Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 691: Chapter 690: Sent Back to Her Parent’s House

”What the hell are you jabbering about!” Qin Fen was already furious, and Song Yueqin’s sudden jab only fanned the flames, making his anger surge. He slapped the stack of papers onto Song Yueqin’s face, ”Song Yueqin, let me tell you, this isn’t over between your mother and me! I’m going to ask her for money!”

Song Yueqin didn’t expect Qin Fen to actually throw the papers at her face, and fury instantly filled her. She stood up abruptly and, with a swing of her hand, slapped Qin Fen across the face, ”Qin Fen! I didn’t marry you to take your crap! You treat me like this on the very first day of our marriage—how the hell are we supposed to live the rest of our days! This is my dowry, not yours!”

Qin Fen was slapped in the face for the first time in his life; it was a blow to his male pride. In a hot-headed moment, he raised his hand high and slapped Song Yueqin across the face.

Slap~

The sound was piercingly sharp as it struck Song Yueqin’s face, causing her to burst into tears from the pain.

”Qin Fen! You son of a bitch!” Song Yueqin panicked and grabbed the thermos from the table, hurling it viciously at him.

Qin Fen dodged, and the thermos hit the ground, shattering with a loud bang.

Li Junping could no longer hold back and kicked the door open, charging in. Without a word, she grabbed Qin Fen’s ear and cursed him fiercely, ”You good-for-nothing! I gave you the money to get married so you could live a good life, not to bring someone home to fight and disturb me. If this is how it’s going to be, you two might as well get divorced right now! I’d rather waste the money than let you two be the death of me!”

After scolding Qin Fen, Liu Junping turned and pointed at Song Yueqin’s nose, scolding her as well, ”Song Yueqin, you know damn well why you married my son! Now that you’re here, you two better get your act together and live peacefully! If you keep fighting like this every day, you might as well pack your bags and go back to the Song Family! This time, I’ll let it slide! Next time I hear you calling Qin Fen a son of a bitch, I will have a serious talk with you.”

When Qin Fen is scolded, he has to listen.

When Song Yueqin is scolded, she won’t take it, ”Mom, what you said isn’t right! It was your son who took my virginity. He insisted on marrying me. And today, it was also your son who started the argument with me. I know you’re prejudiced against me! Sometimes my mother might go too far, but that doesn’t mean you can take out your dissatisfaction with her on me. If you want me to go back to the Song Family, I’ll pretend I didn’t hear it this time. But if you say this kind of thing again, you’re just trying to tear me and Qin Fen apart intentionally! If that’s the case, then I really won’t come back.”

”Ha! How dare you talk back to me!” Li Junping had been strong-willed her whole life, and the Song Family had gotten the better of her because of Qin Feng’s matter.

This time, she absolutely couldn’t let this little girl, Song Yueqin, get the upper hand again.

So, Liu Junping stood with hands on hips and pointed towards the door, ”Go! If you’re so capable, leave right now!”

Song Yueqin hadn’t imagined Li Junping would actually tell her to leave.

If she didn’t go, wouldn’t she lose face for the rest of her life?

”Fine.” Song Yueqin got up and started to pack her things, then, while grabbing a couple of clothes, she turned to Qin Fen with tears streaming and said, ”Do you see what I’m talking about? Didn’t I tell you your family never liked me, and you didn’t believe me! Now you see? On the very first day after our wedding, they want to drive me away! Alright, I’ll go!”

Having said that, Song Yueqin left, crying all the way.

”Yueqin!” Seeing Song Yueqin in tears, Qin Fen felt some regret for his earlier impulsiveness. It was his mother-in-law who had caused this, not Song Yueqin, right?

How could he have raised his hand to his wife?

Drowning in remorse, Qin Fen also chased after her, ”Yueqin, don’t leave! Wait for me!”
