“This is just the beginning.” Amidst a faint voice, a small Dragon Head popped out from the depths of the dark clouds.

Although young, he lacked none of the majesty and ferocity typical of the Giant Dragons known by western literature. After all, his entire body happened to have purple lightning arcs streaking all over at this moment.

Each of the purple lightning arcs was strong enough to burn a Tier-2 Transcendent into a pile of bones.

With such power, one could easily imagine how terrifying this figure was.

Meanwhile, after melting the valley below, Little Tenth didn’t linger and left.

Compared to an ordinary Tier-3 Transcendent like the one in the valley, he was more interested in the descendents of the so-called Superior Clans.

After all, while it may look as if Misty Mountains were attacking the entire continent, in secret, they were hunting the myriad clans.

All races that should not exist in this world were on their list of targets, like the Three-Eyes Clan, the Titan Clan, and the strange and unusual Ghost Clan.

With these thoughts in mind, Little Tenth flapped his enormous Dragon Wings, disappearing into the depths of the dark clouds like a bolt of lightning.

Only the faintly flickering, gradually disappearing purple lightning arcs seemed to be silently conveying something.

…

Meanwhile, not only China, but even the Alliance of Southeast Asian Nations and distant Russia were in a complete pandemonium.

“What’s going on?”

“Have Misty Mountains gone mad?”

“My god, this is a disaster!”

One after another, alarmed cries filled the highest offices of various nations.

And all this was because, just a while ago, they discovered countless powerful Mutant Beasts emerging from Misty Mountains–the most elusive and the most terrifying area on the continent, designated as the ‘First Forbidden Zone.’

Not one, not two, but countless.

Even the Catastrophe Class, Tier-3 Mutant Beasts were in huge numbers.

And now, these terrifying creatures happen to be spreading out in all directions at a terrifying speed, towards the North Pole, the Taklamakan Desert, the Great Prairie, and even their own countries.

*Gulp..* A powerful Russian Superhuman couldn’t help but gulp nervously, turning pale.

After a moment, as if thinking something, he immediately shouted, “Send someone to the Iron Fist Tyrant and inquire about what’s going on with Misty Mountains.”

“Yes, sir,” responding promptly, several figures hurried towards the city where the Iron Fist Tyrant resided.

The Iron Fist Tyrant, Benson, was a Russian who was very close to Misty Mountains.

There were rumors that he had signed some kind of contract with Misty Mountains.

It was because of his leadership that countless Superhumans close to Misty Mountains secretly formed an alliance.

Originally, this alliance had no name. However, at the suggestion of some high-level Superhumans, it was called ‘Root.’

Root–a shadow organization formed by the pieces buried among Humans by Misty Mountains, constantly providing resources for Misty Mountains.

Iron Fist Tyrant never denied his connection with Root.

After all, being able to exchange a large amount of resources for cultivation resources and various Spirit Herbs and Flowers was something ordinary people could only dream of.

More importantly, the members with top contribution could undergo baptism in Misty Mountains and even bring back a powerful Mutant Beast as a mount.

Considering this, one could only imagine the considerable gain those in Root might have obtained from Misty Mountains.

However, because of this, Root was regarded as a thorn by upper echelons of various countries.

If it weren’t for the fact that Root was shrouded in a veil of mystery and its members had grown extremely strong thanks to the support of Misty Mountains, the Human countries would have uprooted it long ago.

However, now… watching the sudden onslaught of Misty Mountains, these countries couldn’t sit still. They urgently wanted to know what was happening.

The only one who could give them answers was the mysterious organization hovering between Humans and Misty Mountains, Root.

Meanwhile, unbeknownst to various countries…

In a mysterious corner of the continent…

Eleven mysterious figures were sitting around a round table.

Upon a closer look, one would find that some of these figures were ethereal, almost like projections.

However, there was one thing common about these figures, all of them wore serious expressions.

“Iron Fist Tyrant, do you know what’s going on with Misty Mountains?” In a hoarse voice, a ASEAN Superhuman, who had also signed a contract with Misty Mountains, was the first to speak up.

“No, I don’t.” Benson shook his head in helplessness.

Although various countries tacitly regarded ‘Root’ as a subordinate force of Misty Mountains, Root had never acknowledged it. They mostly considered themselves to have a close cooperation with Misty Mountains.

Of course, even so, it didn’t change the fact that they were close to Misty Mountains.

Yet now, when Misty Mountains suddenly started attacking, they had received no information; the decision seemed to have come out of nowhere.

And indeed, it was.

If it weren’t for suddenly sensing the impending Third Spiritual Energy Tide, Yu Zi Yu would not have made such a decision.

*Haaa…* Heaving a sigh, a Chinese Superhuman among them also expressed helplessness, “Just now, the higher officials in the government have sent a message, wanting to know the status quo of Misty Mountains from me.”

At these words, the corners of many figures’ eyes twitched.

Obviously, everyone else had been questioned to some extent.

Although their signing of a contract with Misty Mountains was a secret, over the past three years, their respective governments had more or less already figured out their identities.

If it weren’t for their always being the kind to keep a low profile, they might have already been at war with their governments.

Right at that very moment…

*Screech!* Suddenly, a sharp screech echoed in the darkness.

Everyone promptly turned their head and looked towards the source, where they saw a faint streak of light shooting towards them in the distance outside the window.

The next moment, much to their excitement, a fist-sized Peregrine Falcon quietly landed on the window.

Its expression remained as cold and stern as ever, while its eyes gleamed with arrogance, giving the impression of a proud king amidst the darkness

At this moment, looking at everyone, the ninth oldest among the Peregrine Falcons, also known as Fal IX turned his gaze to Iron Fist Tyrant, whom he was most familiar with, and stated coldly, “In the name of the Divine Tree, Misty Mountains will be attacking the whole continent. If you want to stay out of trouble, just behave.”

At this point, Fal IX’s voice suddenly softened, “And if you have any information about powerful Mutant Beasts or even Prodigies other races, you can also inform Misty Mountains. If the information is accurate, you’ll receive the appropriate reward. If you can capture them alive, you can even receive major merit.”

After delivering the message, Fal IX paid no attention to the stiff or even pale expressions of the members of Root led by Iron Fist Tyrant. He just flapped his wings and disappeared from their sight in a flash.
