At this moment, Yu Zi Yu’s eyes narrowed. He seemed to have noticed something.

The next moment, a golden streak of light spanning across a wide distance entered his sight, rushing towards the Dark Willow Tree’s location at high speed along the ocean currents.

[What’s that!?] Yu Zi Yu focused his gaze further, whereupon he finally found the source of the golden streak of light — a golden-haired girl.

She was not just any girl.

She was extremely beautiful, so beautiful that she appeared out of this world. She exuded an air  of etherealness as if she had stepped out of myths and legends.

After a closer look, Yu Zi Yu was surprised to find that this girl was not Human; following her elegant and seductive figure, Yu Zi Yu noticed that below her slender waist, instead of a pair of Human legs, there was a Fish Tail adorned with golden scales.

“A Mermaid…” muttering to himself, Yu Zi Yu gazed at the girl with an extra hint of fascination.

Mermaids had been around since myths and legends. And after the emergence of the Seven Sea Clans, Humanity had truly confirmed the existence of these peculiar creatures.

According to the legends, Mermaids were an elegant and beautiful race. Just by appearance alone, they far surpassed Humans. They were so beautiful that if a person with a weak will were to lay eyes on them just even once, they would get completely infatuated with them.

This did not mean that it was only true for ordinary Humans, even powerful Humans were susceptible to their charms, simply because the beauty of Mermaids possessed a kind of magic. To some extent, it could affect one’s mind, to the extent that even a powerful Human, if infatuated, would willingly live and die for her.

At this moment, the Mermaid that had appeared in Yu Zi Yu’s sight was even more amazing: Apart from her formidable strength, just her presence alone made Yu Zi Yu, a being of his stature, had his eyes brightly lit up.

For a moment, Yu Zi Yu couldn’t muster any aversion towards her.

In other words, Yu Zi Yu was also influenced by her.

“She should be the rumored Mermaid Queen, who calls herself Elsa,” as he muttered to himself, Yu Zi Yu’s lips curled up into a smirk, as a hint of amusement played upon them.

[If my guess is correct, the disturbances caused by numerous Sea Beasts must have attracted the attention of the Mermaid Queen, Otherwise, it wouldn’t have been easy for me to encounter her. But since you’re here, you don’t need to leave.] Smiling in his heart, Yu Zi Yu’s Cosmic Root, hidden in between the reef, shook slightly, before an eerie blood-red eye slowly opened on its tip.

Yu Zi Yu’s Heavenly Eye could be opened anywhere in his body, and this was also Yu Zi Yu’s source of greatest support on this Cosmic Root.

The combat power of the Cosmic Root was not particularly high. Although it did npt fear Emperors of the World, it was difficult to truly contend with them.

If he acted haphazardly, he might even let his Mermaid Queen, whom he had finally encountered, slip away.

Of course, before taking action, Yu Zi Yu didn’t mind getting a grasp of her strength first.

With this in mind, Yu Zi Yu focused his gaze on the Mermaid Queen, before a luxurious status screen appeared before Yu Zi Yu.

Race: Mermaid.
Tier: Tier-3 (Emperor of the World)

Innate Talent:

Mermaid’s Song — With her enchanting voice, she sings melodies of unparalleled beauty that possess the power to pierce through one’s body and reach directly into one’s soul. This ethereal gift not only serves as a means of attack but also grants her the ability to defend herself.

Unique Abilities:

Mermaid’s Tears — Her tears can dispel most curses and toxins, and can also heal injuries.

Mermaid’s Tail — Her seemingly beautiful tail is the most terrifying weapon of a Mermaid. Even a light tap can unleash tremendous force, equivalent to tens of thousands of tons.

Ocean’s Protection — In the vast expanse of the ocean, she can harmonize with its depths, amplifying her strength, agility, and ability to heal, becoming a formidable force to reckon with.

Death Melody —  By playing a melody with the ‘Death’s Will’, she can strangle all sinful Souls.

Rhythm of the Sea — She is able to easily manipulate the ocean, stirring up terrifying shockwaves and even tsunamis.

Endless Sea Current — Erupting with Spiritual Energy, she can create tornado-like swirling currents that can devour everything in their path.

…

After taking a deep look, Yu Zi Yu couldn’t help but admire.

It truly lived up to the status screen of an Emperor of the World; and it wasn’t just simply luxurious.

There was still more to it.

However, now was obviously not the time to continue examining the status screen of the Mermaid Queen, because the Mermaid Queen suddenly halted and started vigilantly scanning her surroundings, furrowing her brow, as if she had sensed Yu Zi Yu’s investigation.

She was seized by a palpable fear, as though under the scrutiny of an ancient behemoth, freezing her body.

Fear,

Dread…

Emotions she had never experienced before overwhelmed her mind and Soul.

“How is this possible?” The Mermaid Queen gritted her silver-white teeth in disbelief. She couldn’t accept that there was such a formidable presence in the depths of the sea.

It was simply too unbelievable for her.

After all, Merpeople were most adept at perception. If there was really such a formidable being here, the ocean would have informed her first.

After all, the merpeople were children of the sea.

However, just then, seemingly sensing the tension of the Mermaid Queen, a playful voice reverberated in the depths of the sea, “Nice to meet you for the first time, Mermaid Queen, Elsa.”

“Uh…” The Mermaid Queen’s expression instantly stiffened, and she couldn’t help but tightly clench her fists. After a moment, suppressing the nervousness in her heart, the Mermaid Queen forced herself to appear calm and asked, “Who are you?”

At the drop of this question, the Mermaid Queen immediately spread her senses, searching everything around her. [Where? Where exactly is he?]

Unable to find Yu Zi Yu, the Mermaid Queen grew increasingly restless. At some point, her Spiritual Energy started boiling.

For a moment, one could see golden flames igniting around the Mermaid Queen.

At the same time, centered around the Mermaid Queen, a vast fluctuation spread out in all directions. It seemed like a call for help.

Except, before this fluctuation could fully spread…

*Boom…* Followed by a deafening boom, the Mermaid Queen’s figure fiercely shook.

Right at this very moment, a blood-red eye occupied her field of vision, continuously enlarging, much to her shock.

*Booom…* With another thunderous roar, an overwhelmingly potent psychic force coalesced into countless spikes, hurtling toward the Mermaid Queen with menacing speed.

“What’s going on?” Filled with incredulity, the Mermaid Queen — Elsa clutched her head and let out a piercing scream.

[How can there be this kind of psychic power? How can it be stronger than mine?]

However, just then, as if realizing something, an unbelievable scream tore through the darkness of the sea, “You’re not a Tier-3…”

In her scream, there was a deep sense of fear, even a kind of indescribable despair.

‘Not a Tier-3,’ these terrifying words inflicted instant devastation upon her. One could imagine, what did that mean?

However, before the Mermaid Queen could say anything else…

“Nine Realms of Heaven.”

Amidst a deep and resonant shout, whirlpools suddenly manifested in front of the Mermaid Queen — Elsa in succession.

Just as these whirlpools of different colors appeared, a terrifying suction force emanated from them.

In just a moment, the Mermaid Queen, whose Soul had already been severely damaged, was completely swallowed by a whirlpool crackling with electricity.
