Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

Chapter 438: We Need More Fool’s Dream Drink

After I brought the Fool’s Dreams to the Witch Academy, the arrangements for the Fool’s Dreams were not something a student like me could interfere with.

Later, Mentor Dana, who had taken the initiative to find me, settled them down and found them such a job in the academy.

However, Mentor Dana did not force these Fool’s Dreams to work in the Witch Cat Cafe.

They could also have their own choices to do other things.

But with the simple character of these Fool’s Dreams and their lack of experience, most of them still chose to work in the Witch Cat Cafe.

After all, who could refuse the temptation of free food and lodging?

Not to mention the extreme contrast from the underground city of Ninglan New City before, they even hoped to be able to support themselves with their own abilities.

And their current residence was a unified dormitory arranged by the academy.

But compared to the student residences, it was far from the same.

After coming here, I also saw many strange humanoid creatures.

These creatures that were obviously not students reminded me of the other creatures that existed in the witch’s secret realm.

Didn’t Big Sis Bai say that there were also many of these creatures in the academy?

Although I didn’t pay much attention to it usually, I saw it now.

I looked at them with a novel gaze.

They didn’t seem very nervous, as if they were used to the students’ gazes, like a group of old hands.

”It’s just ahead. That’s where we Fool’s Dreams live. I heard it’s a good place that Big Sis Dana fought for for us. Although we are occasionally bullied by other creatures, we will also unite and make them not dare to touch us!”

The two Fool’s Dreams, who had recovered some of their energy at this moment, circled around me actively, and were also telling me about their wonderful lives.

Just now, because it was a bit urgent, I had directly ridden a broom and let them show me the way.

Unfortunately, the Fool’s Dreams could not read maps, otherwise I could have tried to teleport directly.

”Are there other things that bully you?”

”Next time you encounter them, just complain to me directly. I’ll take you to bully them back, you know?”

Hearing the Fool’s Dreams talk about being bullied, I didn’t know what to say for a moment, and directly taught the Fool’s Dreams what it meant to call for backup.

However, the Fool’s Dreams still refused my proposal.

They felt that they shouldn’t bother me with such a small matter.

I could only sigh at this and came to the dormitory area where they lived under their guidance.

However, as soon as I came here, I smelled a faint and strange smell.

In this faint smell, there seemed to be a hint of a magical aura.

Magic, this is a power that only students or mentors can master.

Could it be that someone used a spell here?

I pushed open a door with a slight sense of urgency, following that wisp of power.

Immediately, the slightly simple layout inside made me stunned for a moment.

And the first thing I saw after entering was the huge furnace pot in the center that was still bubbling, somewhat similar to the alchemical cauldron used in ancient alchemy.

Then I found that the one who was stirring the liquid in the pot with a long-handled spoon was... Mentor Dana?

”Oh? Isn’t this Little Han? I didn’t expect you to come here.”

At this time, Dana also raised her head and glanced at me, feeling a little surprised.

Then her gaze returned to the pot of strange things in front of her.

The slightly viscous and strange liquid was bubbling in this pot.

”I heard that the Fool’s Dreams’ condition is not very good, so I came to see. Mentor Dana, are you... refining an elixir?”

I frowned and looked at the pot of strange liquid, my eyelids subconsciously twitching with the rolling bubbles.

In this pot of strange liquid, I could feel a strong magic power surging and being suppressed.

It was like a huge magic bomb, ready to detonate at any time.

”Yes, I’m refining an elixir. These poor little ones are probably sick, and I’m trying to save them in my own way.”

Dana also sighed at this moment, her tone also carrying a hint of loss.

Then she put down the book she was holding.

I could faintly see the two words ”elixir” on it.

At this moment, she was really heartbroken by the suffering of the Fool’s Dreams.

And I was staring blankly at this pot of unknown turbid substance.

This was an elixir... that was a ritual blending technique that could only be learned by those with a strong ability to control magic.

So in general, high-quality elixirs could only be refined by Transcendent Witches.

At this moment, I looked at these lying Fool’s Dreams.

They were lying on their miniature beds one by one.

Even though they were sleeping, their slightly suppressed expressions were enough to prove that the dreams they were having at this moment were not good.

And at this time, it was obvious that Mentor Dana was not paying attention to me.

Based on my understanding of this teacher, her observation skills are very keen, and she also has a certain degree of psychological knowledge.

Standing in front of her, I have the illusion of being seen through.

And if she discovered the state of the two Fool’s Dreams at my feet at this moment, she should have some guesses.

”Big Sis Dana! Big Sis Xiao Han has already found a way to cure us, so Big Sis Dana doesn’t have to be so worried.”

At this moment, a Fool’s Dream said.

As this Fool’s Dream called out ”big sis,” I also felt a little strange.

When I heard them say ”Big Sis Dana” earlier, I didn’t feel anything.

But the witch Dana in front of me was already of an unknown age, yet she was still called ”big sis” by these Fool’s Dreams, and I was also ”Big Sis Xiao Han”... in the mouths of the Fool’s Dreams, I was now of the same generation as a Transcendent Witch?

”What?”

At this moment, the long spoon in Dana’s hand paused, and a hint of astonishment appeared on her face.

Then, I felt that the magic power in the pot of strange liquid seemed to have lost its balance and was about to have a terrifying magic power riot.

And the next moment, at the instant the pot of elixir exploded, Dana directly waved her hand and took away the pot and the burning flames below it.

She coughed lightly to cover up the embarrassment of her mistake just now.

I’m afraid at this moment, that pot of elixir that was about to explode has probably already exploded in some space... I thought to myself.

”Little Han, were you thinking something bad just now? Can’t I be called ’big sis’ by the Fool’s Dreams?”

”No, no, no, how could that be? Mentor Dana is forever young.”

”Hmm?”

”Big Sis Dana is forever young!”

I hurriedly changed my words.

But in my heart, I still complained, why do all witches like to be called ”big sis”...

”Next time, don’t put everything on your face, okay?”

Dana gracefully tidied up her image, and then said, ”I heard you found a way to cure these little ones. Can you tell me? After all, I haven’t even mixed a good sample of the elixir.”

As she spoke, her gaze looked at the two Fool’s Dreams at my feet.

She believed three-tenths of what she had just said.

”It’s the Fool’s Dream Drink, a mixed fruit juice that these Fool’s Dreams once mixed themselves.”

As I spoke, I took out a small, sealed bottle.

Hearing that Mentor Dana had not even had good results in mixing elixirs, if I were to boast without any real substance, I’m afraid it would cause some misunderstanding.

It would be better to just take it out and let her see.

”The Fool’s Dream Drink?”

Hearing this name, a hint of curiosity also flashed in Dana’s eyes.

”Mixed fruit juice?”

”Yes, it’s this.”

”Can you let me see?”

As Dana said this, she had already stretched out her hand, as if she was sure that I would not refuse.

”Yes.”

”Good.”

Dana’s gaze looked at the bottle in my hand, a hint of surprise flashing in her eyes.

”It actually has a hint of an elixir, a mixing ritual. Is this purely mixed from fruit juice?”

”That’s right, the fruits that grew in the place where the Fool’s Dreams once lived.”

At this moment, my gaze subconsciously looked around the room again.

On the side table, there were also many strange fruits, which seemed to be bought by the Fool’s Dreams themselves.

The important thing was that these fruits were also fruits with transcendent energy.

Are they following their instincts and trying to mix the Fool’s Dream Drink?

It’s highly likely that they failed...

”No wonder... the little ones who pursue life will always follow the will of their race to make the most correct choices.”

Dana smiled and shook her head, and suddenly pulled open the stopper of the bottle.

Immediately, the fruity fragrance of the Fool’s Dream Drink wafted out.

Before long, the Fool’s Dream who was lying in Dana’s arms at this moment twitched her nose a few times, and then slightly opened her eyes that had been sleeping for a long time.

”It seems I don’t even need to try.”

Seeing this scene, Dana also flashed a hint of surprise.

She subconsciously reached out and touched the Fool’s Dream’s little head, a smile appearing on her lips.

Then she tried to take out a small portion of the Fool’s Dream Drink.

The ball of liquid floated by the mouth of this Fool’s Dream.

Before it even reached her lips, this Fool’s Dream impatiently stretched out its little tongue to lick it.

Then, Dana saw that the Fool’s Dream in her arms was visibly getting more energetic.

”Mmm... hmm, Big Sis Dana! Was it Big Sis Dana who cured me? Huh? Big Sis Xiao Han is also here!”

The Fool’s Dream, who had recovered a little of her energy, struggled to get up when she saw my arrival.

”Go, go thank your Big Sis Xiao Han. I didn’t help much this time. It was your Big Sis Xiao Han who brought something good.”

Dana didn’t stop her, but let her down.

”Yes yes.”

I hurriedly hugged this Fool’s Dream who was running towards me.

After all, she had just woken up, her eyes were still a little hazy, and her eyelids were still fighting, but she still came towards me.

”Thank you, Little Han. Otherwise, it would be very hard for me to watch these little ones sleep like this.”

Dana said with a smile.

”No, I should be the one thanking you, Mentor Dana... oh, Big Sis Dana! You could have stood by and done nothing, but you were still willing to refine an elixir for them. That pot of elixir... must be very expensive, right?”

”What do you mean I could have stood by and done nothing? Are you not acknowledging my relationship with these Fool’s Dreams? I didn’t expect you to be so possessive, Little Han.”

”Huh? No, no, no, how could that be? The Fool’s Dreams can have a safe place in the Witch Academy all thanks to Big Sis Dana.”

”It’s good that you know. Now these Fool’s Dreams are my most important employees. It’s only natural for me to care about them.”

Dana paused at this point.

”Let’s not talk about this. Do you have any more of this Fool’s Dream Drink? With the Fool’s Dreams’ current situation, they might need a large amount of Fool’s Dream Drink. Otherwise... you should know the situation, right?”

”This...”

”Is there any difficulty?”

”There are some problems with the raw materials needed for these Fool’s Dream Drinks. Those raw materials were destroyed along with that Fool’s Village secret realm. I only have the seeds left, and only one batch of fruits has matured now. There is still one batch that needs to be bred. This time... it’s a bit too late.”

”Breeding? That shouldn’t be a problem. I know a witch who is very good at potion alchemy. Most of her medicinal materials are cultivated by herself. She is very good at ordinary transcendent plants.”

”This...”

I looked at Dana in surprise.

I didn’t expect that Mentor Dana knew so many people.

This is probably the benefit of having a wide network. If you can’t do something yourself, you can ask someone to help.

”Don’t hesitate. Don’t you want to save these Fool’s Dreams?”

”I do!”

”That’s right. Tell me where you are cultivating these seeds. Is the breeding standardized?”

Dana asked, and there was even a hint of urgency in her tone.

After all, the cats’ business was her business.

”This, I entrusted it to a senior to help me cultivate it. Her skills are very good, and there have been no mistakes so far. She also has a plantation in the academy.”

”It’s not you who is cultivating it? That’s right... the right choice. Let the professionals do the professional things. Since she has a plantation, then you send me the address, and I will find that witch.”

”Huh? Alright, alright.”

I took the bottle of Fool’s Dream Drink that Mentor Dana handed over and hurriedly opened the academy map to locate... ”Uh... wait, I don’t seem to have your contact information, Big Sis Dana.”

”Ah... I didn’t give it to you?”

At this moment, Dana also slapped her forehead.

She had been so concerned about the cats recently that her brain was not enough to think about other things.

”I don’t think so...”

”Then I’ll give you my contact information. Send me the location later. You’re talking about a plantation, right? Can a student afford to contract a plantation...”

Dana said very crisply, without any hesitation.

It was just that the last sentence was just a casual complaint of hers.

After getting things done, looking at Mentor Dana who had already left, I also felt relieved.

The matter of the Fool’s Dreams was temporarily resolved.

Recalling the trial that I talked about with the Academy Head at that time, it was really... thrilling.

If the Fool’s Dreams suddenly returned to the dream state and became dream state creatures because of this, how could I fulfill my promise to make these little ones become real life in the future?

But there’s no need to worry about things that have already passed, because there is no ”what if” in a destined past.

”Here, this is my last Fool’s Dream Drink. You guys take these and take care of everyone. I’m going to make more Fool’s Dream Drink with Big Sis Dana later, so that all the Fool’s Dreams will get better. After you get better, I will teach you how to make the Fool’s Dream Drink, how about that?”

”Yes, yes!”

The Fool’s Dream who was ”entrusted with a great responsibility” by me nodded repeatedly, her hands tightly hugging this bottle of Fool’s Dream Drink that still had a lot left.

”Oh, by the way, if you encounter any danger during this period, just use this. Press it, and then Big Sis Xiao Han, I will appear to protect you.”

After thinking about it again and again, on my way here just now, hearing that the Fool’s Dreams might be bullied, I was still worried and handed over the few remaining reverse summoning ritual alchemical items I had, just in case.

After doing all this, I picked up my phone again.

It seemed that I was going to make Sofili busy again.

I hope she doesn’t mind too much.

As for the promotion of the Fool’s Dream Drink in the Witch Cat Cafe, I am not in the mood to think about it now.

Let’s talk about this after this matter is resolved.

And, since this happened to the Fool’s Dreams, even if the Witch Cat Cafe is not going to launch the Fool’s Dream Drink, as long as the Fool’s Dreams are still there, there will be a time when the Fool’s Dream Drink is needed.

For these little ones to live a normal life, I am naturally willing to spend some money for them regularly.

At this time, I dialed Sofili’s phone again.

”Hello... Sofili, sorry, I have to bother you again. Can you help me summon me over? Some things may not be clear on the phone.”

”Did something happen? Alright, Little Han, just wait a moment.”
