana Academy Head.

As for what Mei Linde Academy Head said about the academy only having her, one Academy Head, left, Bev also said she didn’t know what the situation was.

But at present, she was the only Academy Head who had come to this small world, and she had also brought these dozen or so Transcendent Witches.

According to the Academy Head and the others, they had sensed the fluctuation of magic power as soon as they arrived in this small world.

As someone who was not yet a Transcendent Witch, I had not truly mastered the Magic Power Source and naturally could not restrain the dissipation of magic power on my own.

This was the reason they had detected me as soon as they arrived.

However, thinking that the Academy Head and the others could lock my position in a small world with such a subtle amount of magic power was truly a bit terrifying.

So my original idea of watching the witch mentors for fun had completely become a joke.

Instead, I had become the butt of their jokes.

After chatting for a while, I found that the Academy Head was still very easy to talk to, similar to Mei Linde Academy Head.

She also talked to me about the matter of me achieving self-generating magic power without being a transcendent.

After all, her deepest impression of me was this achievement, because Mei Academy Head had published related research materials on this experiment, and this material was still on the academic section of the academy.

Then the Academy Head and some other mentors also gathered around, especially those who I had met once in the Witch Academy.

I remembered some of them very clearly because they had specifically run over to pinch my cheeks and then ran away in the academy, leaving me in a daze.

At this moment, seeing many witches gathered around, Bev Academy Head also asked a question that many witches were quite concerned about, and that was how I had come here.

I naturally had no need to hide this and explained some of the details of the Reverse Summoning Spell.

This also involved matters related to destiny, and naturally, it was impossible not to mention Qiu Ruxin, this Child of Destiny.

However, the mentors were not at all surprised by Qiu Ruxin’s identity as a Child of Destiny, as if they all knew about it and did not pay too much attention to it.

At this moment, returning to the topic of Mei Academy Head.

Bev Academy Head still took the lead in scolding Mei Linde Academy Head in front of me.

After all, since Mei Academy Head already knew about such a method, and yet she watched them open a path directly from the void, it was no wonder she was willing to stay and guard the Witch Academy.

After a burst of scolding, they ended the topic as if nothing had happened.

Soon, they turned to the topic of understanding the general situation of this world.

After all, they had come here to understand the situation of this world.

Besides, they had nothing to do in the main world, and there were no other worlds around the main world in the void, which was really boring.

Didn’t you see that this time, for just a small world, more than a dozen witches had been dispatched?

It was estimated that most of them had come to find some fun.

If I had to say, for such a small world, even I, a student who was not yet a Transcendent Witch, could play them to collapse.

To have so many Transcendent Witches come was like using a cannon to shoot a mosquito.

However, this time, when explaining the information about this world, I also took this opportunity to pull Qiu Ruxin over.

After all, she was a person of this world and knew more about this world than I did.

As for the other information about the Secret Diggers, I would be the one to tell it.

The information about this world was talked about until the sky outside turned dark.

These Transcendent Witches were very active in learning about the interesting news of this world.

Especially when they learned about plant technology, their eyes all lit up, and they were very interested in it.

”Alright Qiu Ruxin it’s time to take a shower. Didn’t you say you were sweating during the day? Go now...”

I patted Qiu Ruxin’s shoulder and said softly.

”Huh? Now?”

Qiu Ruxin subconsciously said, but quickly reacted, ”Alright, I actually wanted to take a shower a long time ago.”

After sending Qiu Ruxin away, I looked at this Academy Head again.

Actually, anyone with discerning eyes could see what I was about to do.

These Transcendent Witches in front of me had all seen the world.

How could they be simply interested in a plant technology?

The reason they showed such an expression was naturally because they had some guesses in their hearts.

It was naturally about the transcendent item that Qiu Ruxin possessed, or rather, [Transcendent Knowledge].

Although Mei Linde Academy Head had promised me that the Witch Academy would not seize it by force, the one in front of me was also an Academy Head.

What if their philosophies were not in harmony?

So I naturally needed to understand the attitude of this Bev Academy Head.

Even if I couldn’t help Qiu Ruxin keep this [Transcendent Knowledge], at least I needed to fight for some benefits for her.

Even if I might not have the qualifications to bargain with the Academy Head, at least I wanted to get an alchemical item for Qiu Ruxin that could suppress the curse of misfortune she suffered after severing the Earth Vein Chains, or other means would also be fine.

”Is there anything else Little Han wants to say?”

Bev’s gaze only followed Qiu Ruxin for a short distance before turning to me.

”Yes, it’s about plant technology. It seems that there are many things involved in this, including the Secret Diggers that were only mentioned briefly just now.”

”It’s fine, you can take your time. Anyway, from the looks of it, you should have already sent the information over, right? We’re not in a hurry to send the information back again. Mei might have already been enjoying the fruits of our labor before we even confirmed the position of this small world in the void.”

Bev Ailana said indifferently, and even mentioned Mei Linde Academy Head by name.

The current Bev Academy Head had already given up and was listening to me with the look of watching a good show.

”What I want to say is about the [Transcendent Knowledge] of this small world.”

After taking a deep breath, I also bluntly said this matter, and then my gaze quietly swept over every witch mentor.

But to my surprise, they did not show any surprised expressions, and even their expressions were very calm.

This expression made me stunned.

Didn’t they say [Transcendent Knowledge] was very precious?

Didn’t they say that even Transcendent Witches would attach great importance to it and even seize it by force?

Could it be that my cognitive concept of the value of [Transcendent Knowledge] was wrong?

”Haha, alright Bev, stop teasing her. She’s about to doubt her life.”

At this time, a witch was the first to speak up and tease Bev Academy Head.

”We naturally know about this. How could we not see such a large [Transcendent Knowledge] on Qiu Ruxin’s chest? From the looks of it, you don’t think we’re going to take it away, right? Are you already prepared to be seized by us by force?”

”Uh...”

I stood there in a daze, watching them all laugh, and felt a little embarrassed.

Alright, alright... you are all Transcendent Witches, or Academy Heads, and you are still playing with me like this?

”Not to mention that that little girl named Qiu Ruxin has already been turned into a reserve witch by you. Even if there are witches among us who want this transcendent knowledge, they will say it directly. And... this [Transcendent Knowledge] seems to be quite troublesome.”

The witch who had given Qiu Ruxin a lap pillow earlier said with a smile.

It seemed that her interest in Qiu Ruxin just now was most likely because of that [Transcendent Knowledge].

”Troublesome... do you mean it’s related to destiny? Or is it a transcendent item itself?”

I asked subconsciously.

”Both are troublesome, so I choose not to touch it. The formation of that transcendent item is a miracle. Since fate has chosen her, I naturally have no reason to seize it by force.”

”Huh? Is something like destiny also troublesome for you mentors?”

I asked with some surprise.

”Of course. Although we won’t force her to give it up, she will eventually have to make a choice.”

”What do you mean?”

I asked.

The mentor’s words were really too jumpy.

”That [Transcendent Knowledge] is carried by that transcendent item. When this small world merges with the main world, the world will, will be assimilated by the main world, and the script will also collide. So the bond that Qiu Ruxin relies on destiny to form will eventually be broken. So when the small world is completely integrated into the main world, this transcendent item will also fall into a state of ritual destruction due to the change in destiny. At that time, it will no longer be a transcendent item, but a pure, rootless [Transcendent Knowledge]. So at that time, she will need to make a decision, whether to keep that transcendent knowledge for herself or use it for other purposes.”

”So that’s how it is...”

I looked at this witch mentor with some surprise.

I didn’t expect that she had already known so much after only a short contact with Qiu Ruxin.

It was a good thing that I didn’t show off and say my own speculation, although my guess was roughly the same as this.

After this witch mentor finished explaining, the Academy Head also comforted me a little.

Their attitude towards this matter was a bit beyond my expectation, and it was almost the same as Mei Linde Academy Head’s.

After getting such a response, my heart also calmed down a little.

This matter was now considered to be over for the time being.

And the next thing to talk about was related to the Secret Diggers.

The civilization behind these Secret Diggers has always been hidden.

Although I don’t know why they suddenly want to withdraw, it is impossible for me to let them go so easily.

”Academy Head, as you know, when I was suddenly tricked into coming here by Mei Linde Academy Head without any explanation, I was in an unfamiliar place and unfamiliar land. I encountered those lawless Secret Diggers, and even I suffered a setback. Their methods are really too strange.”

”It’s as if they are treating worlds as games, using destiny to control the ordinary people of this world to burn, kill, and plunder the natives. And they are not afraid of death at all. Even if they die, they can be resurrected again. I am really disgusted by these guys...”

”Stop, stop...”

The Academy Head, hearing me guide the topic to that Secret Digger, my tone became a bit strange.

At this time, Bev Ailana could tell at a glance that what I was about to say next was definitely not a good thing, so she directly said, ”Just tell me what you want to do.”

”Huh? Oh...”

Suddenly being interrupted by the Academy Head, even I was a little surprised.

I was just thinking of playing the victim and asking the Academy Head to help me destroy this world.

”That world doesn’t treat people as people. This is a disrespect for life. Such a civilization must be very bad. And I heard a rumor that that civilization seems to have more than just this small world. According to them, a world is an open-world game, and they seem to have said there are nearly ten thousand of them... Aren’t the mentors interested in this civilization?”

”Nearly ten thousand small worlds? That’s not a small number, you know?”

At this time, a witch at the side interjected.

”That’s right. We did find some interesting little guys when we came over. They should be the Secret Diggers you were talking about. Their little gadgets are indeed interesting. But my preliminary judgment is that they definitely can’t carry out the kind of invasion and rule you described in tens of thousands of small worlds.”

”Huh? The mentors have already come into contact with them when they arrived? Then can you locate their world coordinates or something?”

I asked curiously.

”Of course, we tried. This is a little guy I’ve never seen before. Unfortunately, it failed. They used the script of this small world as a springboard, and it wasn’t even a consciousness descent into this world, so we have no clue.”

This mentor shrugged, a hint of helplessness on her face, as if she was sad to have missed some good show.

”Huh? The Academy Head can’t do it either?”

I subconsciously looked at the Academy Head and asked.

”The fact is as she said. I estimate that the reason the Abyssal Demons pushed this small world towards our main world is most likely because of these guys. Oh, I forgot, did Mei tell you about this?”

”She did. Mei Academy Head also said that those Abyssal Demons wouldn’t give us benefits for free. This world must have some big trouble.”

I hurriedly nodded and said.

”You know? That makes it much simpler. Let’s put it this way, guys who can even make those Abyssal Demons feel troubled are indeed a bit of a handful.”

”And the fact that they can do such a thing seems to have the shadow of [Transcendent Knowledge].”

At this time, another witch interjected, and then she played with a square thing in her hand.

It was surrounded by runes.

I glanced at it briefly and roughly deduced that it should be some kind of sealing method.

”I have captured a little of their power. This thing is really amazing. What should this be called? Transcendent pixels? I’ll just keep it as a collection.”

At this time, I also looked at the pixel block that was constantly changing size in the mentor’s hand with great surprise.

I had naturally also tried to grab and retain this power, but I had no means to keep them.

And this Transcendent Witch behaved very casually, which was enough to show the skill of a Transcendent Witch.

But... if their skills are so powerful, why can’t they still locate the void coordinates of that world?

Although I wanted to complain, I didn’t dare to say it out loud.

However... thinking that even this small world had made these people, led by the Academy Head, explore for so long, I suddenly seemed to understand.

Perhaps some things really can’t be taken for granted as I thought...

”What? From the way you were talking just now, you were frantically slandering and creating hatred for that civilization. Did they provoke you?”

”Hmm... something like that...”

I carefully recalled those Secret Diggers, and it seemed that they really hadn’t provoked me.

But whenever I mentioned those Secret Diggers, I had a feeling of being annoyed with them.

In short, it’s right to be annoyed!

”It’s fine, there’s no need to be angry with such a group of guys. And I see that they are also converging the script and destiny threads of this small world. It seems that they are about to run away.”

”That’s true... at least the trouble of these Secret Diggers is gone, and it saves us too much trouble.”

I said to comfort myself.

It seems that the Academy Head and the mentors are not very interested in this world.

Perhaps they are interested, for example, the witch who collected the pixels, but they don’t seem to be prepared to make any extra trouble.

Since that’s the case, I don’t plan to say anything more.

At worst, I’ll just do it myself.

Perhaps I’ll further intensify the public opinion on the Plant Network regarding the final carnival of those Secret Diggers.

The rest... just wait for the sucker.
