Back To The 80s: President's Doted Wife

Chapter 1575: Chapter 1576: Senior Brother, You’re So Honest

The days are spent in the routine of raising a child. Cheng Su always thought that having a child would be very demanding, but in reality, it was different from what she imagined, all thanks to her obedient Qi Xiaoqi.

Ning Ge returned to the Capital, busy collaborating on business with Cheng Yaozu. At Joy Soon Loy Company, although Xiao Pinshan was promoted to the boss, he was still in the observation period. Cheng Su could not completely be hands-off, so she would occasionally return to the company to handle business, not to mention the affairs at the restaurant.

Every time she went out, she was constantly thinking about her son. Although his food was pre-expressed and frozen in bottles, ready to be warmed and drunk, or at worst, there was formula. But the child was still young, and she worried that he might cry if she wasn’t around.

However, every time she went out and returned home, the first question she asked her mother was if Qi Xiaoqi cried, and the answer was always no.

Cheng Su couldn’t help but sigh at how blessed she was to have such an obedient son.

Upon hearing his mother’s sigh, Qi Xiaoqi rolled his eyes in his heart. Since no one was around, he couldn’t be bothered to cry. It would be a waste of effort!

Every day, playing with Qi Xiaoqi made time fly by, and soon it was the start of the new semester.

Cheng Su fed the baby early, expressed a full bottle of milk, and told Qi Xiaoqi where she was going before handing him over to her mother and heading to school.

In September, the campus was filled with the scent of sweet osmanthus. Cheng Su, smelling the scent of osmanthus in the air, felt refreshed, and the campus also saw many new faces.

”Junior Sister Cheng Su.”

Ming Xiaofan ran towards her wearing a pair of sneakers, and Cheng Su greeted him with a smile, ”Senior Brother.”

”Oh my God, you’ve gained quite a bit of weight!” Ming Xiaofan exclaimed after looking her up and down.

That was indeed straightforward!

Cheng Su gritted her teeth, ”Senior Brother certainly speaks his mind.”

Ming Xiaofan laughed sheepishly and rubbed his nose, ”That’s just my personality. Don’t mind me, Junior Sister. I’ve been waiting for you for a while and was worried you wouldn’t come today. Is the baby doing well at home? Is it a boy or a girl?”

”It’s a boy, born on the 7th of July, very well-behaved,” Cheng Su replied with a smile. ”What were you waiting for me for?”

Ming Xiaofan walked with her and said, ”I’ll prepare a gift for your child later.” Then he added, ”I wasn’t waiting for anything in particular, just wanted to talk to you about the company matters. This is my last year at university. The company’s business is developing well. Since this is my last year in college, I’ll be working and interning more, so I’ll be spending less time at school and more at the company. If you need anything, come to the company or give me a call!”

Cheng Su nodded understandingly, ”I’m just a shareholder, so I don’t have much to bother you with. I’m just waiting for the dividends. Will there be any this year?”

Ming Xiaofan rubbed his hands and said, ”I think there will be, but not much.”

”No worries, these are just initial investments. Once the business matures, it will be fine.” Cheng Su said, ”Do you have any ideas for the company’s development? I also have some connections!”

Even though she was just a shareholder, as a shareholder, there was no one who didn’t want to make money. Cheng Su wouldn’t interfere with the big and small matters of Ming Xiaofan’s company, but she wouldn’t hesitate to contribute what she could for the company’s benefit, including her connections.

Ming Xiaofan’s eyes lit up, ”I was actually waiting for you to say that!”

He enthusiastically talked about the company’s development plans, which essentially involved expanding into bigger cities, as they offered more opportunities, and fortunately, Cheng Su had connections in both the Beijing and Guangdong Zones.
