Back To The 80s: President's Doted Wife

Chapter 2008: Chapter 2010: Gone

Cheng Su brought Qi Xiaoqi home, closed the door, her expression somewhat panicked. Just the thought of someone secretly watching their every move made her hair stand on end.

”Did Uncle and the others leave?” Fei Yin sat on the sofa reading, looked up to see Cheng Su looking displeased and asked, ”What happened?”

Cheng Su glanced at the living room.

Fei Yin immediately understood her meaning, saying, ”Xiao Qi’s Grandma is taking a bath!”

Only then did Cheng Su come over, frowning as she said, ”Just now we were downstairs, Xiao Qi said it seemed like someone was glaring at us, but I couldn’t find anyone.”

Fei Yin straightened up and looked at Qi Xiaoqi, ”How could that be? Did you see it wrong? Xiao Qi...”

She hesitated slightly, and both Cheng Su and her child understood what she meant, thinking that Qi Xiaoqi was just two years old, perhaps couldn’t see clearly.

”I felt it,” Qi Xiaoqi said.

Cheng Su then explained, ”Xiao Qi, this child, has keen senses. In the past, when we were stalked, I didn’t know, but Xiao Qi saw it. He was too young, though, didn’t understand it was stalking. Later when we talked about it, he said he indeed saw someone following us.”

This is no trivial matter!

Fei Yin threw down her book, stood up and said, ”I’ll go down and take a look.”

Cheng Su pulled her, ”It’s so late, aren’t you afraid? How about I go down with you?”

Fei Yin smiled slightly, ”Not afraid, don’t forget what I do? Better you stay home with the child! I’ll be back soon!” Then she went out.

”Hey, Miss Fei, where are you going so late?” Mother Qi came out of the bathroom and happened to see her, asking.

Fei Yin smiled, ”Nothing much, I’m going downstairs to buy something, I’ll be back soon.”

The door closed, Cheng Su and Qi Xiaoqi exchanged a glance, and both mother and son had a somewhat solemn expression.

”Let’s go, I’ll give you a bath.” Cheng Su picked up Qi Xiaoqi and said to Mother Qi, ”Mom, you’ve sat on the train for so long, you should rest early.”

Mother Qi murmured, looking at Qi Xiaoqi, ”Would Xiao Qi like to sleep with Grandma?” It’s normal for grandkids to sleep with grandparents.

But Qi Xiaoqi’s hairs stood up hearing this, shaking his head like a rattle, shouting ”no,” and ran into the bathroom.

Mother Qi was left feeling embarrassed.

Although Cheng Su was helping Qi Xiaoqi bathe, the little boy was shy, covering himself with a towel in key areas, using a big ladle to pour water onto himself, without needing Cheng Su’s help.

”Do you think it could be Chiang Qing?” Cheng Su sat on a small stool, cupping her chin, holding her son’s small clothes on her lap as she asked him.

At this moment, faced with Mother Qi’s innocence, Qi Xiaoqi responded, ”Besides her, there aren’t any other enemies, right? Unless you have other love rivals or business enemies!”

Cheng Su pursed her lips, ”No, just her.” She thought for a while and felt powerless and upset, exclaiming, ”This person is so stubborn, really annoying! Acting like I stole her man, enough’s enough!”

Qi Xiaoqi said, ”Maybe in a past life, or the life before that, you did steal. A vendetta across lifetimes, so it’s an endless entanglement.”

Cheng Su glared at him, ”Hurry up and wash, don’t catch a cold.” She then rested her chin in thought, could it be like that? But her past life was still a mystery to her; how could she know what was what?

After finishing the bath and leaving the bathroom, Fei Yin returned, shaking her head, ”Walked around, didn’t find anything wrong, if there was, they’ve probably left!”

Cheng Su’s face darkened, this was quite troubling.
