Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 1393: Chapter 1393: Clearing Out the Resort with a Grand Gesture Chapter 1393: Chapter 1393: Clearing Out the Resort with a Grand Gesture Fifteen minutes later, Enna Clark, wearing a peaked cap, helped him into the van.

Because of Baron Lawrence’s condition, Scott Harris had prepared a spacious and comfortable van typically used by celebrities.

The vehicle drove smoothly along the road.

Soon, they reached Elysion’s seaside resort.

Although it was called a resort, in reality it was an ultra-luxurious 5-star seaside hotel, except located by the sea with standalone villa designs for its accommodations. In addition, it was equipped with leisure and play areas, making it even more comprehensive than a hotel, hence it was referred to as a resort.

No sooner had Enna stepped out of the car than she heard an argument coming from the lobby.

“What’s going on here? Why are you suddenly asking us to leave? Where’s your manager? Do you know who we are?”

“I’m sorry, the manager is busy, but I can communicate with you just as well. This is the situation: we’ve been instructed to clear the area, and we deeply apologize for the inconvenience to our guests. We will provide accommodations in a hotel of the same caliber, or you may choose a cash refund. Of course, the cost of the hotel room for these few days will serve as our apology to you.”

“Who needs that small amount of money? I want to see your manager, have him come here and talk! It’s not easy for our Ms. Lillian to take a break, so why are you suddenly kicking us out? Isn’t this an Elysion resort? Do you know who our Ms. Lillian is? She’s Elysion’s cash cow, even your boss wouldn’t dare to speak to our Ms. Lillian like that!”

“Get your manager here, quickly!”

The Customer Service Lady, harried by her persistence, helplessly tried to explain, “I’m sorry, but our manager is currently communicating with other guests and can’t come at the moment. You are Ms. Lillian’s manager, right?”

“So what if I am?” The middle-aged woman’s makeup was immaculate, but her attitude was aggressive.

The Customer Service Lady, still smiling, apologized, “We’re really very sorry, but this is an order from above, and there’s nothing we can do. We hope that Ms. Lillian can understand…”

“I can’t understand! Our Ms. Lillian finally got a chance to take a vacation, and now it’s all ruined by you. How can I understand that?!” She paused, her tone becoming even more aggressive, “Besides, our Ms. Lillian has to shoot a jewelry advertisement here tomorrow. How can you make us move to another hotel? Are you expecting us to wake up early in the morning to come here? Do you know how important rest is for a female artist? If she doesn’t rest well and her face is swollen, how can she shoot the advertisement? Do you know how much money is lost if we delay for a day?”

“I’m sorry, really very sorry…”

The Customer Service Lady kept apologizing, but truly had no solution. However, the manager grew increasingly confrontational, refusing to listen to any explanation and even knocked over a glass of water another Customer Service person was offering her.

“In short, that’s what I mean, if you want us to leave, then have your manager come and talk to us. Otherwise, have your boss make a call to our Ms. Lillian, then we’ll move out.”

“If not, then we won’t leave!”

“I’m sorry, but Ms. Lillian must move out today. We’ve received a notice that we need to clear out the resort, and we’re truly very sorry.” The Customer Service Lady was polite but firm on the crucial issue.

The manager suddenly became furious, “Can’t you understand human speech or what? I told you, Ms. Lillian has to shoot an advertisement here tomorrow. If she doesn’t rest well tonight, are you going to do the shoot for Lily?”
