THE GOD EATER

After hijacking the mind of an animal, he used the Sensory Hijack Metac to tune into their senses and see through their eyes. Then he sent the animals to look for specific cultivators for him.

His main targets are killing cultivators and the giant strength cultivators. So he looked out for giant warriors and cultivators wearing red robes.

When he found his targets, he froze their minds with the Mind Freeze Metac. That rendered them immobile and gave him time to reach them with his true body.

He had to meet them personally so that he could take their Core Metac. So the moment he meets them is the moment they will die.

And this was the case. As soon as he met the helpless target, he marked them with the Tracking Ability of Fenrir. Then he killed them.

Their death transformed the mark into a seal. From there, he pulled out their Core Metac and devoured it.

He had fused the Weapon Seed Metac of the Killing Pathway with the Space Tear Metac of the Space Pathway, and he fused the Giant Bones Metac of the Strength Pathway with the Reversal Metac of the Dual Cultivation Pathway.

The result of these two fusions led to the creation of the Splitting Edge Divine Metac of the Killing Pathway and the Vengeful Bones Divine Metac of the Strength Pathway.

The Vengeful Bones Metac made him bigger and stronger, but he didn’t become as big as giants. He was still a man, but a very large man. As for the Splitting Edge Metac, it didn’t create any outward difference in his appearance.

In general, he is satisfied with this outcome. His satisfaction increased when he used the Power Identification Ability to check his stats.

As he looked at his stats, he said to himself, ’To think it has been six months since I was easily trounced by Lady Red. A lot has happened in that time.’

Seven months ago, he advanced to rank 4 in the Earthly Battlefield. Then one month later, he met Lady Red.

Since then, a lot has happened to him. His internal energy has increased in density from level 13 to level 16, which represents the peak of rank 4, and the quantity of energy has increased from 368,640 units per energy chamber to 2,949,120 units per energy chamber.

Now, he possesses a total of 14,745,600 units of energy. It is an increase of 700% over the 1,843,200 units of energy he had for all of his five energy chambers at the early stage of rank 4.

As significant as an increase of 700% is, the most important change is still the changes to his Divine Metacs and pathways. He went from possessing the Rewind Metac, Telekinesis Metac, Reversal Metac, Telepathy Metac, and Sword Heart Metac to possessing the Rewind Metac, Telekinesis Metac, Reversal Metac, Mind Freeze Metac, and Space Tear Metac.

The Shifting Armor Life Ability also went from being a mutated Life Ability to becoming a Divine Metac. These changes were all thanks to the Divine Metacs that Slav contributed to his cause.

Slav had contributed the Space Blink Metac, Space Freeze Metac, and the Space Tear Metac. The Space Blink Metac was used to upgrade his Life Ability, and the Space Freeze Metac was used to create the Mind Freeze Metac, while the Space Tear Metac remained untouched.

Unfortunately, the Space Tear Metac has also changed now. It isn’t the only one to do so. The Reversal Metac has also changed.

So he has gone from wielding the Rewind Metac, Telekinesis Metac, Reversal Metac, Mind Freeze Metac, and Space Tear Metac to being in possession of the Rewind Metac, Telekinesis Metac, Vengeful Bones Metac, Mind Freeze Metac, and Splitting Edge Metac.

In summary, these five Metacs belong to the Time Pathway, Forging Pathway, Strength Pathway, Mind Hunter Pathway, and the Killing Pathway. So he is in possession of five different pathways distributed among three sects.

All of these changes in his Divine Metacs also meant that there were significant changes in his Branch Metacs, too. One of the changes he found most interesting is how the Killing Pathway from the Sword Way Sect has come to change the Sword Pathway from the same sect.

When he remembers this and compares the Branch Metacs of the two pathways, he has to say to himself, ’I think the Killing Pathway is much better than the Sword Pathway. This is because its main goal is killing, and it uses all of its resources to achieve that.’

’The main focus of the Sword Pathway is obviously using the sword well. This is why the sword can be used to attack better, to move faster, to defend against physical attacks, to defend against mental attacks, and to defend against curses.’

’But the Killing Pathway doesn’t care about all of that. This makes it less versatile compared to the Sword Pathway, but it makes up for its lack of versatility with a lot of power.’

The Sword Pathway is one of the two pathways that he knows utilizes the Will stat for power. The Space Pathway is the other one. Aside from these two pathways, he hasn’t seen any other pathway use the Will stat for power.
