The Dark Rebirth of Pandora: Revenge of the Abyss

Chapter 207: Was... kidnapped on my birthday...

’How did I end up like this...’ I wonder, sitting at a table in a dark place in front of a girl who smiles like a complete psychopath. I’ve somehow managed the huge feat of being kidnapped.

Of course, it all started at my birthday party. The day went by relatively fast for me, as I spent the whole time with Zephyra, playing, kissing, and chatting.

Then Zephyra and I changed into our party outfits, and from there, everything was fine. I received a guest list, and after everything was ready, the party began in the castle’s main hall.

At the party, I noticed that all the participants were very strong, some even stronger than me, but weaker than Freya, Calypso, and Lilith Nix Kaos.

Of course, I ended up not talking to anyone because there were two prominent beings at the party the Queen of the Vampires and the Queen of the Succubi, who is Elena’s mother. These two were the main highlights of the party.

So I started observing the Queen of the Succubi for a while, since I didn’t see the Queen of the Vampires. When I was about to talk to Elena’s mother, I was suddenly hugged from behind, and someone licked my neck. When I looked irritated at the culprit, I saw it was the Queen of the Vampires.

A girl who seemed to be around 120 centimeters tall, but with the striking feature of having an extremely pale and cold skin, as well as eyes so red they appear like pure blood.

I was about to tell her not to do that again, and... she simply kidnapped me with a distorted smile. She grabbed my hand tightly and teleported me, binding my entire body with blood-made restraints.

Apparently, she took me to her castle and gently placed me in a chair in front of a table. After putting me in the chair, she ”apologized” for the turbulent invitation and said I should just enjoy myself a bit.

And then she released me from the restraints, sat down in a chair across the table, and started staring at me with a smile that is so ”genuinely” sweet it’s sickening.

And so I was kidnapped on my birthday, which just ruins the day. I don’t know where I am, apart from being in front of someone with as much power as a goddess, and I’m still weakened by my smaller body that’s going through the teenager phase.

”...” I just stare at her, as she never stops smiling. Her feelings... are terrible. She has the same color of love as Zephyra’s, but extremely dark, meaning a love so great it’s practically sickening.

But I don’t understand why she has this color, after all, as far as I know, she’s a fan of strong people who have already died, and I’m still alive, so her sickening love doesn’t make sense since I’m not a dead one.

’...Is this lunatic just going to keep staring at me?’ Normally, I would say that Lilith was incompetent for letting me get kidnapped, but the thing is, I know what the Queen of the Vampires is, and I also know that she has as much power as a goddess.

It’s obvious that my current self has no chance of winning against her, and Lilith wouldn’t even have imagined anything, especially because the Queen of the Vampires is a guest at the party.

”...Haaa...” I sigh. I should be patient, she’s too strong for me, and unlike the meeting between the goddesses where they couldn’t attack me, here the Queen of the Vampires can actually attack and kill me.

”Could you... return me to my castle? It’s my birthday and I’ve barely enjoyed my party,” I decide to try talking.

”No, I’m not going to return you yet, my darling,” she says in a sweet voice, her smile never disappearing.

’...’

”What do you want from me?” I ask, feeling uncomfortable, wondering if this is what Zephyra felt when I stared at her obsessively.

”...You know, my darling, I’ve liked you so much ever since I found out you existed, aaahh you’re so beautiful!” she lets out a moan in the middle of her speech.

’Damn!! I got involved with a complete lunatic! It’s Freya’s fault, how dare she invite this weird psychopath to my party!’ I don’t know what to do, so I just wait for her to say something else.

”...”

”What’s your name?” I ask, even though I already know, feeling a bit nervous.

”Grimm Aliart” she says sweetly. It turns out that the ”noble” man from the human kingdom who is in the history books alongside Akari and Mikael is one of Grinn Aliart’s disguises the Queen of the Vampires.

She literally changed TWO letters in the name and voila, there’s her disguise. So she disguises herself as a man to obtain things from the human kingdom and do other strange things.

”Okay... Grimm, could you please send me back to my castle?”

”No, I still don’t know why you’re alive, so I’m not going to let you go,” she says as a ’girl’ enters and hands her a glass and a bottle, then leaves.

”...Could you explain why you want me dead?” This was almost an indirect threat.

”Oh no, no, no, I don’t want you to die, I practically have the Letter V,” she simply delivers the most impactful information possible.

”...”

Letter V = Vision 0 - The ability to see the past, present, and future.

One of the abilities of the name of the Primordial Goddess, and simply incredibly powerful.

”Hahahahaha don’t be so shocked, it’s not the true Letter V, just a much weaker copy, after all, I can only see the future, I’m unable to see the past and present,” she stands up and comes over to me, serving me the glass with the liquid in the bottle, which is obviously blood.

”What’s wrong, my darling, doesn’t my appearance please you?” I look a bit uncomfortable as she’s trying to be cute.

Her body starts to change, her body becomes larger, and her breasts become quite large, while only maintaining the white hair, pale skin, and blood-red eyes.

”How about this appearance? Does it suit you better, my darling?” She hands me the glass of blood, and I simply throw it away without caring if she’s watching. She’s really very good at shape-shifting.

”...Explain yourself,” I get up from the chair and move away from her.

”Of course, my darling, it’s quite simple. In my vision, you died,” she speaks without any filter, and it’s very strange to hear that I ”died” in someone’s vision.

”To be more precise, your future only holds death for you... but you... you’re here, I saw you die... again... and again, but every time I went to get your corpse, you were alive.”

My body shivers. I can’t believe there was someone hunting for my corpse even though I haven’t even died.

”I saw you die, no matter how many timelines I saw, you were always dead, millions... billions... trillions of timelines that always ended in your death.”

”But you always escaped death somehow, it was never your final end, even though it should have been. Yesterday, I saw your death at the hands of Thalor, who was a traitor and killed you in a duel... but you’re here.”

”No matter how it happened, you never defeated him, he always gave you blows enough to end your life because of his sword,” she seems a bit crazy talking about this.

”And even if I try to see your future, it always ends in death... no matter how much I try to see into your future, you always die, but if I try to see too far into your future, my eyes bleed and I see nothing.”

”Why? Why don’t you die even though your destiny is always death? Hahahaha why!! Hahahaha” she laughs maniacally as she approaches.

”You’re so much fun! The best of the best, the greatest prize of all! A being who, according to destiny, is already dead! You’re exactly my type of girl!”

She approaches me completely.

”Back off, you lunatic, or I’ll blow your brains out,” No matter how much stronger she is, it’s not like I’m going to give in to this lunatic out of fear. Fear will never dictate my actions.

”You know, Pandora, my darling dead-alive, your destiny in 3 minutes and 54 seconds is death, the reason being suicide, the damage is decapitation by sword, cause and effect, the use of the [Authority of Suicide] of the Queen of the Vampires.”

Grimm’s eyes seem strange, and soon she speaks a ”Prophecy” and stares at me.

”Pandora, I order you to kill yourself here and now by decapitating your head with this sword,” she throws me a sword. My body moves reflexively and grabs the sword, and soon my hands start moving on their own as I try to stop the force.

”You know, my darling, the authority of suicide makes any target obey the order to kill themselves. Your destiny is to die here. You... will you come out alive again?” she asks with curiosity.

”I looked at exactly 8,933,509,255 possible futures, and in all of them, you kill yourself... I want to see... I want to see it so much, whether you kill yourself or survive, I still come out on top. If you survive, I’ll know you’re my soulmate.”

”And if you die... you’ll enter my darling collection of Demon Kings hahahaha,” she laughs like a lunatic, watching me try to survive. If the blade cuts my head off in my current weakened state, I will truly die.

”The authority of suicide can only be overcome by someone stronger than me or by extreme mental strength, but you don’t possess either at a high enough level to help you, so what will you do? This is so curious!”

I can’t use magic, only mental strength to try to stop my body. The blade moves at a very slow pace due to the mental calculations I’ve made, and in a few minutes, as she said, I will die.

’Seriously!!’ I try to think. There must be something I can do to survive. Whenever I try to move in the opposite direction of her command, I can’t, and if I try to use magic, it doesn’t work, and even moving my tail has become practically impossible.

’...’ Of course, an idea comes to me. I can’t go ”against” the command, but I noticed that I can follow the command without restraint. I purposefully move the blade with force towards my neck, and in this brief moment of freedom, I pierce my abdomen with my tail.

The pain with instinct makes me drop the sword and try to hold the tail that was considered an ”enemy” my body, which is mostly instinct, tends to always defend me, and if it doesn’t defend against it, it counter-attacks by either hitting or restraining the attack.

So I dropped the sword and held the tail that had pierced my abdomen.

”You... came out alive... two seconds early... again you didn’t die HAHAHAHAHA,” she laughs excitedly as she runs up to me and hugs me, lifting me off the ground.

I start punching her in the face, but it doesn’t scratch her, she doesn’t even react. From the outside, the scene looks like a weak child trying to hit an adult.

”YOU PSYCHOTIC BITCH!” I almost died for real, while cursing her, my body starts regenerating the damage as blood drips from my tail to the floor.

”Don’t be so angry, my darling, you’re the soulmate I’ve been looking for,” I put my hands on her face and try to push her away to get out.

’Seriously! Nobody said this queen was so crazy.... DAMN THOSE FUCKING HUMANS, IT’S THEIR FAULT’ I remember that it was the humans’ fault that corrupted her.

In other words, this bitch is this crazy because of the damn humans who messed with what they shouldn’t have.

’Well... at least she loves me instead of hating me’ It would be terrible if she tried to kill me.

”Don’t kiss me! And stop calling me darling,” she hugs me tightly while kissing my cheek.

I never imagined this necrophile would be so crazy as to try to kill me just to say I’m her soulmate.
