Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1647: Visit Asura Demon Race

”He’s the one behind the changes in the Moonlit Passion Temple, Mother.”

”Moonlit Passion Temple?”

Sha Huo nodded. ”Back in the forest, we saw dozens of women wearing the sect’s uniform. All of them were his wives, so I’m sure he’s the mysterious person.”

”Did he tell you his purpose for doing this to us? What did Wu Mian mean by those shadowy creatures before?”

Sha Huo created a qi screen, showing those shadowy creatures. ”According to him, they haven’t appeared in this Paradise Realm, and they have only appeared in the Ancient Realm. They are too powerful, and there is a possibility that they will invade this realm one day, so he wants to unite all the races to deal with them.”

”Hmm?” Sha Yuan folded her forehead as she looked at those creatures. ”What do you mean by the Ancient Realm?”

”The Ancient Realm is a higher realm after the Paradise Realm.”

”What?” Sha Yuan screamed, looking at her son. ”Are you kidding me? Are there other realms higher than this Paradise Realm?”

Sha Yuan shrugged. ”I don’t know anything about it, but I think the Ancient Realm really exists. I don’t know how he found that realm and went there, but he and Empress Huo are there now.”

Sha Yuan found it difficult to believe the Ancient Realm existed because there were no records mentioning it in the Paradise Realm. However, she knew that Empress Huo was different from other cultivators, and she could do things that other cultivators, including Long Wuzhao, the ten demon gods, and the four perils, could not.

”Mother.”

”Hmm?”

”I think you should persuade my father to side with him.” Sha Yuan frowned. ”We don’t know anything about those creatures, and he didn’t explain much to us. However, he previously said that he and Empress Huo had already fought with them in the Ancient Realm, and neither of them could defeat them.”

”Not even Empress Huo can defeat those creatures?” Sha Yuan was shocked because all the cultivators in the Paradise Realm were so afraid of Feng Yao.

”No.”

Sha Yuan’s expression turned serious after that because Feng Yao was the strongest cultivator in the Paradise Realm, making her think about several things. However, she wasn’t confident in convincing her husband to side with Zhang Fei.

”I’ll go back to my room now, Mother.” Sha Huo immediately left after his mother nodded.

”Mother.”

Sha Qingge’s call brought Sha Yuan out of her thoughts. ”What did he say to you, Qingge?”

”Ugh!” Sha Qingge blushed. ”He said that I’m his woman, and he’ll claim me in the future. I like kissing him, but I don’t have any feelings for him yet because we’ve only met three times so far. Besides, he’s too crazy because he has more than a hundred wives, including Demon God Mingran and Demon God Qingxiu. If he takes me as his wife, I will have to compete with all of them, so I don’t want that.”

Sha Yuan caressed her daughter’s head. ”Even though you say that, I can see that Qi Qingxiu and Ye Mingran are enjoying their decision to become his wives. They are both demon gods on the same level as your father, and many powerful demons covet them as their wives, but they both reject them all. Besides, I’ve heard that Qiongqi is infatuated with Qi Qingxiu, and he has repeatedly tried to get her here, but his efforts have always met with a dead end.”

”Even though Demon God Mingran and Demon God Qingxiu enjoy their status as his wives, that doesn’t mean I will feel the same way, Mother.” Sha Qingge sulked with a pout. ”I’ve always dreamed of finding my prince charming who loves only me, but I haven’t been able to find one because all the men I know have more than one wife.”

”Unfortunately, I can see that he will never let you go, and he will probably eat you after his business with your father is finished.” Sha Qingge lowered her head as she was already aware that Zhang Fei would not let her go. ”You should go back to your room and rest.”

”Yes, Mother.” Sha Qingge kissed her mother’s cheek before running away.

After her daughter left, Sha Yuan sat back down and released her soul. She examined her soul, but she found nothing negative within it, which relieved her. She was furious when she remembered that Zhang Fei duplicated her soul and merged the duplicate with her soul. ”Tch! How could he do that? I’ve never met a demon that could duplicate souls, let alone a lust demon. Will he really free me and my two children if my husband agrees to join him? If he doesn’t free us, we will be forced to submit to him for the rest of our lives.”

Zhang Fei [5] and the others had already returned to Qi Qingxiu’s domain. He sent Nalan Shizhe, Ye Mingran, Jiu Mozu, Jiu Moze, and Wu Mian back to their domains because they still had to wait a week to go to the Torture Demon Race Domain.

”What are you going to do now, husband?” Qi Qingxiu asked.

”I’m going to the Slaughter Blood Domain to meet Shang Luohu.”

”I’ll come with you.” Qi Qingxiu suddenly remembered something. ”Hey, husband, I forgot to tell you that the previous Torture Demon God is still alive, and he will come out to help Ku Shenzu if we attack him.”

Zhang Fei [5] remembered Nalan Shizhe once told him that the four former demon gods were still alive, but the former Celestial Demon God had already died after he passed on his final power to Mo Tianshen, so only three remained, including the former Torture Demon God. ”What about your ancestor?”

”She came to see me a few years ago, but she was getting weaker, and she wanted to enjoy the end of her life in peace.” Zhang Fei [5] nodded in understanding. ”Since the former Celestial Demon God is dead, I think you can ask Nalan Shizhe to contact her predecessor to help us.”

Zhang Fei [5] declined with a shake of his head. ”My mother-in-law once told me that her predecessor doesn’t want to get involved in external affairs, so I won’t bother her. Besides, my father-in-law and Long Wuzhao are willing to help us, so I think that’s enough.”

”If the two of them are willing to help us, we’ll easily subdue the Torture Demon Race. That way, the six demon races will be on the same side, and we just need to figure out how to win over the other four.”

”Yeah.” Zhang Fei [5] immediately took Qi Qingxiu to the Slaughter Blood Domain through the gate.

”Zhang Fei? Demon God Qingxiu? Why are you two suddenly here?” Shang Luohu asked in surprise, as did Shang Zhui, who was standing not far from the asura demon empress.

”We have important information about your husband.”

Shang Luohu wrinkled her nose because her husband had lived in seclusion for so many years. ”What kind of information is that?”

”A witch demon infiltrated this palace several years ago, but you were unaware of it.” Zhang Fei’s answer shocked them. ”Sha Mo asked a witch demon named Wu Han to use a potion on your husband, so he’s under her control now.”

”What?” Shang Luohu screamed in shock. ”Where did you get that information?”

”Sha Yuan.” Shang Luohu frowned. ”We just came back from her domain, and I did something to her, so I was able to get all this information.”

”Are you thinking about pulling Sha Mo over to your side, kid?” Shang Zhui walked towards them.

Zhang Fei [5] nodded at him. ”I told you two about those shadowy creatures before, but I didn’t know their strength at the time. However, I’ve fought them, and they’re far more powerful than I imagined; even Empress Huo couldn’t defeat them. Moreover, those creatures are just pawns, and the core creature is far more powerful. I haven’t met it yet, but it has already destroyed a large domain with just one small attack. If it invades this Paradise Realm, all domains will definitely be destroyed without a single one remaining.”

”Where did you two fight with those shadowy creatures?”

”One of the domains in the Ancient Realm,” Shang Luohu and Shang Zhui gasped. Zhang Fei [5] created a qi screen, showing them the Cangxuan Domain. ”See? That domain is so big, but the core creature destroyed it with just one small attack.”

Shang Luohu and Shang Zhui did not listen to Zhang Fei [5]; Instead, they looked at the image on the qi screen with awe. None of the cultivators in the Paradise Realm had ever heard of the Ancient Realm in the past, but he had already gone there, and the image on the qi screen was proof of that, as they had never seen the domain before.

Zhang Fei [5] removed the qi screen. ”For now, I want to bring as many cultivators as possible to my side, and they will help me to monitor all the domains so we can take swift action if those shadowy creatures invade this Paradise Realm. As for your husband, I have no solution to recover him, and the only one who can help him recover is Wu Han.”

”What exactly does Sha Mo want? Why did he lower his self-esteem by asking a witch demon to do that to my husband?”

”Sha Mo wanted to use your husband to attack the other demon race, but his ultimate goal was to sacrifice him to deal with Mo Shentian.” Shang Luohu and Shang Zhui were shocked to hear that. ”Even though I can’t help you recover your husband’s condition, I can prevent that from happening to him.”

Zhang Fei [5] opened the training space and asked Shang Xueli to come out from inside, surprising Shang Luohu and Shan Zhui.

”Mother.” Shang Xueli immediately ran to hug her mother. ”I missed you so much.”
