THE GOD EATER

But now that they are working together, it took them less than a second to create a good passage into the small world. Then they began the next step of their plan.

The next step for their plan is to find the secret. This is why the divine being with the third eye on her forehead was the first one to enter the small world.

The others could only enter after the small world after the divine being of the Nexus of Truth entered. The one from the Myriad Phenomenon Sect was the last one to enter. This was so that she could remove the talisman that was maintaining the passage after they had all entered.

If she isn’t the last person to enter, she might remove the talisman early and lock others outside. And if they don’t remove the talisman, anyone passing by who sees the gap in the crystal wall will know that there is something going on in the small world.

It is clear that they’ve thought about everything. Their plan is sound down to the last step, and it is unlikely that anything will be able to stop them from getting what they want.

When the divine being entered the small world, she removed the brown ring, keeping the passage open. This caused the gap in the crystal wall to quickly close and disappear.

While this was going on, the divine being of the Four Directions Sect was looking at the other four warily. He was being wary of them because fighting isn’t forbidden and because he knows that if a fight breaks out, they will all gang up on him.

It is a tale as old as time. Everyone gangs up on the Four Directions Sect at every chance they get. So he doesn’t need to be a genius to know that they will try to get rid of him first when the opportunity comes.

Even if he had a butt for a brain, he would still come up with the suspicion. But for now, the four of them didn’t show any signs of encircling him. They only followed the divine being with the three eyes diligently.

However, since he knew that it was going to happen in the near future, he decided that it was a good idea to start preparing. So he brought out his insect hive and held it in his arms.

The insect hive was unassuming, but to them, it felt as if he had brought out a bomb. So everyone tensed up immediately.

But they didn’t do anything yet because it wasn’t time to fight yet. That time will come when the secret is exposed, and they need to vie for control of it.

Meanwhile, Loki was standing where he had just fought the rank 5 seer. He still had the special coin that was shining with various colors in his hands.

But he wasn’t looking at the treasure in his hands at all. What he was looking at was the gaping hole in the sky and the giants that were pouring in from the hole.

The hole in the sky was black, and it filled half of the sky. There was nothing that could be seen in the hole because it was black as ink. But then giants began rising from the hole and entering the world.

He recognized the giants because he had seen them just before the Heavenly Battlefield was allowed to start, and he entered the small world. But they were not as big as what he was seeing right now.

The last time he saw someone as big as them was when he saw the giant undead that the rank 5 death cultivator was controlling. This memory flashed through his mind, but he was still confused as to why they were here.

He asked, saying, “What happened? I don’t remember hearing anything about divine beings participating in the Heavenly Battlefield. I thought they were not allowed to do so.”

He wasn’t the one who was confused by the turn of events. Every soldier from the five sects was also confused.

They were so confused that they had stopped whatever they were doing and were now looking up at the sky, wondering why the divine beings had appeared.

They couldn’t figure out why the divine beings were here and had no means to do so, but when Loki spotted the divine being with three eyes looking in his direction without looking away, he knew he was screwed.

He said, “Shit.”

’If the rank 5 seer could sense my Spatial Metac, I’m sure that the divine one will be able to spot it. Forget spotting my Spatial Metac, I am sure that she can spot everything about me if she looks hard enough.’

After his short and unfortunate encounter with the rank 5 seer, he has learned that seers can find anything, can’t be hidden from, and that seers shouldn’t be underestimated. So he had no delusions that he could avoid exposure in front of the gaze of a divine seer.

This made him glance at the multicolored coin in his hands with some reluctance and said, “Damn. I still wanted to cash this in.”

But no matter how unwilling he was, when he saw all of the giants looking at him, he knew that he couldn’t delay any longer. So he overloaded his Mind Palace with energy and committed suicide.

This was just in time, too, because the giant carrying the black mountain full of holes in his hands was about to plant an enslavement seed in his mind and enslave him.

He could see the mental influence rushing over towards him like an ocean tide trying to submerge his mind and subjugate it. Unfortunately for the massive ocean of mental power, it found nothing after it entered his head.

He didn’t know why they came for him and another thing that he didn’t know was that the five giant beings had also sensed him in the previous timeline when he was fighting the rank 5 deceiver.

The only reason he hadn’t encountered them then was that he had been killed by the deceiver before they could arrive.

But even though he didn’t know these things, Loki still decided that the Space Tear Metac was too dangerous to carry around.
