“Misty Mountains chose not to stay silent in the end.” A deep and resonant laughter echoed, causing many Mutant Wolves to involuntarily shudder.

As everyone raised their gazes cautiously, they saw a giant blood-red wolf with crimson eyes appearing on a giant rock.

This was a Giant Wolf, standing 3 meters tall.

Compared to other Giant Mutant Wolves that could reach 5-6 meters, or even a dozen meters high, his mere height of 3 meters was hardly worth mentioning.

However, it was precisely this seemingly dainty Giant Wolf that made countless Mutant Wolf Clans tremble in fear.

He was none other than Gorewolf King, the absolute ruler of the Gorewolf Clan on the Great Prairie, who was once labeled as one of the ten Monstrosities of the continent. He not only possessed astonishing combat power but he also led hundreds of thousands of Gorewolves to attack the cities, massacring countless Humans.

However, compared to the Humans who had died at his hands, far more Mutant Beasts had died at his hands.

Before the advent of the Era of Transcendence, the entire Great Prairie was teeming with life, home to countless animals.

However, since the rise of Gorewolf King, countless Mutant Beasts were either driven away or hunted down.

Whereas he, paving a way with mountains of corpses and rivers of blood, arrived at this current position.

He had been called with many names, the King of Prairie, the most terrifying existence on the Great Prairie, Gorefiend, and many more. Each of these names spoke volumes of how terrifying this Giant Gorewolf was.

Some even speculated that he had already reached the Realm of Sovereign.

However, no one has seen his true strength with their own eyes, or to be more accurate, those who had witnessed it were already dead.

This Gorewolf King, ‘one of the most’ terrifying existences in the Wolf Clan.

There was a reason why he was not ‘the only one.’

 At this moment…

*Tap, tap tap…*Accompanied by heavy footsteps, countless Mutant Wolves felt the pressure brought down on them by Gorewolf King lighten.

Immediately, everyone raised their heads, and saw a Giant Silver Wolf on a peak that seemed to have appeared without their notice, her long silver fur fluttering along the wind.

There was an air of majesty and aloofness around her, as if untouched by dust. Her pair of calm eyes were bright and flawless, glistening like sapphires. There also happened to be a crescent shape mark on her brow.

She was Silvermoon Heavenly Wolf, a terrifying existence no weaker than Gorewolf King.

She was the only one on the Great Prairie who could contend with Gorewolf King.

However, what set her apart from Gorewolf King was that while Gorewolf King relied on endless slaughter to reach his current position, she relied on her Innate Talent.

Her talent for cultivation was extremely alarming, so much so that she grew stronger just by breathing.

At this moment, Sirius’ pupils suddenly constricted as a trace of astonishment flashed deep in her eyes, seemingly sensing something.

“You broke through!?”

“Hahaha…”

Gorewolf King didn’t justify it with an answer, and just burst into laughter.

After fighting for several years, this was the first time he had seen her show surprise.

However, even though he had stepped into the Realm of Sovereign, he dared not underestimate Sirius. Especially now, when the moon was hanging high in the sky.

It was the time when Sirius was the most terrifying.

While it might be impossible for other Mutant Beasts to fight a Tier-3 Sovereign while being just a Tier-3 King, it wasn’t much of a problem for Sirius.

At this moment, after shooting a brief glance at the Sirius descending from the clouds, Gorewolf King turned his gaze towards Kings of other Wolf Clans not far away.

“You must have heard about Misty Mountains and what they are doing.”

At this point, a coldness flashed in the depths of Gorewolf King’s eyes as he continued, “These past few days, they’ve been wantonly slaughtering Mutant Beasts. I believe that very soon, they will be sweeping through the grasslands. So, before they come, I plan to give them a big surprise.”

After hearing this, the corners of numerous Wolf Kings curled upwards, revealing a Human-like cruel smile.

The Wolves were the most united out of any species.

While they might cruelly fight among themselves in the absence of an external enemy, they would band together and stand united at the first sign of an external threat.

The sudden onslaught of Misty Mountains had made the Wolves of the Great Prairie vigilant, because just the day before yesterday, a forest not far from the Great Prairie was burned to ashes by an endless sea of fire.

After that night, the Wolf Kings of various Wolf Clans immediately gathered and even temporarily submitted to the Two Great Kings, Gorewolf King and Sirius.

Meanwhile, not far from the Great Prairie…

The duo of Nine Tails and Bull Demon, who usually operated together, could be seen moving slowly.

They might have been taking slow steps, but each step they took covered a kilometer, and their direction was clearly towards the Great Prairie.

After all, the Wolf Clans of the Great Prairie were renowned.

Even the Great Prairie itself wasn’t any less fierce than the Western Desert or the Arctic Circle.

In that case, how could Misty Mountains, which were dead set on controlling the entire continent, not possibly dispatch someone here?

—

Meanwhile, apparently, all parties seemed to have realized the intentions of Misty Mountains.

In the depths of the North Pole, in the heart of the Western Desert, and in those newly emerged Forbidden Zones, Mutant Beasts immediately sprang into action.

The destruction of Steel World had already pushed countless powerful Mutant Beasts on edge.

This sudden onslaught of Misty Mountains seemed to have broken their last nerve.

At this moment, in the depths of the Arctic Circle, a sharp and piercing roar as the snow falling from the sky converged at one spot, materializing into a Humanoid Figure.

Ice Sprite–One of the four Arctic Emperors.

Her awakening, to some extent, was also a sign of something.

In another corner, beneath the gloomy sky and amid the howling winds of the cold night, which resembled the mournful wails of ghosts, black mist gradually enveloped the air.

Occasionally, the distant echoes of war drums could be heard.

This was the Ghost Domain, a Forbidden Zone as notorious as Steel World.

Under the pressure of Misty Mountains, powerful gusts of wind engulfed the Ghost Domain.

Looking closely, one could even see eerie apparitions emerging from the sinister depths of the Ghost Domain.

Adding more to the dread, one of the phantoms appeared to be seated on a throne. Its every move and gesture exuded an indescribable majesty.

*Hmph!* With a cold snort, this kingly figure, that had never shown himself, looked in the direction of Misty Mountains, revealing a cold expression.

“A half a year of delay has allowed that Demonic Tree to gain influence,” saying this, the corner of this kingly figure’s eyes twitched involuntarily.

After all, a Tier-4 Transcendent was no joke.

As mighty and powerful as he was, in the face of Tier-4 Transcendents, who were considered Earthly Gods and Immortals even in the previous era, he couldn’t help but feel a bit uneasy.

However, he had no choice at this moment. After all, the ambitions of the Tree Monster were clear to the world.

[If something is not done, everyone will inevitably be taken down one by one. Others may have no idea about the terror of a Tier-4 Transcendent, but I’m well aware of it! If that Tree Monster didn’t find it troublesome, it alone would be capable of wiping out half of the continent!]

[That is what it means to be a Tier-4 Transcendent! That is also the bare minimum, when the Tier-4  monstrosity has not achieved any greater breakthroughs. So, if that Tree Monster grows even stronger, or breakthrough into even more terrifying realms, I would have no choice but to flee at the very first notice…]
