Alchemy Master

Chapter 11, Li Yuanba

“Master Ran, what do you think of the value of these three formulas?” Li Yuanfei finally asked after Ran Rui had slowly calmed down.

“With these three formulas, your Li Family can gain a foothold in the Royal City within ten years!” Ran Rui analysed calmly after pondering for a while.

Gaining a foothold in the Royal City.

Those four words made Li Yuanfei’s heart tremble.

This was the dream of generations of the Li Family. Could it be that it would be realised by his own hands?

“Go call my Second Brother over!” Li Yuanfei made a decision on the spot.

The Lin Family and whatnot were not worth considering anymore. No one should even think about blocking the path of the Li Family establishing a foothold in the Royal City.

“Patriarch, where is this Grandmaster right now? I want to visit this Grandmaster and ask some questions!” Ran Rui said, rubbing his hands. His tone was no longer as overbearing as when he first entered the door. It was now a respectful request, which showed his urgency.

“That Grandmaster is not in Spreading Cloud City at the moment.” Li Yuanfei comforted the anxious man, “Rest assured, Master Ran, I have sent someone to call my Second Brother to go and fetch that Grandmaster.”

No matter how anxious Ran Rui was, there was nothing he could do. He could only take that bottle of Qi Bursting Liquid and carefully observe it.

“Big Brother, what did you call me for?” Before long, a rough voice rang out, followed by a burly man with a black face carrying a black iron hammer as big as a basket. He walked in from the outside.

This person was none other than the Li Family’s ‘Second Uncle’, Li Yuanba!

Although he was only at the Peak Stage Martial Grandmaster Realm, relying on his monstrous strength, he had smashed a Peak Stage Martial Grandmaster to death with a single hammer strike.

“Boom!” As the hammer hit the ground, cracks appeared on the sturdy floorboards, showing that the weight of his hammer was not light.

“I say, Second Brother, can you not carry that thing with you the next time you come in? You’re not coming in here to fight,” Li Yuanfei said, his heart aching at the sight of the cracked floorboards.

“Hehe, sorry. It’s a habit. I even sleep with this thing. I do not feel comfortable without it by my side,” Li Yuanba chuckled and scratched his head.

Li Yuanfei was speechless. He then told him the purpose of calling him over.

Hearing that he could go out of town, Li Yuanba set off without a second word. Naturally, carrying his hammer.

…

In an inn in Jade Creek City.

“They still have not returned?” Lin Shijun paced back and forth in the inn, looking uneasy.

Last night, he had sent out two Peak Stage Martial Masters, who had been following him, to kill Lin Aotian, but it was already noon and there was still no news, which made him extremely uneasy.

“Young Master.” The person who had been gathering information earlier rushed in.

“What’s the situation over there?” Lin Shijun asked hurriedly.

“Everything is normal at the Lin Family. It seems nothing has happened,” the person replied cautiously.

“Impossible! What ability does Lin Aotian have to deal with two Peak Martial Masters!?” Lin Shijun had disbelief written on his face. However, deep down, he had already determined that something had happened to those two. Otherwise, why haven’t they returned by now?

“Let’s go back to Spreading Cloud City. This matter can only be handled by having Father send someone.” He had a bad premonition.

“Even your Father can’t handle it.” Qin Yichen walked in with the two Martial Grandmasters.

Obviously, he had followed that person who had been gathering information.

“Who are you?” After Lin Shijun’s gaze swept over the two people beside Qin Yichen, his eyes trembled as he subconsciously retreated behind the old man beside him.

This old man was his last pillar of support. His only reliance. The old man was the old Martial Grandmaster his Father had assigned to his side.

“You have a lot of guts to dare to kill people from my Lin Family. Do you know who my Father is?!” He invoked the Lin Family, trying to intimidate Qin Yichen.

“Your Father is none other than that ungrateful wolf, Lin Aoqing, right? Old Master Lin was really blind to have adopted an ungrateful beast!” Qin Yichen snorted disdainfully. To Lin Shijun’s shock, Qin Yichen revealed this secret that even people within the Lin Family did not know.

“I’ll trouble you two to leave none alive,” Qin Yichen said to the two Martial Grandmasters beside him, then walked out the door and gently closed it.

He was still a pure young boy now. How could he witness such a bloody scene?

…

“You’re the ‘whatever’ Grandmaster that my Big Brother asked me to receive?” Li Yuanba, the Li Family’s Second Uncle, stared at Qin Yichen, who was only fifteen or sixteen years old, with his bear-like eyes, his words full of disbelief.

“Yeah!” Seeing this big bear of a man, the corners of Qin Yichen’s mouth revealed an imperceptible curve.

This was the real reason he wanted to get close to the Li Family.

In ten thousand years, Li Yuanba would become an existence that even many Martial Ancestors would tremble at the mention of. With his monstrous strength and large hammer, no one could stop him. He was known as… the Unstoppable Barbarian.

Qin Yichen naturally would not miss this opportunity to make friends with him.

“Follow me,” Li Yuanba mumbled after being depressed for a while.

Afterwards, Lin Aotian’s group, plus Qin Yichen’s parents, all got into the carriage and headed straight for Spreading Cloud City without even participating in the auction.

“How heavy is this hammer of yours?” On the way, Qin Yichen tried to get close to Li Yuanba.

“Eight hundred kilograms!” Li Yuanba said in a muffled voice, his face full of self-satisfaction.

“I have a set of Overlord Hammer Martial Techniques here. Do you want it?” Qin Yichen revealed his fox tail, wanting to cultivate a Martial Ancestor.

“I do not care… wait, hmm, it seems quite imposing.” Li Yuanba was about to dismiss it disdainfully, but when he saw the two hammer-wielding postures drawn on the paper Qin Yichen handed over, his eyes could no longer leave it.

*Boom!…* A huge sound reverberated, and everyone in the entire caravan felt the ground shake beneath their feet, thinking it was an earthquake.

“Haha, awesome, imposing, I like it!” Then, Li Yuanba’s hearty laughter rang out.

[How could you not like it?] Qin Yichen, like a little fox, laughed jovially.

Because what he took out was none other than Li Yuanba’s signature Martial Technique, the Overlord Hammer.

“Little guy, from now on, you and I are close buds. I like your style. In the future, whoever dares to bully you, just say my name. See if I do not smash their bones to pieces!” After walking over, Li Yuanba patted Qin Yichen’s shoulder in a very casual manner. However, it almost made him spit blood from the force.

“Hehe…” Seeing Qin Yichen’s pained expression, Li Yuanba chuckled awkwardly, then leaned over again and asked, “Do you have more? I feel like it’s incomplete. Even though powerful, I have not used up all my strength and my whole body feels uncomfortable.”

[Indeed worthy of being your own Martial Technique…] Qin Yichen sighed with emotion.

This Overlord Hammer Martial Technique, in Li Yuanba’s own hands, was definitely at the Saint Grade, but if used by anyone else, they would not be able to display the might of this Overlord Hammer and might be better off cultivating a Human Grade Martial Technique.

After all, who in their right mind would use an eight-hundred-kilogram hammer to smash people?

“I do, but I have not thought of it yet at the moment.” In order to tie Li Yuanba to his side, Qin Yichen shamelessly held something back.

This Overlord Hammer Martial Technique had taken Li Yuanba several thousand years to perfect. Qin Yichen was in no hurry at all and only needed to release it to this fellow bit by bit.
