Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 3024: Chapter 3033: Heart Attack

The receptionist, who had a bob haircut, finally reacted, suddenly lifting her head and anxiously told him, ”Security just called and said Ms. Hanson fainted.”

”Fainted?” Charles Terrence’s first reaction was that she was faking it.

But Enna Clark interrupted at this moment, ”Could it be a heart attack? Assistant Terrence, quickly get someone to take her to the hospital.”

”Uh...” Assistant Terrence was stunned for a moment, then turned his head to look at her, ”Young Madam, does Ms. Hanson have a heart condition?”

How come he didn’t know?

He thought that woman was pretending, deliberately causing trouble to gain attention.

Is it true?

Enna Clark nodded, half recalling and half explaining, ”Yes, she should have one. It seems to be congenital heart disease. I’m not quite clear on the specifics.”

She learned about Wendy Hanson’s congenital heart disease the last time Wendy came to ask her to give up Baron Lawrence, and fainted out of anger. When she was taken to the hospital, she heard the doctor say it.

Honestly, she’s also annoyed by Wendy Hanson’s entanglement with Baron Lawrence.

But regardless of her annoyance, Wendy Hanson hasn’t done anything outrageous. She wouldn’t wish for her to die of a heart attack at such a moment.

”You better send her to the hospital first, and then contact the Hanson Family.”

Assistant Terrence saw her serious expression, not looking like a joke, and his expression became solemn as well. He turned to the small receptionist beside him and said, ”Come with me, let’s hurry over.”

”Okay, okay.”

The small receptionist hurriedly bowed to Baron Lawrence and Enna Clark and quickly led him out...

Enna Clark watched the two run off, a bit uneasy, and turned her head, ”Baron Lawrence, should we also go to the hospital and take a look?”

The handsome man’s brows revealed impatience, gripping her hand tightly with no intention of going, his thin lips moved, ”No need to! What’s there to see, she brings it on herself, should others be responsible for her? Don’t worry about her!”

Even if the Hansons knew, they wouldn’t dare blame him for not accompanying her to the hospital. They can’t manage their own people, knowing she has an illness and still let her wander around.

Luckily, Charles’s brain was working well enough to keep her out. If she had fainted in his office, Enna Clark might have misunderstood him, and he’d have had to explain.

Annoying!

”But...”

Baron Lawrence’s sharply defined face was full of impatience, cutting her off, ”No buts. Rest assured, she won’t die! If she were that easy to kill, she wouldn’t be running around!”

He understands these women; no matter how indispensable they act, they care most about themselves.

They are not like Enna Clark; he can see through their selfish, vain faces hidden beneath their hypocritical mask at a glance.

Seeing too much of it makes them appear hideously ugly!

That’s why he found Enna Clark pleasing to the eye at first glance!

He didn’t want to waste any more time on women like Wendy Hanson. Holding onto the little woman who was still worried, he continued to stroll around the company for a while before taking her back to the President’s office. He threw the novel back to her, allowing her to read a bit after exercising. As for himself, he continued with a day’s work...

The previous meeting was halted halfway, and now he has to review the reports and proposals they submitted afterwards. Anything not up to par will be sent back through company email for revision!

Besides that, he has a luncheon appointment and in the afternoon, a golf game with couples from Verdant International’s board. Later, there’s another meeting...
