THE GOD EATER

As the undead giant stood up, Loki gritted his teeth and said, ’This is not over yet.’

For now, the death cultivator was paying attention to the undead giant so that he couldn’t do anything to it yet. He could only run away from the undead giant.

The chase continued for another 4 minutes before Loki could get another chance to make contact with the mind of the undead giant. The black crows had stopped paying attention to the surroundings of the undead giant, so the hijacked squirrel could get close to it.

This time, he gritted his teeth and planted a Mind Node in the mind of the giant. Then he kept the Mind Freeze Metac activated.

As things turned out, the black crows weren’t actually distracted. They, too, were pretending to be lax in their vigilance. So when the squirrel made its move, they noticed it and were quick to swoop down and kill the squirrel.

This made Loki’s eyes glint sharply as he said to himself, ’It is like fighting a Mind Hunter that is also an undead cultivator. It is too difficult.’

’At the end of the day, I still have to take a risk. Let’s see who is more capable.’

It is clear to him that even though the undead giant is very strong with power output in the millions, it has a weakness in its mind, which is the strength of the link that the death cultivator uses to control it.

Once the link between the undead giant is destroyed or sabotaged, the death cultivator won’t be able to control the undead giant anymore. This will rob her of her most powerful undead.

Unfortunately for him, taking down this link is not easy because the death cultivator can see mental structures and mental attacks. If she were unable to detect mental attacks, it would be very easy for him to attack her weakness and make it impossible for her to control her giant.

Just earlier, she had pretended to focus on him while waiting to lure out the source of the mental attack so that she could destroy it. Now that the squirrel is dead and she is on high alert, he shouldn’t have another chance to attack the mind of the giant.

If not for the fact that he planted a Mind Node first in the mind of the undead giant, he would have no way to influence its mind now. But doing this also brings its fair share of risks.

Since the death cultivator was actually pretending to be distracted, not actually distracted, she noticed immediately when something went wrong with the undead giant and immediately tried to solve the problem.

The first thing that she tried to do was control the black crow in the mind of the undead giant to make the giant move again. Unfortunately, the mind of the undead giant didn’t respond to her summons.

Since the black crow in the mind of the undead giant didn’t respond, she decided to withdraw the black crow completely and replace it with a black crow that she could control. But this didn’t work either.

If she can’t remove the first black crow from the mind of the undead giant, she won’t be able to replace it easily. So she ordered the black crow in the mind of the undead giant to self-destruct.

When the black crow still didn’t self-destruct, she tried to replace the black crow by force by smashing more black crows into the mind of the undead giant to destroy the one already there.

The one already there wasn’t responding to her orders, so she thought to destroy it herself. But whenever her black crows entered the mind of the undead giant, they too would freeze and stop responding to her.

About 21 black crows rushed into the skull of the undead giant to destroy the unresponsive black crow. But all of them froze and formed a boundary around the mind of the undead giant to protect it.

While this was going on, Loki was destroying the army with his firepower while simultaneously fighting the death cultivator’s mind. So he was actually fighting on three fronts.

Because he had put a Mind Node in the black crow, he had actually connected this mind to the Life Ability of the death cultivator. This granted him internal access to the mind of the undead giant without the need for an external source of influence like the squirrel. But it also granted the death cultivator access to his mind.

The death cultivator didn’t waste this opportunity to shatter his mind and immediately mobilized his Mental World to attack him. This was going on while the black crows were trying to replace the one in the mind of the undead giant, and while he was shooting guns and throwing explosives at the army of skeletons.

Where the death cultivator was hiding, the glowing mark in their head flared brightly as she mobilized the power of her Mental World to erupt through her Life Ability. She targeted the black crow in the mind of the undead giant, so the black crow began to glow brightly.

As the black crow glowed, its power was enhanced because she had added her Mental World to enhance it. So the black crow was able to fight harder to release itself from its frozen state.

Unfortunately for her, this didn’t work either. So she made her mental world clash with his Mind Node directly.

She was trying to destroy the Mind Node with her Mental World, and it would have worked if he were a normal rank 4 Mind Hunter. A normal rank 4 Mind Hunter wouldn’t have the power to resist her Mental World, so their Mind Node would have been crushed.

But he had the help of the Vengeful Bones Metac, the Mind Hunter Pathway, and the Killing Pathway. She, on the other hand, wasn’t a true Mind Hunter, so the power of her mental world is actually much weaker than the power of her spiritual attack, which he is using to enhance his power.
