Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 3046: Chapter 3055: A Gaze Piercing His Back

”I won’t forget, even if I forget to make a wish for myself, I’ll remember to make one for you~” Rosalyn waved with a smile, running up the mountain first.

Cyrus Taylor gave her a few more reminders before bouncing up the mountain with the girl in front.

”Cut!”

The Director, seeing they were in good form, quickly arranged the next scene, ”Great, let’s move to the next shot, let’s try to get it in one go!”

”OK.”

Olivia Lewis took a sip of the bottled water handed to her by her assistant Daisy and started memorizing her lines.

She was fully focused, while Jeremy Payne felt a bit uneasy.

Who knows why. Since just now, he felt a warning gaze lingering on him. The sensation on his back was so unnerving that it gave him goosebumps. He almost forgot his lines and NG-ed earlier.

He glanced at the intensely focused Olivia Lewis with some resentment, but the moment he looked over, that prickling feeling came back. He quickly turned his head to look elsewhere, silently praying Olivia would come through for him, that the kiss scene would somehow save his life; otherwise, he feared that before he could win over Lydia Bell, his acting career might end right here.

Soon, the Director had everyone ready to shoot today’s key scene.

”Olivia, Jeremy, it’s all on you. I believe in you, don’t be nervous, let’s get it in one take.”

”Everyone in position, ready...”

The Sound technician started sound recording, the Director raised his hand and silently counted down 3, 2, 1, then signaled to start shooting.

In this scene, once Rosalyn and Cyrus Taylor finished making their wishes and were about to descend, Rosalyn accidentally stepped on a small mossy rock and nearly slipped, but Cyrus managed to catch her.

They locked eyes, stirring the feelings Cyrus had hidden in his heart. No longer able to control himself, he impulsively confessed his feelings to his girlfriend’s best friend.

Up to this point, Olivia Lewis was performing exceptionally well.

Making her wish, then slipping, it all flowed seamlessly.

Jeremy Payne reacted quickly, barely managing to hold her waist, and they locked eyes.

Cyrus’s eyes flashed with conflict, pain, and the irrepressible spontaneity of youth as he began, ”Rosalyn, I...”

”I like you.”

”From the first moment I saw you, I felt differently about you. But you ran too fast back then, and I couldn’t find you around the School. Later, I found out you were Sophia’s friend, so I agreed to go on a date with her, hoping to see you. But who would’ve thought you’d leave that day on the motorcycle of some gangster guy. I thought he was your boyfriend, so I accepted Sophia’s confession as a way to forget you...”

”I...”

In fact, deep down, Rosalyn also liked Cyrus Taylor. She adored his gentleness, sunny disposition, and attentiveness, as if he had a lot of love to give. Facing Cyrus’s sudden confession, her eyes grew flustered, and she forgot to push him away at once.

Seeing the handsome face of the sunny boy she’d had a crush on getting closer, Rosalyn held her breath, but just before she closed her eyes, she thought of Sophia waiting halfway up the mountain. Suddenly, she opened her eyes and pushed the emotionally moved Cyrus away.

As the boy stood there stunned and disappointed, Rosalyn, who had just decisively pushed him away, suddenly approached him like a little rogue, stood on tiptoes, looped her arms around his neck, and lifted her head to kiss his lips—
