Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 3027: Chapter 3036: Thankfully the Young Madam Refused

Enna Clark didn’t comfort him.

Mr. Hanson saw that Enna Clark really didn’t intend to help, closed his eyes, calmed himself, stood up and said, ”Ms. Clark, sorry to bother you today, I’ll head back now.”

Following the traditional values of respecting the elderly and caring for the young, Enna Clark still stood up to support him and said, ”Grandpa Hanson, let me walk you down.”

Mr. Hanson, upon hearing his name, felt even more embarrassed and didn’t dare to look at her, ”No need, I can go down myself. I just need Mr. Harris to see me out.”

Enna Clark noticed his discomfort, didn’t insist, and released him, then asked the nearby Scott Harris, who was observing everything, ”Mr. Harris, could you please help?”

Scott Harris, impeccably dressed, bent down with full housekeeper’s demeanor and respectfully replied, ”Yes, Young Madam.”

He extended his hand towards Mr. Hanson, ”Mr. Hanson, please.”

Mr. Hanson took the private elevator down.

When Joanne Harrison came out to clear the tea set, she was still displeased and complained to her, ”Young Madam, you’re just too good-natured. If it were me, I definitely wouldn’t have been so polite just now!”

The Hanson family members are really thick-skinned. I seriously don’t know how someone that old can have such a thick skin, feeling shameless to come to our house and ask the Young Madam to persuade President Lawrence to visit his granddaughter.

Luckily, the Young Madam didn’t agree out of softheartedness, otherwise, I would have jumped out of the kitchen now.

Enna Clark smiled silently, picked up the cup, drank the remaining milk in one gulp, and handed the cup over to her for easier cleaning, ”What’s the problem? Anyway, I won’t agree, and being polite is better than arguing. Besides, Mr. Hanson isn’t unreasonable, he’s just too worried about his granddaughter.”

Joanne Harrison frowned, clearly still disapproving of Mr. Hanson’s actions, clenched her fists in anger, and argued, ”He’s worried about his granddaughter, so he feels entitled to come and find you, Young Madam? No matter what, I still think he’s too thick-skinned. He obviously knows you’re kind-hearted and wants to fool you.”

Seeing her more agitated than herself, Enna Clark laughed silently, patted her shoulder, and said with a smile, ”Calm down. I’m not a three-year-old, not that easy to fool.”

”I was really worried you’d agree, Young Madam, really, it scared me to death.” Joanne Harrison’s anger lessened a bit, and being close to Enna Clark, she naturally patted her chest in admiration and said, ”Luckily, you didn’t agree, Young Madam. Otherwise, I can’t imagine President Lawrence’s reaction.”

He would definitely be angry!

When President Lawrence gets angry...

Joanne Harrison thought of the last time in Mauritius when she was lucky enough to witness Baron Lawrence’s rage, and it still sent shivers down her spine.

If she hadn’t mustered the courage to run over and tell that man about the elevator accident, she might still be stuck in Mauritius, entangled by her family like a vampire.

People outside say that President Lawrence is cold and ruthless, but she doesn’t think so. If it weren’t for President Lawrence and the Young Madam helping her solve her brother’s issues, she still wouldn’t know what her life would be like.

And President Lawrence helped because the Young Madam happened to overhear her mom’s call to her, mentioned it to President Lawrence, and actively helped her come up with a solution.

So she’s very grateful to the Young Madam.

Really, more grateful than anyone else.

Just now in the kitchen, as she heard the request being proposed, she almost couldn’t help coming out to yell at the person.
