Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1608: Capture Qian Qin

As she made her way to the tower, Yue Ningxue barely saw a single cultivator in the other forest areas. In the final area, she met the members of the War God Pavilion led by Dugu Qingshu, escorted by Dugu Nanshan and Dugu Qingwen.

Yue Ningxue didn’t stop to greet them, and the people from the War God Pavilion didn’t stop her either.

”Elders, I didn’t expect that woman to come here.”

”According to our sect master, Liang Huizhong is also on his way here, and they are targeting several people inside the tower.”

”Who?”

”I don’t know that person, but our sect master told me that his name was Zhang Fei, and he was the mastermind behind the changes in the Moonlit Passion Temple several years ago.”

Dugu Qingshu had heard about the Moonlit Passion Temple’s change from a dual cultivation sect to a universal one, and he had also heard that the sect never stopped recruiting new disciples.

”According to our sect master, Zhang Fei managed to reach the ninth challenge on the second floor in seventeen days. Only a few cultivators, including Empress Huo, have managed to do.” Dugu Qingshu looked at Dugu Qingwen in shock. ”Even our sect master needed several months to complete all the challenges on the second floor, and only a few of your seniors have entered the final three challenges.”

”Who has reached the last three challenges?”

”Dugu Xuanye, Ru Feiyan, and a few others.”

Dugu Qingshu nodded slightly. ”How about we also go to that tower, Elders? Those demons should also have reached the second floor, right? Moreover, Empress Huo, the three seniors, and the three male dragons are in the tower now, so I think we don’t need to worry about those demons anymore.”

Dugu Nanshan and Dugu Qingwen exchanged glances before locating all the disciples of their sect.

”Those beasts are no longer their opponents, so I think we can go to the tower now.”

”Let’s gather them now.”

After all the disciples had gathered, Dugu Qingshu led them to the Tower of Eternity.

When she arrived at the first floor of the Tower of Eternity, Yue Ningxue saw that the demons from the Torture Demon Race and the Thousand Eyes Demon Race were already approaching the second floor.

Unlike the two demon races, the demons from the Heavenly Fiend Demon Race were still some distance away from the ascending stairs, and Yue Ningxue could tell that they were deliberately slowing down.

Yue Ningxue looked at the demons of the three demon races, but she remembered Zhang Fei’s words not to do anything to the demons of the Heavenly Fiend Demon Race. Without a second thought, she immediately began the challenge on the first floor.

Ku Yu, Ku Shan, and Ku Yin were shocked by Yue Ningxue’s arrival, making them think that all the ancestors of the Divine Samsara Sect had already arrived in that domain.

”Shit!” Ku Yu cursed to himself. ”That woman is one of the ancestors of the Divine Samsara Sect, right, Elders?”

”Yue Ningxue is the ancestor of the Celestial Moon Sect, but she is also one of the ancestors of the Divine Samsara Sect. Her ice element is simply too powerful, and only the women of the Ice Phoenix Race can surpass her.” Ku Yin looked at Ku Shan. ”Do you think we should retreat now? If all the higher-ups and ancestors of the sect come here, we won’t be able to defeat them with our strength. I’m not afraid of dying at their hands, but we must protect our young lord.”

Ku Shan thought for a moment before speaking to Ku Yu. ”Young Lord, you must give up and return to our domain now.”

”Aren’t you two coming back with me?”

”No,”

”We will try to capture more cultivators on the second floor to make our demon god’s plan a success, and we will escape from this tower if we cannot control the situation.”

”But-”

”Please leave before it’s too late, Young Lord.”

”Young Lord, you don’t need to worry about us; they won’t be able to stop us if we want to escape.”

Just as Ku Yu was thinking about that, the people from the War God Pavilion arrived on his floor, which made their situation even more difficult. He looked at his two grand elders and race members. ”Alright, I’ll give up and return to our domain immediately! You two must return safely, Grand Elders!”

After he said that, the tower immediately sent Ku Yu out and returned him to the forest entrance. Without further ado, he took out his flying artifact and left the Glazed Heaven Domain at high speed.

Meanwhile, Ku Shan and Ku Yin led their demon race members to continue their challenge, as they were already close to the second floor.

Qian Yu and Qian Qin were also nervous about the arrival of Yue Ningxue and the second group from the War God Pavilion. Initially, they thought their task would be easy, but the situation changed with the arrival of Feng Yao, the three senior cultivators, and the three dragons. The situation became even more dire with the arrival of those people, especially one of the ancestors of the Divine Samsara Sect.

”Prince, you must take our princess away in this domain as quickly as possible.” Qian Hufeng spoke.

Qian Kuang looked at Yue Ningxue. ”Empress Huo and the three dragons didn’t attack us, but that woman is different from them, and she will attack us directly if she reaches our area. She is much stronger than us, and her ice element is very deadly, though it is still not as deadly as the women from the Ice Phoenix Race.”

”I understand, Grand Elders.” Qian Yu looked at his sister. ”Qin, we must give up these challenges and return to our domain, or we will die at the hands of that woman.”

”Yes, Brother.”

After they surrendered, the two were immediately sent back to the forest entrance. However, Qian Yu was shocked because Qian Qin suddenly disappeared from his side, and he couldn’t find her anywhere.

Qian Kuang frowned after he got the message from Qian Yu. ”Our princess disappeared as soon as they arrived outside.”

”What?” Qian Hufeng screamed. ”How could that happen? How could our princess disappear?”

Qian Kuang shook his head. ”Our prince is looking for her now, but he said that he couldn’t track our princess’ aura.”

”Should we give up and look for our princess?”

Qian Kuang thought. ”Let some of our race members help our prince search for her, and we’ll go to the second floor as soon as possible. Our princess is important, but our demon god’s plans are far more significant than hers, and we can’t let his plans fail.”

”Alright.” Qian Hufeng ordered some of his demon race members to surrender and help Qian Yu search for Qian Qin. After that, he and Qian Kuang continued with their plan.

The situation of the princess of the Thousand Eyes Demon Race reached the ears of the demons of the Heavenly Fiend Demon Race, but they weren’t too surprised. ”Do you think it was Zhang Fei who kidnapped Qian Qin, Brother?”

”Zhang Fei was able to defeat Grand Elder Huoran easily, so it wouldn’t be difficult for him to kidnap Qian Qin, especially without the protection of her two grand elders.” Sha Huo looked at his grand elder. ”What do you think he will do to her?”

Sha Huoran sighed. ”Zhang Fei must have heard about the abilities of the middle eye and the strength of Demon God Qian Yan, and I believe he wouldn’t dare to fight him head-on. Perhaps he wanted to use Qian Qin to monitor her father, but he didn’t know her father’s character.”

”Yes.” Sha Huo nodded. ”I don’t know the truth, but I’ve heard rumors that Demon God Qian Yan isn’t concerned about the fate of his children.”

”The rumors are true, Prince. I’ve heard that Demon God Qian Yan has a secret that no one knows about, and it has something to do with the Four Perils.”

”The Four Perils?”

”I don’t know his secret myself, but I heard that Mo Shentian didn’t dare attack him because of their relationship. The Celestial Demon God is indeed powerful, but Taotie and his three brothers are even more powerful, and I also heard rumors that they are supported by a demon beast that is much stronger than them.”

”Are there any other demon beasts stronger than the Four Perils, Elder Huoran?”

”I heard about it through rumors, so I can’t confirm its veracity.” Sha Huoran looked at Yue Ningxue, realizing that she hadn’t looked in their direction. ”I don’t know what happened to that woman, but I feel that she didn’t intend to target us, and she is targeting the other two demon races. Even so, we must be careful of the people from the War God Pavilion, and we shouldn’t approach them.”

Sha Huo also looked at Yue Ningxue and the others. ”If they intend to attack us, we should immediately give up on these challenges, Grand Elders.”

”Yes,” Sha Huoran agreed. ”Let’s continue for now.”

Qian Qin was shocked when Feltia [2] appeared in front of her, and he had already sealed her cultivation when he kidnapped her. ”Tch! I suspected from the start that you were targeting us!”

”Hehe,” Feltia [2] restricted Qian Qin’s movements, approached her, and caressed her cheek. ”Honestly, I needed someone to monitor your father’s movements, but your brother kept his guard up against me. Therefore, I deliberately targeted you, Princess.”

Qian Qin snorted at him. ”Heh! I don’t know the reason behind your intention to monitor my father’s movements, but you don’t know anything about him.”
