The Dark Rebirth of Pandora: Revenge of the Abyss

Chapter 231: Akari... I can bring Velvet back

Currently, I’m in Principal Akari’s office negotiating with her to be a substitute teacher instead of a student, but of course when I mentioned being a substitute teacher, she denied it.

Not due to lack of knowledge, but because she thinks I’m not fit to teach the students or offer them anything good, which I kinda expected.

”Akari, are you sure you won’t make me a substitute teacher?” My tone is not polite, it’s actually super arrogant because I have the upper hand in this situation.

”Yes, I won’t make you a substitute teacher, I don’t doubt the student death rate would increase if I made you a teacher,” She speaks without any filter, but she’s clearly uncomfortable with me.

Not just in appearance, but she even notices that I’m currently stronger than her now, it must be disturbing for her that a student who was previously weaker has become stronger than her in just a few months.

”Are you absolutely sure about this, Akari? I’m trying to be nice to you, I’m sure you won’t like the other option I’m gonna propose to you.”

”Yes, I am, and if you keep threatening me, I’ll expel you permanently from the academy.” She responds to my warning as if it’s a threat or a direct affront to her when I was just trying to be kind enough not to actually threaten her.

”...Is that how it’s gonna be?” I say one last time before threatening her with the things I discovered thanks to Grimm.

”Yes, that’s how it’s gonna be, now get out of my office,” She says, already a bit irritated.

”Okay, I’ll leave, but be aware that as soon as I walk out of this office, the entire kingdom will know that your former master is the 800-year-old demon king, and they’ll also know that you gave your virginity to her.”

”...” She freezes, completely frozen.

”What’s wrong, Akari? Cat got your tongue? Or does remembering your master’s dick invading you bring back too much nostalgia? I didn’t know you were the type who liked rape.”

Her master raped her a few times, or rather, she drugged her and had sex with her on a few rare occasions. Of course, Akari knew about this and only complained to her or punished her lightly with some magic.

But Akari loved her master so much that she didn’t mind, more precisely, Akari loved her master romantically, she just didn’t know how to say and accept it until her master died.

That’s why she relatively well accepted the times when her master used her to satisfy her lust.

Incredibly, Akari’s master also loved her, from what I learned from Grimm, this demon king used to go to many brothels and other places to have sex, and stopped after meeting Akari because she started to love Akari during the time they spent together.

In fact, the rape was an attempt to clearly show her love, since among demons it’s normal to kidnap and force your wife into relations at the beginning to demonstrate power and love.

However, since this demon king had spent a lot of time with humans and their rules, she thought Akari wouldn’t like to be kidnapped or forced, but she couldn’t contain her love, so she preferred to try to drug Akari to make things better for Akari and give Akari more pleasure.

In other words, drugging and raping Akari was her way of saying that she loved her and wanted to be with her, but since at that time she was pretending to be human, Akari didn’t know that her master was a demon and saw this rape as her master being just lustful.

Of course, in the end, this is just the way demons say they like someone, which is totally different from humans, of course this way is more direct and animalistic, but effective!

And anyway, it’s hard to call it rape when Akari clearly even liked it and never really tried to leave or abandon her master because she also loved her master.

”I-I don’t know what you’re talking about!” Akari tries to lie, but her voice trembles, her gaze wavers, and her whole body shows nervousness.

”Really? You don’t know? And that magic on your private parts? I don’t think you’d put an electric shield on your private parts for no reason, right?”

This was one of the methods to prevent her master’s libido. A extremely powerful electric magic that she keeps active all the time, of course, it’s not very noticeable due to Akari’s absurd mana control, but now that I’m very powerful, I can notice it.

Which exactly matches the descriptions that Grimm gave me through letters, I must congratulate that psychopath, she hit the nail on the head, I would never have imagined that Akari loves the former demon king.

”...”

”Why the silence, Akari? Did you think no one would find out that you were trained by the former demon king and that the color of your skin is the result of miasma released by the demon king himself?”

This explains her pale skin that has a very light purple tone, as if a few drops of purple paint had been poured into white paint.

”...” She seems completely frozen, not knowing what to say, but the fear is noticeable, no matter if she is the strongest mage of humanity, if this is revealed, she will become an enemy of humanity and even worse.

There must be a reason why Mikael fought her to the death, the kingdom would immediately try to warn my beloved Mikael, who would automatically want to hunt Akari for a fight to the death.

Precisely because the kingdom hates demons or anything related to them, and the nobles even end up having disagreements with the academy and its neutral rules that favor the commoners a little bit.

If there’s a chance for Akari to disappear, many nobles would be interested, in the end Akari has many enemies precisely because she tries to be fair.

”...Pandora, how...did you discover this?”

”This what? The fact that the demon king raped you every now and then and you accepted it as if it was nothing? Or the fact that you were trained by the demon king? Maybe it’s the fact that you love the demon king and can’t forget her?”

I say with pure sarcasm and disdain.

”Ah, I know, maybe it’s the fact that you were destined to be a street prostitute, then be dismembered and have your organs sold to pay a 12-year-old debt to the black market that you were trying to have a better life?”This is her past.

An orphan child without a family with a debt to the black market that could never be paid by her, which in the end would make her temporarily a prostitute and then have her organs and limbs sold, she was lucky to have talent for magic and catch the attention of the demon king.

’Grimm, you’re really scary!’ I think while savoring the power I have over Akari at the moment, this information from Grimm is a delight.

”In the end, the demon king liked you so much that she saved you from this terrible fate, that’s why you love her? You love her because she saved you from a terrible fate, took care of you and taught you magic?”

”Or do you love her because you can’t forget her using your body because she couldn’t control herself?” This demon king understands things! Sometimes it’s hard to control yourself when you have a cute and sexy beauty right next to you, I’m sure I would be a great friend of this particular demon king.

”...” Akari bites her lips hard without being able to respond, no matter what she says, this type of information is something that there are no excuses for, it’s too precise for her to just deny.

’If I’m not mistaken, the aphrodisiac blood I acquired as a characteristic came from this particular demon king.’ This demon king was a 120cm succubus, she had purple eyes and blonde hair.

According to what Grimm wrote to me, she constantly went to the human kingdom or other kingdoms pretending to be a mortal, and it was during this time that she met Akari, in other words, she barely worked for her own people and focused more on enjoying her own life.

”Are you feeling sad, Akari? Don’t you like me reminding you of your beloved master Velvet?” I say her name, which gives Akari a bitter face.

”You even know that...h-how did you discover all these things?”

”Who knows? Maybe I just have some good contacts who can discover very well-hidden things, but that’s not the important thing here, I want the temporary teacher position and you’re going to give it to me, aren’t you?”

”Or will I have to expose you to the whole world?”

”You really are a cruel person...Okay...I’ll make you a temporary teacher, choose the class and schedule you want...” She ends up giving in, Akari has a lot to protect, this academy is practically Akari’s life and she’s not willing to risk her beloved academy.

”Akari, what do you think if Velvet came back to life?” But there’s something interesting I can offer.

”...”

”Answer honestly.”

”...I-It would be great...”

”That’s nice, so you still love her too much to forget her, I wonder how far you’re willing to go for your beloved master.”

”...Pandora, where are you going with this?”

”Where am I going? It’s pretty simple, I can bring Velvet back to life.”

In fact, bringing dead demon kings back to life is ridiculously easy for one simple reason after I discovered the universal laws and talked to my mother.

The souls of all demon kings are ”stored” by my mother in the very title of demon king, meaning that none of them have disappeared or reincarnated, and as long as there is a catalyst, bringing them back to life is possible.

The biggest weakness of necromancy is that it cannot bring souls back, either because they have dispersed or because they have already reincarnated as new beings, but if the soul still exists in the same way it died and has not dispersed, it is possible to drag it back into a body, even if by force.

Of course, in this current plane of existence, it may be difficult to bring a soul back, but if it’s in one of the universes I created, I can bring demon kings back to life, similar to a reincarnation in another world.

Furthermore, since I devoured their corpses and stole characteristics, I automatically became the catalyst or rather the bridge that can reconnect them to life.

”Y-You can bring the master back?” Akari asks with hope, showing how much she loves her dear master.

”Ah yes, I can easily bring your beloved master back...” Unfortunately, this only works for demon kings, and I don’t see any reason to resurrect them, especially because they will be ridiculously weak since they no longer have the position of demon king and nor the power of my mother.

Basically, they are just souls that have gained a new weak body and will have at most some remnants of power, it would be great if I could resurrect other beings, but unfortunately I can’t.

”...What do you want in exchange for resurrecting my master?”

She speaks with determination, I knew I could use her love to my advantage, I only have to thank Grimm for informing me about these things.

”How far are you willing to go for your beloved master? Will you choose your master or humanity? Know that you can only have one of them.”

I want to take Akari out of the game, Akari is not a weak person.

She is one of humanity’s biggest cards along with Mikael, and if I take Akari and Mikael out of the game, humans will only have the heroes as their main point of strength.

I don’t fear Akari, but it’s a fact that she will cause hateful damage to my armies and my territory, so removing her from the war peacefully is very worthwhile.

”I...choose the master...” She speaks after thinking a bit, I knew she would choose love, that’s why love is something dangerous, it clouds and blinds your decisions, those who love someone should not let their love blind them.

Just like me, I don’t let my love blind my decisions and my goals, because I know how to separate love from my plans.

Akari has been blinded by love for so long that she can no longer see beyond her master, which is a joy for me, since if she likes her master more than humanity, she won’t mind betraying the humans.

”Great, Akari, we have a lot to talk about, so dear traitor of humanity, I’ll tell you how I can bring your beloved master back.”

I say with a malicious smile, it will be great to remove Akari from the war, in the end, intelligence is as important as raw power.
