Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 3043: Chapter 3052: Waiting for Her to Film

Lydia followed behind her, going out second.

Immediately after, a helpless Jeremy also followed them out.

In an instant, the makeup room was left with only the Director who suggested a short meeting and the Producer, awkwardly looking at each other. In the end, the Producer couldn’t resist the Director, reluctantly moving in front of the distinguished man, apologizing with a smile, ”President Sinclair, Ms. Lewis is a very dedicated actor, generally focusing only on the role during filming. If you’re not busy, perhaps you could take a break here. I’ll have my assistant make you a cup of coffee, what do you think...”

Adam Sinclair understood why Olivia Lewis pretended he didn’t exist, so he calmly said, ”I’m not busy, I’ll wait until you finish filming.”

”...”

In their hearts, the Producer and Director shouted, You’re really not busy at all.

But they didn’t dare say it aloud, only smiling in explanation, ”Because today we’ve just filmed one scene, the tasks ahead are quite heavy. If you intend to wait, it might be a long time.”

Lydia and Jeremy’s individual scenes were basically completed, and what remained were scenes featuring Olivia Lewis. They wanted to finish filming quickly for post-production.

This way, they could catch the White Jade Film Festival in August and see if they could aim for one or two awards.

They didn’t have high expectations, also aware that they were newcomers in the industry. Even though ”Time Knows” featured Olivia Lewis, a nearly top-tier movie star, other cast members weren’t as well-known. Lydia, for instance, was a complete newcomer. And Jeremy Payne was merely a popular male star, with little chance of winning awards.

They only hoped to be successfully nominated for one or two awards, to repay Olivia Lewis’s strong support for their film.

So, while they didn’t wish to offend the biggest Investor backing the film, they were even more averse to affecting the film’s shooting progress.

”President Sinclair, how about...” the sentence to suggest he leave hadn’t even come out yet.

The indifferent man had already cast a glance at him, blocking all the words back, ”It’s alright, I’ll just wait. Get someone to prepare a chair for me, I’ll wait outside, and I can observe your filming progress at the same time.”

Sinclair International is the film’s largest Investor, so his request was reasonable. Although the Director and Producer wanted to refuse, they couldn’t find an appropriate reason to do so. Reluctantly, they had to instruct the crew to prepare...

...

Adam Sinclair wanted to inspect the shooting progress. The crew held their breath, and their work efficiency increased.

After Olivia Lewis and the others had a brief discussion with the Director about the details of an important upcoming scene, they found the set was already built.

The makeup artist promptly arrived to give them a simple touch-up and immediately reported to the Assistant Director, ”Makeup OK.”

Holding the lighting panel, the lighting engineer made an OK gesture, ”Lighting OK.”

”Props also OK.”

The Assistant Director relayed everything to the on-site Director, ”Director, everything is OK, we can proceed with the next filming.”

Previously, the Director had forgotten that this upcoming scene contained the film’s most ambiguous scene — the kissing scene. Now thinking about it, he felt a headache, but the actors’ emotions were all in place, everything was ready. As the Director, professional principles did not allow him to retreat at this moment! He braced himself, returned behind the camera, with a serious and focused demeanor directing the scene, ”Actors, take your places, we’re about to start filming.”
