Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 301: New Heights of Nexus Overclock, I can help you make it reach 400%

”Okay, now that hurts.” Grey stood suspended in the air with a pained grin.

His body was completely tattered. Blood oozed out from all directions as the Law of Entropy wreaked havoc throughout his body, tearing apart flesh, meridians, and internal circulation without restraint.

This was unexpected.

He did not realize things would turn out this way.

The technique had actually managed to reverse the flow of time once more.

From what Grey observed, it was not because the Abyssal Mistress knew he could stop time. Rather, it was due to the rule behind the Three Star technique itself. Once activated, the disorder produced by a Three Star technique could not be halted, not even by time.

That alone was incredible.

And seeing it in action only made Grey want to comprehend it further.

He had already been making progress while fighting.

The battle had given him plenty. He only needed a little more pressure to fully grasp disorder. Once that happened, the Law of Order and Disorder would truly be within his grasp.

The Heavenly Tribulation and the Law of Entropy.

At minor comprehension, the Heavenly Tribulation was nothing worth fearing. Its true power only emerged at major comprehension. The Law of Entropy was the same.

After this, Grey planned to focus entirely on improving his laws. He had all the time in the world, and at the moment, he faced no real danger or threat.

He believed he could grow stronger at his own pace.

As his thoughts surged, Nexus energy had already taken action on its own.

VMMMMMMM!

By the time the Abyssal Mistress launched another attack, the influence of the Law of Entropy had diminished completely. It no longer wreaked havoc within his body, and his wounds sealed themselves shut as he returned to perfect condition.

The Abyssal Mistress froze.

This was not normal.

Even the Law of Entropy could not slow down his healing? How was that possible?

What was he using to recover so drastically in such a short amount of time? Even the Flame of Entropy could not heal at such a rate.

The Abyssal Mistress’s expression shifted.

She could no longer afford to eliminate Grey Lockhart.

Yes, he had killed her son, but that did not mean he was useless.

His uniqueness far outweighed her desire for vengeance.

A terrifying healing factor, comprehension of spatial law, and most importantly, a mysterious power that allowed him to ignore the disorder she imposed on space itself. He could teleport freely, as if subtly bending reality to his will. Most attacks would not even land on him.

She had to capture him.

She had to dissect him, uncover every secret he possessed, and take it for herself before killing him.

With her decision made, she moved.

Abyssal energy poured out from her body as she invoked multiple techniques at once.

BOOOOM!

”Burn in the flames of the abyss.”

The moment she spoke, black flames erupted violently, surging forward like a tidal wave as they shot toward Grey, devouring space along their path.

FWOOSH!

”Oh? Interesting.”

Grey had noticed those flames before. They were the same flames that had healed the Abyssal Mistress earlier. Yet now, as they rushed toward him, he could clearly feel their intent. Annihilation. Dense, concentrated killing intent that gnawed at space itself.

If they touched him, it would not end well.

Perhaps the Ten Rings of Burning Heaven could suppress them.

But Grey knew a better solution.

A solution which required the same amount of energy as the Ten Rings of Burning Heaven.

Eliminate fire with fire!

Grey grinned.

What he wielded was far more potent.

The Great Heavenly Fire.

A flame born from the deepest layer of the heavens, attuned to the Dao itself, a fire that represented authority rather than destruction alone.

Could the Flames of Entropy truly surpass this?

BOOOOM! WHRRRMMM!

Fire exploded outward from Grey’s body. The air trembled violently as enormous purple fire dragons tore through the sky, their roars shaking the sky. In an instant, the entire sky was swallowed by writhing dragons of heavenly flame.

ROOOOAR!

”Huh? Not good.”

The Abyssal Mistress’s expression darkened as she sharply redirected the Flames of Entropy toward the incoming heavenly fire.

BOOOOM! WHRRRMMM!

The collision was catastrophic.

For a brief moment, space itself destabilized.

KRRRNNG!

The air warped, laws clashed, and the boundary between space trembled under the violent impact of Heavenly Fire and Entropy.

”Tch.”

The Abyssal Mistress clicked her tongue.

Her intention had been to injure him and trap him, but to think he possessed such a trump card was beyond her expectations. Just how many powers was he hiding?

Regardless, she could not afford to drag this out.

She had to end the battle now and capture him.

There were far too many unknown variables surrounding him, and taking risks was the last thing she wanted.

”Let’s use it.”

Her eyes flickered with chilling resolve.

She still had one final trump card.

A secret abyssal technique known only to rare abyssal beings. She was one of the few qualified to use it.

The Secret Art. Entropy Ignition.

By invoking the Law of the Abyss, the law governed by the Abyss Lord himself, the user could tap into their latent potential and unleash the Abyssal Reverse Scale.

It amplified one’s power and multiplied the destructive force behind every attack.

Naturally, it came at a price.

One had to sacrifice their foundation.

But the Abyssal Mistress did not hesitate.

For abyssal beings, consuming other existences was enough to repair a damaged foundation far faster than normal cultivation.

Without another moment of hesitation, she activated Entropy Ignition.

BOOOOOOM!

Abyssal energy erupted from her body like an ocean wave, swallowing the surroundings in black radiance.

WHRRRMMMM!

Dense power condensed rapidly, forming a jet black armor around her body. A flowing abyssal cape unfurled behind her as she grasped her banner spear, its edge radiating bone chilling intent.

KRRRNNNG!

”Hm. I do not think 200 percent is enough for this.”

Dark lines crept across Grey’s face as his expression turned serious.

The aura she emitted far exceeded what a First Level Third Ranker should be capable of. If his judgment was correct, her power had already reached the threshold of the Second Level, just one step away from crossing it entirely.

She was at her peak.

Nothing ordinary could stop her.

If he did not act decisively, this would become troublesome.

He would need to use the Nexus Ruination Art.

Just as he began preparing, a voice suddenly drilled into his mind.

FZZZT!

”Hey, you. I was watching your fight. It seems you have an amplification technique. If my statistics are correct, you are currently operating at 200 percent. I have a device that can temporarily boost that to 400 percent. Do you want it?”
