THE GOD EATER

The pathway of killing didn’t help him defend because that’s not its specialty, but the power he was able to produce without it was still sufficient, so he was able to block the attack. Then the Vengeful Bones Metac took effect.

The Vengeful Bones Metac took the power of that attack and stored it in his bones for future use. He decided to use that power now when he shot the rail gun.

His rail gun attacked with a power of 5(Dao Status) × (4(Telekinesis Metac) + 4(Splitting Edge)) × (5(Life Ability) + 5(Mind) + 5(Will) + 4(Soul) + 450% Energy Well) × (5(Living Armament) + 5(Energy Amplifier) + 5(Force Lever) + 5(Lightning Engine) + 5(Bleed) + 5(Sting) + 5(Weakness) + 5(Multiple Strike) + 5(Compound Damage)) × (335% Overdrive + 450% Energy Nexus), which is 332,055 units.

This time, the Strength Pathway didn’t participate in the production of the power because the power is entirely based on electromagnetic force, not the physical power of his body. It is also why his Body Stat and the Body Level Metac weren’t involved in the production of this power.

But the Killing Pathway was able to enhance the power of the bullet that he shot, and the Vengeful Bones Metac also took effect on the bullet after it was fired.

So even though the power of the bullet is weaker than what he can produce with his body, the Vengeful Metac was able to add an extra 405,625 units of power to the power of the bullet. This made the power of the bullet reach 737,680 units.

The Vengeful Bones Metac didn’t help him block the attack when it struck him, but after it struck him and wounded him, it got to work enhancing all of his attacks. So it wasn’t just one bullet that was empowered to this ridiculous degree. Every bullet that Loki shot after he was attacked was enhanced.

The bullets that were fired were covered in red lightning bolts streaking across their surfaces. The rank 5 forger’s face paled when she saw them. But the swordmen thought nothing of the bullet.

The white-robed swordsman got over his surprise that Loki could still shoot at him after his attack. Then he lazily moved his sword to cut the bullet in half.

The bullet was so fast that it couldn’t be tracked with the eyes. But the swordsman didn’t need eyes to block an attack. He was that good.

His sword moved in an equally fast manner as he swung it at the incoming bullet. His fast attack that couldn’t be tracked was tit for tat for the fast bullet that couldn’t be tracked.

He was about to sneer in ridicule that his enemy thought a bullet could harm him when he sensed that his invisible sword energy had been broken by the bullet. His face quickly changed when he sensed this, and he hurried to activate the Sword Step Metac.

The Sword Step Metac caused his body to flash to the side in the blink of an eye. So the person that the bullet struck was the afterimage that he left behind.

However, that wasn’t exactly what happened. It couldn’t be what happened because he felt a pain in his abdomen, and when he looked down, he saw a large hole at the edge of his torso.

The hole in his side was big enough for his fist to go through. It was clear that the bullet had nicked him and taken a chunk out of him before he could dodge it.

This time, fear was mixed in with his shock. But he didn’t have time to express his shock or say anything because more bullets were coming for him.

Instead of asking how Loki came to possess such great power, he immediately activated the Sword Step Metac and the Deflect Metac to avoid the bullets.

It is clear that the Sword Step Metac isn’t good enough to help him avoid the bullets completely. The Deflect Metac is there to help him block attacks that he can’t avoid completely.

The Deflect Metac is used to deflect a great attack by using lesser power. It will deflect any attack that the sword hits blocks as long as the power of its user is up to half of the power of the attack.

Since his power output is 447,450 units, which is more than half of 779,505 units, he can deflect the bullets. So even though he couldn’t avoid all of the bullets with the Sword Step Metac, no bullet could touch him after the first one did.

At this time, the pursuit had stopped. Both the black-robed swordsman and the forger had stopped to watch what was going on.

The two of them felt mixed emotions as they watched the figure of the white-robed swordsman flash around as bullets rained down on him.

They couldn’t even see his figure. He was too fast to keep track of.

All they could hear was the clanging sound of the sword striking metallic bullets, and all they could see were the sparks and explosions of lightning created by the clashes between the two great powers.

Then they saw the deflected bullets smash into the sky, where they scattered any cloud that they encountered, or smash into the ground, where they created large smoking pits and craters. So after each clash, there was a big explosion as the ground was turned upside down by a bullet.

At any other time, the black-robed swordsman would have called the actions of the white-robed swordsman flashy. He would have scoffed and derided him with a snide comment.

But now, he was truly impressed. He was impressed that the white-robed swordsman was this skillful, and he was impressed that Loki could push him to this extent. He truly thought that both of them should be proud of themselves.

However, the white-robed swordsman wasn’t in the mood to be proud of anything. He couldn’t be proud because his sword was breaking slowly but surely.
