Back To The 80s: President's Doted Wife

Chapter 1566: Chapter 1567: Promoting the Manager

Gao Hongbo taking out the photo of Qi Taiguo indeed gave Chiang Qing a strong stimulus, boosting her fighting spirit to the peak, so she followed him to several dinner parties, no longer afraid of the feeling of humiliation.

Compared to picking up the capital for revenge again, all the humiliation is nothing.

She depends on them, yet not really relying on them. If she wants to make anyone uncomfortable, she will do it herself. Only then will the current suffering be worthwhile and balanced out.

Chiang Qing’s activity was not just at Gao Hongbo’s villa; gradually, she reappeared in public. Jiang Dafang was the first to know about it, sensing that something was amiss, but thinking of Ning Ge’s words, he said nothing, just shifted the business focus towards Guangcheng and Hucheng.

Ning Ge had matters on his mind these days and didn’t notice this. After attending the banquet in Qing City, it was almost Mid-Autumn, and he was going back to the Capital. As to whether he was really going back to celebrate with his family as he claimed, that was up to individual opinion.

Cheng Su was also used to his back and forth. After knowing his plans, she discussed it with Cheng Yaozu and Ning Ge to find a qualified manager to take charge of Joy Soon Loy.

”...Xiao Pinshan has been with our company for quite some time. I’ve observed him coldly; he handles problems rather thoroughly and manages relationships quite well. He is not without acumen. If there really isn’t a better person, promoting him is fine. Anyway, he is now the head of the office.” Ning Ge said.

Cheng Su nodded slightly; she had also noticed Xiao Pinshan’s capabilities. Previously, when he was dating Ying Xiaoya, she was quite guarded about him, but later, she became more open-minded, and he did not disappoint her.

She then looked at Cheng Yaozu to see what he thought.

Cheng Yaozu knew this person was his former rival in love, feeling a bit uncomfortable, but he wasn’t someone who couldn’t separate personal and professional matters. Since these two bosses both said he was fit, there was nothing for him, as a shareholder, to argue.

”You guys decide, if it’s okay, then promote him!” Cheng Yaozu thought for a moment and said, ”If you feel he’s not quite qualified, you can send him out to study for a while, and then let him take the helm when he returns.”

Some companies are like this now, willing to train talent, and after they finish learning, continue to contribute to the company, which is also beneficial to one’s own company.

”That’s certain, but now isn’t suitable. Ning Ge is going back to the Capital, while on my side, Xiao Qi is still young. I also have to go to school, and my time at the company is extremely limited.” Cheng Su shook her head and said, ”Even if we want to send him out for training, it’s not now.”

She had said to Qi Taiguo back then that she would postpone having a child for her career and education, hoping that by the time she had a child, she wouldn’t miss the growth due to career pursuits. Now she was wondering if she should take a year off from her studies, let alone her career.

”Then let him intern first.” Cheng Yaozu thought about her situation.

Cheng Su had the same intention, and it was a good opportunity to see his capabilities.

Three shareholders, with three votes in favor. Since they all agreed, they decided swiftly. They quickly called in Xiao Pinshan and informed him of the decision of this small meeting.

Xiao Pinshan was somewhat surprised, and this surprise turned to joy. He had thought his short fling with Ying Xiaoya might make the bosses uncomfortable, and his achievements at the company would halt at the position of office manager, unaware he would still be promoted.

”I will definitely regard the company as my home, do my utmost to perform well, and lead the company to greater success!” Xiao Pinshan expressed his heartfelt commitment with excitement.

Cheng Su gave a few instructions, and the group held another small meeting on the topic of company development before dispersing.
