*Roooaar, roooaar, roooaar…* One roar after another echoed endlessly in the deep sea, as massive Mutant Creatures of unique appearances suddenly lifted their gaze, one after another, a hint of confusion and perplexity flickering in their glowing red eyes.

Although they were lacking in the intelligence department, the mysterious call still caused these ferocious monsters to tremble.

After a moment, a thunderous roar echoed before a terrifying figure rose from the depths of a reef so dark that one couldn’t even see their fingers.

The terrifying figure strengthened endlessly to no end, and was covered in menacing scales all over. Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a Giant Python. However, what set this Dark Green Python apart from other Pythons was that it had a row of sharp and fierce spikes on its back.

The spikes were a distinctive feature of the Sea Beast Clan. Furthermore, the fiercer the spikes were, the more terrifying was the Sea Beast’s strength.

Looking at those rows of sharp spikes piercing through the air, even the Mutant Sea Beasts with insight had their pupils shrinking to the size of a needle tip, wishing they could grow another leg and escape into the distance.

However, fortunately, the usually ferocious and bloodthirsty Sea Beast ignored them today, and instead, slithered its body away.

Swirling the seawater with a deafening boom, its massive figure shot into the distance like a sharp arrow, leaving the surrounding Mutant Sea Beasts gawking at each other.

…

At the same time, in the depths of a bottomless strait, another thunderous roar reverberated before a colossal figure, strange and hideous, slowly rose.

The figure resembled an enormous Tiger, but it was lacking the beautiful fur of a Tiger, and its Tiger-like head was covered in spikes.

Without a moment of hesitation, this massive figure also stirred up the waves, galloping towards the distance.

…

Shortly after, in a crystalline palace hidden deep in the sea, a golden-haired girl furrowed her brows slightly.

“What’s going on?” The Mermaid Queen — Else murmured subconsciously, puzzled.

She was adept at perception, and had sensed the awakening of those terrifying Sea Beasts, that usually remained dormant in the deep sea, through the sea currents.

In fact, although the Sea Beast Clan was powerful and extremely brutal, they had to remain dormant for a lot of the time.

For them, dormancy was akin to cultivation.

Yet, these powerful Sea Beasts had all forsaken dormancy and awakened, which had left Elsa perplexed.

With doubts in her mind, Elsa, the Mermaid Queen, immediately summoned her subordinates to investigate the movements of the Sea Beasts.

Although the Sea Beast Clan was nominally one of the Seven Clans of the Deep Sea, since the disappearance of the Sea Beast King, control over the Sea Beast Clan has been lost.

Worst, the Sea Beast Clan was anything but weak. Elsa knew that if there was really a problem, even the other Six Clans might be in big trouble, because she knew that among the powerful Sea Beasts, there were two ancient creatures that were far stronger than the rest, to the extent that even their Sea Clan Kings were somewhat wary of them.

…

At this moment, Yu Zi Yu had no idea about the commotion he had just caused. This was all just an experiment for him.

It would indeed be a boon if he could lure powerful Sea Beasts by planting the Dark Willow Tree at the bottom of the deep sea. However, even if this endeavor failed, he stood to lose nothing.

And now, all he needed to do was wait.

After all, he just felt strange but mysterious fluctuations spreading in all directions from the center of the Dark Willow Tree.

These fluctuations couldn’t be sensed by ordinary Mutant Sea Creatures. Even Yu Zi Yu only managed to perceive them because of his psychic power which far exceeded that of ordinary people.

These fluctuations were like summons, but there was something indescribably odd about them.

However, what Yu Zi Yu didn’t know was that the Sea Beast Clan was different from other Clans.

Initially, in order to better control the Sea Beast Clan, the Wise One of the Sea Clans had of the Sea Clan bestowed the Sea Beast King with the ‘Brand of King’ when creating him.

With this brand, the Sea Beast King had absolute dominance over other Sea Beasts. In case something unexpected happened to the Sea Beast King, other Sea Beasts could inherit this brand by devouring just a part of his body.

In fact, this brand was not just about suppressing the Sea Beast Clan, but to a certain extent, it was also a mark of inheritance. Furthermore, it was a mark that only the Sea Beast Clan could activate.

Although the Sea Beast Clan lacked intelligence, the mysterious thirst from deep within their bodies was enough to draw them in.

More importantly, the stronger the Sea Beast, the stronger the sense of this summon felt.

What does this imply?

*Roooaar, roooaar, roooaar…* Amidst fearsome roars, countless powerful Sea Beasts could be seen awakening from their slumber in the vast and boundless deep sea, converting from all directions.

The appearance of the Brand of King was definitely going to trigger a bloodbath.

In the dark depths of the seas, which had never been calm, a storm had been stirred up once again.

Except, there were a pair of eyes hidden in the shadows of the deep seas that few would be able to notice, quietly observing the Dark Willow Tree rooted in the rocks.

“These fluctuations don’t seem simple,” muttering softly, Yu Zi Yu chose to silently wait as well.

Unlike the land, the deep sea was extremely vast. Yu Zi Yu was destined to wait for a while.

In addition, the place where Yu Zi Yu chose to plant the Dark Willow Tree was also extremely extraordinary; Sea Beasts with mediocre strength might not even be able to reach this place.

As such, the Sea Beasts that could arrive before Yu Zi Yu after these layers of screening would be extremely formidable.

But no matter how formidable they were, it wouldn’t matter. Yu Zi Yu had already refined this Dark Willow Tree. If his consciousness descended here, he could exert 1-2% of his strength with the aid of this Dark Willow Tree.

Yu Zi Yu believed that in this world, there were not many who could withstand even that much.
