The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 86: Chapter 86: On the Autumn Hunt Road (Part 1)

His most important task now is to solve the big trouble that is Han Jing!

As long as Han Jing dies unexpectedly during the autumn hunt, no one can be blamed!

However, to lead Han Jing into the Liangshan Snow Forest without anyone noticing is not an easy task. If it were before, he only needed to send a message to Han Jing, and Han Jing would definitely fall for it, but now, he couldn’t guarantee it...

Ever since that woman slapped Han Jing, she’s been acting strangely!

Su Xingyan felt a bit agitated and waved Cheng He out of the room.

He currently couldn’t muster any strength and needed to rest in bed to avoid making mistakes during the autumn hunt.

Thinking about how he was schemed by Han Jing, and it was very likely that the Jianghu doctor was also brought by Han Jing, made Su Xingyan feel he had never hated someone so intensely! He wished for her to completely disappear from this world!

Su Xingyan pondered for a long time but couldn’t come up with a foolproof plan, so he had to postpone and act according to the situation then. If all else fails, he might personally act as bait. There must be a way to trick Han Jing! This time, no matter what, he cannot allow Han Jing to return to Hanjing City alive!

Every year’s autumn hunt is an extremely significant event in Nanyao Country.

The Capital City’s distance from Liangshan is merely a four or five day’s journey, with the Emperor personally leading the imperial family and civil and military officials to the Liangshan Palace, leaving the Crown Prince in charge in the capital.

Han Jing, sitting idly in the carriage, looked at Su Yaogeng: ”Mother, why do we have to go to the autumn hunt?”

She really couldn’t find interest in this kind of event. Killing a few small animals, those people actually find joy in it, isn’t that childish?

Su Yaogeng, seeing her lazy demeanor, couldn’t help but feel curious: ”In past years, you always clamored to come play, what’s different this year? Just practicing Inner Strength isn’t enough; you should take the opportunity of the autumn hunt to practice more!”

Then she pinched her cold fingers slightly, frowning: ”Once winter comes, you become lazy, and your hands never get warm, you better exercise properly, or you’ll suffer come winter!”

Facing Su Yaogeng’s nagging whenever her matters were concerned, Han Jing felt rather helpless and had to raise both hands in surrender: ”Alright, alright, Mother, don’t worry, I’ll win first place in the autumn hunt for you, okay?”

Su Yaogeng burst into laughter, tapping her forehead: ”With your meager skills, winning first place, alright, alright, I’ll be waiting. If you bring me first place, I’ll give you a treasure!”

Han Jing’s eyes brightened instantly: ”What kind of treasure? Can I see it first?”

”Haha, you kid, you’re killing me with laughter, if I show it to you first, how can I take it back?” Su Yaogeng chuckled with delight.

Han Jing raised an eyebrow: ”I will definitely get first place!”

Isn’t it just hunting! In her past life, her shooting was the best among cold weaponry, hitting the mark every time, if she can’t win over those frivolous scions, what’s she even doing?

Nanyao Country is relatively open towards women, so the ladies of the noble families in the Capital City practice riding and archery just like the men. Every spring and autumn hunt, there is a hunting competition, and the top three winners get rewards. The first-place winner can even ask the Emperor to grant one wish. Of course, the request should also consider the Emperor’s mood, any proposal that’s obviously against him is impossible!
