The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 58: Chapter 58: The Game Has Only Just Begun

Han Jing earnestly said: ”Mother, are you willing to teach me martial arts?”

Su Yaogeng was taken aback for a moment, not expecting Han Jing to ask this, and couldn’t help but wonder: ”Didn’t you dislike learning martial arts? Moreover, your health has always been poor, practicing martial arts is quite demanding, I’m worried it might backfire.”

Han Jing has a naturally cold constitution since childhood, which makes her weaker compared to other children. Su Yaogeng didn’t spare efforts in giving her tonics, but the Imperial Physician also stated that relying solely on supplements wouldn’t have much effect. Hence, Su Yaogeng had considered teaching her martial arts, but Han Jing couldn’t persist for more than two days; her body was too weak, and the energy drain from martial arts was too severe, leaving Su Yaogeng worried she wouldn’t be able to endure, thus she gave up the idea.

”I lacked perseverance when I was young, naturally couldn’t keep at it. It’s different now. As long as mother is willing to teach me, I will definitely learn well.” Although Han Jing isn’t completely aware of her current physical condition, combining the energy her superpower exerted, she knows she must forcefully exercise her body to get stronger. She absolutely can’t entrust her life into others’ hands; she must have enough self-preservation ability. Only then can she peacefully do what she wishes.

Su Yaogeng pondered for a while and nodded: ”Alright, since you’re still young, it’s not too late. If you can indeed learn some internal cultivation methods, it would greatly benefit your health physically. Starting tonight, come find me at eight o’clock every evening, and I’ll teach you the method of practicing inner strength. Once you master it, learning techniques would be twice as effective with half the effort.”

Han Jing smiled and said: ”Thank you, Mother!”

”Jing’er, once you decide on something, execute it well. In this world, aside from irreversible destiny, there’s nothing that can’t be achieved.” Su Yaogeng looked at Han Jing and said earnestly.

Han Jing nodded.

At this moment, Aunt Xi had already brought people to serve the meal prepared for Han Jing. Su Yaogeng knew she hadn’t eaten after waking up, so she had already instructed the kitchen to prepare it.

There were no outsiders here, so they didn’t have to follow formalities. Han Jing ate casually while chatting with Su Yaogeng.

Su Yaogeng recalled the matter about Han Yan and asked: ”Why did you send Han Yan to Su Xingyan? Are you sincerely intending to help her?”

Su Yaogeng didn’t care about such matters; however, if it were her handling it, she definitely wouldn’t spare Han Yan. A maid lacking awareness dared to scheme against her Jing’er, as if she found the Princess Mansion life too comfortable!

”Of course, it’s true I’m helping her. She’s merely someone inconsequential; with her around, Su Xingyan’s days will be more exciting.” Han Jing instantly saw through Su Xingyan. A self-important, hypocritical individual with a malicious ambition—such a person naturally requires someone like Han Yan to hone against.

Dealing with someone doesn’t necessarily mean letting them die; there’s always something more entertaining than letting them die, and that’s making them wish they were dead.

Han Jing was never a benevolent person all along; in her previous life as an assassin, she had killed enough people, too mundane. Her principle is that those who deserve death must die immediately, while those detestable, they shouldn’t be allowed to die too easily.

Those people want to scheme against her, play with her—let’s see who ends up outsmarting whom? She’s no longer that brainless bully of a paper tiger.

The game has just begun.
