Just at this moment, a voice suddenly echoed behind Golden Monkey, “Big Brother…”

“Mhmm.” Responding with a nod, Golden Monkey slowly turned around, where he saw a Monkey with the height of an average Human and three pairs of ears. His fur was also golden, but not as vibrant as Golden Monkey’s.

This was Auris, one of Yu Zi Yu’s three Amazing Young Beasts, while the other two were Lupin and Slytherin.

These three young beasts were far more terrifying than other Mutant Beasts of the similar age. However, Yu Zi Yu always regarded them as the next generation, and had never used them as combatants.

In fact, Auris was already a Tier-3 Transcendent, in the Realm of Monarch. Moreover, having been under the tutelage of Golden Monkey, he possessed a lot of skills in his arsenal.

For instance, Auris could have understood Golden Monkey’s thoughts even if Golden Monkey hadn’t spoken, and it was because of the ability, Divine Ears, which allowed him to hear the voice of all the beings and all the sounds in the world.

This was a very famous Divine Ability, one of the Six Divine Abilities of Buddhism.

As Auris was born with extraordinary talent, this Divine Ability was just perfect for him.

Of course, the most important thing here was that Golden Monkey’s inherited memories seemed to have a deep connection with Buddhism of the previous era, even hiding Divine Abilities of Buddhism.

One had to admit, this was truly Auris’s destiny.

Currently, Auris had just mastered the Divine Ears to the  Elementary Level, yet with just a slight shake of his ears, he could even hear everyone’s thoughts.

Unless the target possessed extremely high Spiritual Energy and actively shielded their mind, no one could keep secret from him.

“Hehe…” Grinning, Auris, who already understood Golden Monkey’s thoughts, took the initiative to speak, “The Divine Tree should be the most terrifying existence in our Misty Mountain, right?”

“Indeed,” Golden Monkey admitted with a nod.

However, after a moment, as if realizing something, the corners of Golden Monkey’s mouth twitched, and a terrifying Spiritual Energy enveloped him.

In an instant, Auris could no longer hear anything despite shaking his ears. All he captured was the fluctuation of Spiritual Energy, like the roars of a tsunami. However, Auris didn’t care about this. Instead, he half-jokingly stated, “Big Brother, given you fearsome strength, it’s not a good idea to always hide your true abilities.”

“Hiding my true abilities…” Shaking his head, Golden Monkey frankly explained, “I’m not hiding my true abilities, it’s just out of habit. Also, you need to understand, while Misty Mountains might seem calm, they are actually riddled with hidden dangers. For instance, many powerful Mutant Beasts had secretly sneaked in not too long ago.”

Hearing this, Auris’s expression also turned cold as he snorted. “If it weren’t for you stopping me, I would have already killed them.”

“You can indeed kill those Transcendents in the Realm of Monarch with ease, but what about the two in the Realm of Sovereign?”

At these words, Auris shrugged and stated, “Isn’t that what you’re here for?”

At this point, curiosity filled Auris’ face, asking, “Big Brother, can you tell me, have you stepped into the Realm of the Emperor of the World?”

*Haaa…* Golden Monkey couldn’t help but heave a sigh, feeling helpless at the sight of Auris who looked like a curious kid.

After a moment, he looked up and glanced at Misty Mountains before slowly speaking, “The Realm of the Emperor of the World is just about sensing ones surroundings, and then integrating one’s aura into it. For those of us with inheritances, such a realm isn’t difficult.”

Saying so, Golden Monkey briefly paused before adding, “However, to truly step into it, I may have to wait…”

“Why?” Puzzled, Auris looked at Golden Monkey with a face full of doubt.

As for Golden Monkey stepping into the Realm of the Emperor of the World, Auris did not find it strange.

After spending three years together, he had long discovered the profound and unfathomable nature of his Big Brother, further accredited by the fact that even the Divine Tree constantly summoned him.

However, what he failed to understand, and even puzzled was why his Big Brother did not reveal that he had already stepped into the Realm of the Emperor of the World.

*Haaa…* Heaving another sigh, Golden Monkey patted Auris’ head and explained, a rare feat on his part, “In Misty Mountains, the Nine Great Beasts are the highest. If I were to step into the Realm of the Emperor of the World before them, it would inevitably attract gossip… If not handled properly, it might even cause quite a stir…”

At this point, Golden Monkey glanced at the sky and added, “Also, you must remember, one must always have a hidden card. It’s not only true for individuals, but even for an organisation. Existences like me are the hidden cards of Misty Mountains…”

Auris was slightly shocked by this revelation.

‘So, it’s like this! Big Brother is actually a hidden card!’ Murmuring in his heart, as Auris looked at the weathered face of his Big Brother, an inexplicable feeling washed over him.

In a daze, the Big Brother, who was not much older than him, took the form of an elder, silently watching over this part of Misty Mountains from the shadows.

However, just at this moment, Golden Monkey added with a laugh, “However, there’s one thing you can rest assured about. The Divine Tree won’t treat us unfairly. If it weren’t for his covert care, our Monkey Clan wouldn’t have developed so rapidly. Don’t forget, you and I have never lacked resources for cultivation.”

Nodding, Auris also agreed with this point. Compared to many Mutant Beasts, and even some core forces of Misty Mountains, their Monkey Clan was somewhat favoured.

However, this favouritism couldn’t be brought to light.

With a smirk, Auris looked towards the gradually transforming Towering Tree in the distance, his eyes flickering.

An inexplicable awe filled his heart. The more he understood, the more he felt his own insignificance.

This was the Divine Tree. An existence that made all the Mutant Beasts of Misty Mountains willingly submit to. It was not only because of his strength, but also because of some things that were never mentioned.

…

Meanwhile, Yu Zi Yu had no idea about the rare secret conversation between Golden Monkey and Auris.

For him, it was just a habit.

The Nine Great Beasts were the cards open to the public, while secretly, he kept amassing one hidden card after another..

It was just a habit, nothing more.

In addition, Golden Monkey was indeed unfathomable compared to other Mutant Beasts, not because of his strength, but because of the countless inheritances he possessed.

Those inheritances had provided Yu Zi Yu a lot of help. Thus, Yu Zi Yu naturally felt the need to reciprocate in kind, secretly preparing various resources, Life Essences, and Spirit Stones for Golden Monkey.

As for Golden Monkey stepping into the Realm of the Emperor of the World, Yu Zi Yu really had no idea about it. After all, he was immersed in cultivation most of the time. So, occasional neglect was inevitable.

If he had the leisure to inspect Misty Mountains with his senses, Golden Monkey’s breakthrough should not have escaped his notice.

Unfortunately, Yu Zi Yu rarely inspected like that. Rather than carrying out this kind of inspection, Yu Zi Yu preferred to use the mist to roughly grasp the situation of the entire Misty Mountain.

However, what was particularly interesting here was that Golden Monkey had mistaken Yu Zi Yu’s deduction using Evolution Points as having gained enlightenment.

If Yu Zi Yu knew about this, then his understanding of Evolution Points might have risen to a higher level.

After all, enlightenment was a great opportunity that may come with luck, but not by searching for it

So what kind of mystery did the Evolution Points hold that they could bring him into a state similar to enlightenment?
