Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 1367: Chapter 1367: Make Me a Cup of Coffee Chapter 1367: Chapter 1367: Make Me a Cup of Coffee Baron Lawrence’s trip to the Elysion Branch Office was decided spontaneously.

Because he was specifically requested.

Enna Clark accompanied him as well.

The Elysion company was located in the neighboring city and was an entertainment company, similar to Stellar and also a subsidiary of the Lawrence Family.

Traveling to the neighboring city took a while, and by the time their car arrived, it was already three o’clock in the afternoon.

Inside Elysion, the news of their arrival had already been received.

As soon as they got there, someone immediately greeted Baron Lawrence and escorted him into the company.

Baron Lawrence was known for his decisive and swift action, not just in his personal life but in his professional dealings as well.

No sooner had he stepped into the company than he had given instructions, “Get everyone ready, I’m starting the meeting in five minutes!”

The accompanying executive president thought he would take a break, sit down for a drink before proceeding, but to his surprise, Lawrence was highly intense when it came to work. Startled, he quickly responded, “Yes, President Lawrence, I’ll arrange it right away.”

While saying this, he couldn’t afford to linger around Baron Lawrence any longer. He left the manager to accompany Baron to the meeting room while he hurried off to make the arrangements.

Five minutes was extremely tight—by the time Baron Lawrence set foot in the meeting room, everyone else had to be there too.

If he couldn’t get it right in five minutes, with President Lawrence’s brisk efficiency, the executive president’s position might be in jeopardy.

For the sake of his own job, he dared not dawdle or waste any more time.

Elysion was a large company to the outside world too, boasting its own independent operating system. Although its premises were not as grand as Lawrence Headquarters, they were still substantial and decorated in a very modern and fashionable style.

The use of black and white tones and various geometric shapes revealed the company’s brand image.

Whether in the hallways or in the elevators, the walls were adorned with star portraits, making it clear what kind of company Elysion was.

Enna Clark followed closely by Baron Lawrence’s side, trying to appear efficient and composed.

The elevator doors opened on the 23rd floor.

Baron Lawrence led the way out.

“President Lawrence, the meeting room is this way, please follow me,” the manager said, nodding and bowing as he led the way.

Baron Lawrence followed him through the corridor towards a meeting room off to one side.

When they reached the door of the meeting room, he suddenly instructed, “Enna Clark, make me a cup of coffee and bring it here.”

After having her coffee a few times, he now found it hard to enjoy coffee prepared by anyone else.

It wasn’t that the coffee was any different; he just always felt that the coffee brewed by this woman had an indescribable sweetness.

That sweetness wasn’t the cloying type he disliked; it was an agreeably subtle and pleasant sweetness, one that inexplicably made it enjoyable to drink. In short, it was simply comforting.

Enna Clark was unaware of the magical quality her coffee seemed to possess. Hearing his request, she responded instinctively, “Okay, I’ll make it right away.”

The manager with good judgment quickly added, “Secretary Clark might not know where the pantry is, right? Let me take you there.”

“Alright, thank you.”

“No trouble at all, that’s my job. Let’s go, Secretary Clark,” the manager said, pointing to the right and leading the way.

Enna Clark followed behind him.

As they walked, the manager explained, “Sorry, we don’t have a pantry on this floor; it’s only on the 22nd floor. Afterwards, I’m afraid, Secretary Clark, you’ll have to bring the coffee up.”

“No problem.”

Enna Clark followed him down to the 22nd floor, where the manager showed her to the pantry before going back up to prepare for the meeting.
