“Master devoured the thunderclouds?”

“Uh… Let me process this…” Everyone looked at each other in stupefaction. Not to mention ordinary Mutant Beasts, even top-tier ones like Bull Demon and White Tiger found it hard to accept.

Things were different now.

With cultivation, many Mutant Beasts gained a deeper understanding of this world. Naturally, they knew the terror of the Lightning Tribulation. Especially since most of them were already at Tier-3, and were not far away from facing their own Lightning Tribulation, which only had a 10% survival rate in the previous era.

Only by overcoming their Lightning Tribulation could they truly step into Tier-4. So, how could they not recognize Lightning Tribulation?

However, now, just when every single one of them was reeling in fear at the sight of the Lightning Tribulation, it was actually devoured in an instant.

“Uh…” With his mind in turmoil, White Tiger silently decided that when he broke through to Tier-4 in the future, he would ask Yu Zi Yu to directly devour the lightning. That way, there would be no need to undergo tribulation.

“Hehe…” Mischievously grinning, White Tiger felt a sense of pride in his cleverness. Only he could come up with such a solution.

Of course, at this moment, White Tiger selectively ignored the dumbfounded gaze of Bull Demon, who was looking at him like he was an idiot.

While everyone was reeling in shock, White Tiger, on the other hand, was grinning foolishly. It was no wonder Bull Demon was looking at White Tiger with an odd gaze.

…

Meanwhile, adding to the astonishment of the Mutant Beasts, Yu Zi Yu’s figure also started changing slowly.

*Boom, boom, boom…* Fearsome tremors rocked the ground as countless roots grew from Yu Zi Yu once again, digging deeper into the ground incessantly.

At the same time, his canopy continued to rise until it disappeared into the clouds.

Returning to his original form was Yu Zi Yu’s top priority, because he had to ensure that his original body could retain the opened Heavenly Eye.

*Boom, boom, boom…* Amidst the increasingly terrifying rumbling, an enormous tree that covered the sky and the sun once again stood tall in the depths of Misty Mountains.

“We pay our respects to the Divine Tree…”

“We pay our respects to the Divine Tree…”

Respectful greetings of countless Mutant Beasts echoed one after another.

“En,” Yu Zi Yu returned the greeting with a slight nod, not paying it too much attention. Instead, he turned his gaze to a corner of his original body, specifically at the centre of his trunk, where there was a blood-red slit resembling a closed eye, seemingly sleeping yet also waiting.

“As expected, it’s still there.” A bit excited and a bit joyed, Yu Zi Yu finally breathed a sigh of relief.

[After so much planning, I finally managed to open my Heavenly Eye.] With this in mind, Yu Zi Yu’s consciousness shifted, focusing on the blood-red slit.

In a flash, slightly trembling, the blood-red slit slowly opened. At the same time, a strange perspective fell upon Yu Zi Yu’s mind.

The whole world seemed clearer, even the colourful Spiritual Energy in the air became distinctly visible to Yu Zi Yu.

And this was not the end.

*Haaaa…* Taking a deep breath, Yu Zi Yu focused his attention on the Peregrine Falcon flying in the night sky.

In a flash, with a deafening clap, Yu Zi Yu seemed to have entered another world, where every movement was slowed down, to the point where he could clearly see every flap of the Peregrine Falcon’s wings.

“So, this is the perspective of the Heavenly Eye…” Yu Zi Yu was shocked and amazed by the terrifying nature of the Heavenly Eye.

[With such an eye, who in the same tier can stand against me? More importantly, this Heavenly Eye possesses a dreadful Divine Ability of its own. Let’s examine this eye.]

Shifting his perspective to a branch, Yu Zi Yu began to inspect his own Heavenly Eye.

It was a blood-red eye, with ripples gently undulating like the ones on the surface of a lake, appearing quite dynamic. And deep within the pupil, there were several different-coloured tomoes swirling round.

One was earthy yellow, representing the colour of the earth, exuding a sense of heaviness.

Another was silver, representing the colour of lightning. Upon closer inspection, one could see arcs of electricity streaking around it.

Apart from these two, there was also one blue exuding coldness, one crimson as if burning… and three of slightly dimmer colours. They were less conspicuous than the rest, but they were still there.

One was purple, shimmering with a faint halo. It symbolised space.

One was white, and exuded a sacrosanct and extraordinary aura, symbolising light.

And the last one was green, and happened to be brimming with Vitality.

These seven formed a ring, attracting each other, but constantly rotating in a certain pattern.

“Because I visualised that Divine Tree, is that why the appearance of my Heavenly Eye is somewhat similar?” Yu Zi Yu muttered his speculation.

Aside from the different-coloured tomoes, his Heavenly Eye was identical to the one he had envisioned.

(Ashish: Rinne Sharingan.)

However, compared to that eye, Yu Zi Yu’s Heavenly Eye was more restrained and eerie. All of this was because the Divine Ability nurtured by Yu Zi Yu’s Heavenly Eye was a bit terrifying.

“The Nine Realms of Heaven…” a whisper escaped Yu Zi Yu’s lips as his gaze fell upon the status screen.

Heavenly Eye Divine Ability: The Nine Realms of Heaven — You can freely weave space with the help of the Divine Ability obtained after opening the Heavenly Eye. Currently, it has pockets of Earth, Flame, Ice, Lightning, Light, Void, and Vitality, each tomoe corresponding to one.
Note: Each pocket can grow until it becomes a world. The vaster the pocket, the more terrifying the Divine Ability. Currently, except for the Pocket of Lightning, which has expanded to over 1,000 square metres because of devouring the thunderclouds and is still expanding at a terrifying rate…

After finally going through it for a long time, Yu Zi Yu withdrew his gaze. Deep within his eyes, astonishment was still lingering.

“This Divine Ability is terrifying,” murmuring, Yu Zi Yu could feel his Spiritual Energy draining throughout his body.

The pockets he nurtured were devouring his Spiritual Energy.

However, just in an instant, before Yu Zi Yu could do anything, with a deafening roar, waves of purer Spiritual Energy returned to Yu Zi Yu’s body.

Through this exchange, although Yu Zi Yu’s hundreds of thousands of Spiritual Energy was reduced to tens of thousands, its purity had increased by a whole new level.

This was another ability of Yu Zi Yu’s Divine Ability — The Nine Realms of Heaven: purifying the Spiritual Energy.

Moreover, if Yu Zi Yu had the opportunity to turn the pockets into worlds. Once he could do that, he could let them continue to grow on their own. After all, only a true world could nurture Spiritual Energy. When these pockets grew into worlds, Spiritual Energy would naturally arise on its own.

If that happens, it could be said that Yu Zi Yu’s Spiritual Energy would be endless, and more so, he could say he had his own world.

Of course, that goal seemed a bit distant. At least, looking at the current situation, with many pockets barely reaching 10 square metres, it was a truly far off goal. Nevertheless, Yu Zi Yu fell into contemplation. [I guess my demand for resources has increased once again.]
