Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 1752: Chapter 1751: Harboring Ulterior Motives Towards Her

”Okay! Run!” An Hao gritted her teeth and decided.

If fate wanted to end her, there was nothing she could do about it!

”Let’s do this! Go! Sis, you go ahead! Be careful, I’ll follow you.” This way, she could occasionally look back to check on Lin Sheng’s situation.

An Hao turned around and walked forward in the moonlight, pushing through the dense bushes, moving forward with difficulty. The road beneath her feet was rugged, and the thorns at the roadside occasionally scratched her, piercing painfully into her skin.

Mu Mian followed closely behind her, not missing a single step.

Yes, she had to escape, escape this place!

She never wanted anything to do with Mu Qiankun ever again!

Suddenly, Mu Mian heard footsteps coming from behind. She thought it was Lin Sheng who had caught up, feeling a rush of joy, quickly turned to look.

However, when she turned, she bumped right into the grotesque and terrifying face of Laosu.

”You? How come...” Before she could finish her words, Laosu knocked her out with a palm strike.

An Hao heard the commotion behind her and quickly stopped her steps to turn around.

Only to see it was Laosu who had caught up. Her heart sank, and her breath grew tense with fear.

”Why is it you?”

”What? Seeing me scares you?” Laosu sneered, stepping closer to An Hao with each step, ”Didn’t you say you weren’t running away? Just now, you looked so upright and disdainful of escaping. And now? Truly, women are all hypocritical, aren’t they?”

”Since you discovered me, what else is there to say? Let’s go back with you!” An Hao said, stunned.

”Go back? Just because you say so?” Laosu grinned, his large teeth gleaming ghastly in the moonlight.

”Then what do you want?” An Hao’s hand instinctively reached into her pocket, her fingers already gripping the handle of a scalpel.

”From the first day I met you, I was a bit interested in you, this hypocritical woman! Although I’m not a big shot, there are very few who can be with me, Laosu! Today, I’m suddenly very interested in you and want to have a deep conversation with you!” As Laosu spoke, he stepped closer to An Hao.

An Hao had long felt that Laosu’s gaze was not pure, but along the way, he hadn’t done anything excessive.

It seemed she had really misjudged him.

”Stay away from me! If anything happens to me, I’m afraid none of you will leave this dense forest!” An Hao’s heart was panicking, but she still tried to maintain a facade of calmness.

”Oh really? If I were to really do something, what would you do?”

”I would die!”

”You won’t! You still have a child; I don’t believe your life means more to you than your child’s!” Laosu was a shrewd person, very adept at understanding people’s minds.

Sure enough, An Hao froze.

Taking advantage of the moment, Laosu lunged forward, pinning An Hao tightly against an ancient towering tree: ”Today, I really want to do something to you, see if you’ll choose to die or not!”

As he spoke, he leaned down to kiss An Hao’s neck.

In her urgent state, An Hao pulled out the scalpel, pointing it at Laosu’s throat: ”Don’t you dare! Otherwise, I’ll kill you!! I am, after all, a military doctor; I didn’t just waste my years in university. Performing an autopsy is not difficult for me, and killing a person is even less so!”

Laosu looked at her and slowly said, ”You’re a doctor! Have you forgotten your duty as a doctor? To save lives and heal the wounded!”
