Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 2056: Chapter 2049: You Suspect Me?

”I’m very certain.”

”Could the bag have been tampered with before the police handed it over to you?” An Hao pressed.

”No. The bag seemed to have been pulled out from under the car. It was difficult to take out! So I’m certain.”

”After you got to the hospital? The bag always stayed with you?”

”Yes.”

An Hao had asked all her questions, but her doubts remained unanswered: ”It’s really strange! How did the documents get leaked just like that?”

”The bag was always in my hands before! I feel confident, I didn’t check it! But after arriving at the hospital, I left, and the bag was left behind too! Are you sure no one touched the bag after I left?”

Lin Qiushu doubted she was the only one who touched the bag.

”There shouldn’t have been anyone,” An Hao recalled.

After Lin Qiushu left, she stayed alone for a while.

She’s certain it wasn’t her who leaked the data.

Soon, a large group of people arrived.

Qin Jian’s sling bag was always beside the bed; at the time, granny Zhang Yun found it bothersome there, so she put the bag on the bedside cabinet.

Everyone was together, just chatting, nothing happened.

Next, Yuan Yunong arrived, and she got up to see off the people visiting Qin Jian.

She wasn’t aware of what happened afterward.

But she did ask granny about it.

Granny was very certain and said she was with Yuan Yunong the whole time.

Midway, Yuan Yunong accidentally broke a jar.

Then she went out once to ask the nurse for a broom and dustpan.

At that time, only she and Qin Jian were in the room.

She’s certain she couldn’t be a spy!

Throughout this matter, only a few people had contact with the bag.

Yet the data mysteriously got leaked.

It’s indeed puzzling.

”Qiushu! What I’m about to say, don’t be mad...” An Hao looked at Lin Qiushu and said.

”Go ahead! I won’t be mad, I know you’re helping my brother!” Lin Qiushu didn’t mind at all.

”Alright! In that case, I’ll speak directly,” An Hao organized her thoughts and said, ”Looking at it now, the biggest issue seems to be with you! Every other time when this bag was with people, there was at least more than one person. This means others can mutually prove themselves. But you...”

”You’re suspecting me?” Lin Qiushu asked.

”Yes.” An Hao nodded, admitting it, ”I am suspecting you. So I’m asking you not to be mad! I also believe you can’t be the person, but everything demands evidence! Qiushu, can you prove yourself that you weren’t alone with the bag?”

”I can!” Lin Qiushu said without hesitation, ”At the site of the accident, many people were there! There’s no need for me to prove that, right?”

An Hao nodded, gesturing with her eyes for her to continue.

”After arriving at the hospital. I knew the bag was important, so I kept holding onto it! I was in the hospital corridor waiting for my brother’s examination to finish. At that time, I wasn’t the only one waiting upstairs for the exam, there should be others! I can mention that timeframe, then you can go directly to the hospital to check which patients were waiting for examinations during that period!”

Hearing this, An Hao also felt this matter seemed impossible.

Although she didn’t understand how to break a case, to do something, there must be a motive.
